I can't feel anything. My surroundings are pitch black. Am I dead? No, I can't be. And orange and purple light starts to flicker around me. The light is coming from my soul. "What...?" I look down at my chest where my purple soul is and it had another soul inside of it. This other soul, it was orange. "Papyrus.." I mumble out as of I'm questioning myself. A loud voice booms through the darkness, "HUMAN??" It's Papyrus! The orange part of my soul begins to glow brightly but it didn't hurt like it did before. "KIT, YOU MUST KNOW BY NOW THAT I AM DEAD. TURNED TO DUST BY CHARA." Papyrus' voice booms seriously. I nod and I see his silhouette form before me. He looks the same, just a little transparent. "KIT, WHEN SANS FINDS OUT ABOUT ME.. WHICH HE WILL," he pauses and looks at me. "I WANT YOU TO WATCH OVER HIM. I DON'T WANT HIM TO MEET THE SAME FATE AS.." I hear him sniffle, "THE GREAT PAPYRUS. AND I MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN YOU LONG, HUMAN. BUT I TRUST YOU. I AM A PART OF YOU NOW, YOU ARE KEEPING MY SOUL ALIVE WITHIN YOUR OWN, KIT." Papyrus smiles, "HANG ON, KIT AND KEEPING GOING UNTIL THE END!" Papyrus fades and a bright light slowly starts to surround us and Papyrus disappears. "Papyrus.." I say and then smile. "I'll do that.." I place a hand over my floating soul. "I'll do it for you..." And the light surrounds me.
"Uhhh..." I groan and sit up. I can feel numb pain on my right arm and left eye. I blink with drowsiness and look around my surroundings and I'm in a large cave and out of the snow. "Who saved me..?" I say and look around. I place my right arm down in front of me, only to notice that I can't feel anything in my finger tips. I look down confused and look down at my arm. "WHAT THE HECK!!??" I scream and grab my right arm with my left. My right arm is burned to the bone, literally, I have no skin on my right arm and sleeve is burned off. "Aww, man.. My sweater.." I pout and look at the area where the sleeve was. I sigh and push myself up and look around, "Hello, is anyone else in here?" I say queitly into the cave. The cave was silent for a few moments until a heard gurgling. "Hello?" I say again and step closer into the dark of the cave. I hear more gurgles see a slime blob-ish figure. "Please, do not come any closer.." The voice or voices sound distorted, as if they were morphed to create one voice. Curiosity gets the best of me and I reach out the figure, grabbing a sticky arm-like part of their.. body and pull them into the light. The monster looks like 2 monsters melted into one another. But they kind of look human. "How did this happen..?" I look at them in sadness and diabelief. The 2 heads melted together have 4 eyes and all the eyes blink in surprise, from green set (of eyes) to brown set. "Alphes.." One voice mumbles. "Experiments.." A different voice says. "Alphes...?" Why did that name ring a bell? "Well, what are or.. is your names?" I say smiling gently. " One arm points to the 'blue side' (left)of the monster and says, "Lin." And the 'pink side' (right) said, "Tami." The brown set of eyes adverting downward and sadly. "Help us become seperate beings again, we are twins. But we cannot stand being like this any longer!" The monster wails, tears streaming down from its 2 sets of eyes. "I..I don't know if I can help you, but the least I can do is stay and keep you both company." I say gently and the 2 crack a smile, or what looked like one. We all talked for hours until the sun went down. "We should get some rest..." I smile and rub my eyes gently. They nod and slink back into the shadows and I hear soft, distorted snoring. I then lay my head down in where I was sleeping this morning and drift off into the peaceful darkness of sleep.
