Wilde Child

"Bye mom, bye dad!"

"Bye kids!" Nick and Judy both exclaimed as their kids walked from their house, ready for school.

"Hey August," Aleah started, adjusting her backpack strap.

"What, Aleah?"

"If practice makes perfect..but nobody's perfect..then why  practice?" She curiously asked.

August stopped walking and turned to her. "Sometimes I wonder how many times mom and dad dropped you on your head when you were little."

Aleah frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. "I wonder how many times you got rejected by Freddie."

"I wonder how long it took you to noticed that those "little lumps" on your chest were boobs."

Aleah gasped holding her chest and turning away, cheeks red. "Hey! This conversation does not concern Thrilla and Vanilla!"

"Thrilla and Vanilla? You name your tits?" Aiden questioned, watching the two argue.

"Aiden!" Aleah screeched.

"What I do?"

"You-August stop!"

August was laughing frantically.

"I'm sorry-you name....you name your boobs?" He said between laughs.

Aleah pulled her ears in frustration and stomped away towards the bus stop as he brothers followed behind.

"What do you think she names her-"

"Shut up!" She snapped at them and continued walking.

The boys snickered before shutting their mouths.

When the reached the bus stop, they waited for the bus to come.

The kits were now twelve years old, and with age, comes responsibility. Their father had told them. But now that they were twelve, they were in seventh grade, and in seventh grade....shit goes down.

There's drama, dances, and the scariest things of all....

BOYS.

Well...for Aleah at least.

Because the boys at her school were ugly and unattractive. Again, that's just Leah's point of view.
Through her elementary years, luckily, she only needed three additional lung check ups and no other surgeries prior to the one she had had when five. Her lungs were improving. And that meant that she could finally got to sleep without the buzzing breathing machine next to her. But...she's been with that machine since she was first brought home, and she's grown with it...but now she was FREE! She could finally sleep on her stomach! For a twelve year old girl..it was very exciting for her.

Anyway, when the bus arrived, they boarded on, and lucky for Leah, they were talking about something not on the line of....
her naming her tits..

"Leah!" A light brown fennec fox with curly fur on the top of her head, hazel eyes, and a white circle around her left eye, cheered when she saw her friend.

"Hey Freddie!" Aleah gushed, immediately sitting next to her best friend on the bus.

"H-hi Freddie." August greeted sheepishly while blushing before Aiden shoved him out the way.

"Wassup Curly Fry!"

Freddie rolled her eyes while giggling. Aiden was a flirt. He wasn't a good one, though. But he at least could make a girl laugh and...that's really all you gotta do to get them on a date with you.

"Hey August, hey Aiden." She greeted back in a friendly manner.

The two WildeHopps boys waved back happily before taking their seats on the bus.

"Soooo....Aleah, anything new?" Freddie asked, smiling until her fangs showed.

Aleah pushed her muzzle away. "You have morning breeaaaath." She stretched, making Freddie close her mouth.

"Okay..okay." Freddie said before straightening her clothes and asking again. "Anything new?"

"Umm, not much.."

"You sure?"

"Preeeettty sure."

"Mhm what about what happened with Jace?"

"Pftttt....whaaaat?"

"You know what."

"I don't know nothing about that or him!"

Freddie stared into her eyes knowingly. "You have a crush on-"

"Shhhhabababalololololjajaja!"

"What?"

"Shut up!"

"Why?"

"Since my brother's ears are mixed with both rabbit and fox, they can hear really good. And I don't want them to hear us. So quiet." She whispered.

The fennec fox nodded slowly. "Okay. I gotchu, okay."

They sat in silence for a long time before Freddie spoke up. "So you like him?"

"What? No! Who told you that?"

"Riley, that one eight grader. She started shipping you two and then soon everyone just assumed you had a crush on him."

Aleah slouched in her seat, groaning in annoyance. "Jace is ugly! I don't like him!"

"Leah, you think everyone's ugly. Just give him a chance!"

"Freddie, my dear Freddie," Aleah started, sitting up and grabbing her friend by the shoulders.

"I do not like Jace. He's too clichè for me!"

"This book is too clichè!"

"Book?"

"Neva mind!"

"Truth is," Freddie grabbed Aleah's paw. "You have to settle sometimes. Stop being a tough cookie and live on the Wilde side. Pun intended."

Aleah turned away from her. "You sound like my grandma."

"The dead one or the bunny one?"

"How could you sound like a dead grandma?"

"Easy!" She chirped.

"Whea are meh dentures?" Freddie croaked in an old lady voice.

Aleah chuckled lightly. "Okay. That was weird, but seriously," she stood up when the bus stopped. "I'm twelve, I can settle when I'm really old, like thirty."
She stated.

Freddie grabbed her things and followed Aleah off the school bus. "You're right.."

It was going to be a long day.

"Omg, Leah, don't look now." Warned Aleah's best friend as she hurriedly turned away.

"What-?"

"What is this?" A chuckling voice of a very high pitched bitch,

*girl, teased.

"Just look away..." Freddie whispered from next to Aleah. They were sitting together at a wooden picnic table outside their school's play ground or whatever it was. A playground has play things. This one had a swing, three benches, and a black top for basketball and kick ball and junk.

"NO.." Aleah whispered/yelled back and then turned to who stood before her.

"What are you?" She, the mammal confronting Aleah, was a grey fox. Literally, the only thing both grey on her was her cheap lipstick and clothes.

"None of your business." The hybrid snapped, causing the grey fox and her friends to gasp.

"Ooh, she's got a wittle attitude!" Gushed the grey fox with sarcasm.

"Dang right I do and can you go to the bathroom and pull that wedgie from out of your,"-she motioned to her private part. "that uh...looks pretty painful."

The fox scoffed. "Don't be mad because my jeans fit me well."

"I'm not mad about your crotch cutters."

"Crotch cutters?" Freddie asked and Aleah nodded. "Its when your pants are so high up it literally cuts your-"

"Okay little rat, we've had enough." The grey fox snorted, rolling her eyes.

"Keep rolling your eyes, maybe you'd find a brain back there." Aleah sung, fixing her uniform pretending that she didn't care much about the fox.

The fox's friends chuckled and was immediately shushed by the leader, so say.

"Sooo..why are you here again? The Strip club's that way." Aleah pointed her finger towards the exit door.

"Are you calling me a slut?"

The hybrid gave her a once over. "Your clothes say it all."

"Okay you little rat, fox, chicken leg, hybrid thing! What are you!?"

"Why do you care?"

"Just being a messenger for you little boy crush over there," she motioned towards the area where most of the boys hung out. Where Jace, the ugly guy where everyone thinks Aleah has a crush on sits.

Aleah sucked her teeth, displaying an un-amused expression. "You really think I like him? He's not my type!"

"Jace is everyone's type. But then again, you are an ugly kangaroo slash fox thing so you're not really his type."

"Excuse me, I'm not part kangaroo."

"Then what are you? Part bitch. Yeah, I can see the resemblance."

Aleah stood up, now growling. "Aleah, calm down." Freddie warned, grabbing her paw.

"Oh no! The little weasel fox is gonna hurt me! Ahh!" The grey fox teased and her friends laughed.

Aleah squinted her eyes at her and thought of her father's words.

"Never let them see that they get to you. Oh, and also in a fight, let them get the first hit...then you get second hit, first kick and stomp then you get the hell out of there before the teachers see.."

Them she thought of her mother's words..

"School isn't about fights blag blah blah, it's about education blah blah blah.."

And Aiden...

"STOMP EM IN DA NUTS! STOMP EM IN DA NUTS!.."

August..

"Cut their neck open with a pokémon card.."

So yeah. Her best deal was to be the first to smack the fox in the nuts with a book and give her a applet cut with pokémon cards. Then run away.

"What are you going to do, little weasel?"

"I'm not a weasel! And you want me to prove it? Hit me first."

"No you hit me first."

"Welp guess we're not fighting. Thanks for the time, lady! Really! I appreciated you wasting it. Hopefully we never see each other again, but who knows? Small world we live in. Okay, bye now!" Aleah concluded, bowing before strutting away with Freddie following behind.

"Dude that was savage!"

"Well...I am a Wilde child."

"Pun intended?"

"You know it!"
