Nick walked into the auction which was as big as the Gazelle concert he went to months ago. He made his was to the front, squeezing pass the crowds of animals. There were all kinds there, big, small, male, female, even prey and predators. Nick saw that a seat was reserved for someone and threw the sign off before taking a seat. He looked up as someone entered the stage.

"Good even ladies and gentlemammals, are you all ready for this year's event?" A striped lemur said, a microphone in his paw.

Cheers and applause echoed the whole place and the lemur smiled. "Alrighty then, which should we start with, predator or prey?"

Animals shouted and yelled their answers. Nick lowly growled, because he was impatient and because the whole atmosphere this place was giving him an uncomfortable vibe.

"I'll start with predators!" The lemur cheered.

The first hour was all predators of different species, Nick was surprised when he only saw two foxes. He wanted to rescue them all, every single girl. As sad as it sounds, he couldn't. Nick had to stick to the plan.

"Are you ready to see the next beautiful young ladies?" The lemur exclaimed.

I swear to god, when this is over, I'm coming for that lemur..

The crowd cheered again and Nick saw that some animals were glancing at him. Preferably, the ones sitting next to him. Nick started to clap along with the others, trying not to look suspicious.

"The first prey, Amanda Willer!" A small otter walked out from behind the stage, her face streaked with tears.

Nick growled and muttered under his breath. "Oh, I'm gonna kill that lem-"

"Could ya speak up mate? I couldn't quite hear ya."

Nick turned to his left to see a brown wolf. "Um..who are you?" Nick said to the wolf.

"The names Austin." 'Austin' extended his paw to Nick.

"I'm....I'm uh, Rick." Nick hesitated on the name.

"Nice to meet ya Nick. So, tell me what brings you here?"

"U-um, I'm just looking for-"

"Women, right?"

"Y-yeah, women." Nick forced a smile, his face looked like he was telling the truth bit his voice was enough to tell he was lying.
But Austin didn't see that.

"Great. Me too. What type are you looking for?" Austin asked.

He sure is asking alot of questions.

"I'm looking for a bunny." Nick simply said.

"Ah, a little predator eats prey thing am I right?" Austin chuckled.

Nick chuckled along with him.

After another hour, the lemur on stage announced that they were down to the last few prey. And Nick hasn't seen one sign of Judy. Sure there were tons of bunnies, but Nick wasn't even tempted by them, he only wanted Judy.

"You don't like those bunnies?" Austin asked Nick a few moments later.

"Nah, I'm looking for one my type." Nick quickly answered.

Austin nodded. He was already bidding on three girls, out of all 234 of them. As the last two girls exited the stage, the lemur entered again.

"Gorgeous aren't they? But you know how we do this, we saved the best for last!"

Nick glared at the lemur and already knew the name he was gonna say.

"Introducing, Officer Judy Hopps." The whole room filled with gasps and whistles from guys.

I knew it.

Out came Judy who was in worst shape than all the other girls, wearing a very inappropriate police costume. But to be honest, Nick kind of liked the way she looked in the uniform.

The lemur then started with a price. "Going for 500 dollars!"

Nick's eyes almost popped out of his head.

Five hundred? Judy's worth a million..

He then noticed what he said and frowned. If she was priced at a million, Nick wouldn't be able to buy her.
He was cut from his thoughts when he heard someone speak while the room was quiet.

"Here!"

Nick snapped his head in the direction it came from. It was a giraffe. Of course, the tallest mammal in the room. Nick looked at Judy who didn't notice him, he was shocked to see her smiling.

"Isn't she adorable!" The lemur said, caressing her cheek.

"520? Anyone for five twenty?" The lemur said, way to fast for Nick to understand.

"Here!" Nick yelled raising his paw and smirking.

"Make me proud." Bryson whispered into Judy's ear as it was her turn on stage.

Judy honestly was scared, she didn't want any nasty creep buying her and using her for an unmentionable amount of things. Bryson shoved Judy out onto the stage and grinned as gasps were heard.

The lemur approached Judy with a warm smile and took her paw in his. "Going for five hundred!"
He said.

Judy gasped and a frightened look waved her over her face. "Here!" Someone yelled. The looks she got from the audience made her want to gag. But she couldn't.

She had to follow Bryson's rules.
"Smile," he would say. "Look pretty and say yes to whatever they say."

If she didn't follow what he said, he'd hit her multiple times. So Judy stood up straight and forced her best smile. "Isn't she adorable!" The lemur brought his paw up to her cheek.

If he doesn't move his paw from my face..

"520? Anyone for five twenty?"

Judy looked around the crowd, tears building in her eyes but she refused to cry. She didn't want to be with that giraffe!

"Here!" Yelled another figure.

Judy looked to the figure who was a grey fox smirking.

No no no no no no no!!!!!

"Woah, isn't he a catch, sweetheart!" The lemur said to Judy.

Bryson then walked up to her with a little headset in his paw.
"Talk to them, make yourself worth a high price." He whispered to her as he placed the headset on her.

Judy wanted to say no but Bryson saw through her and glared. She then nodded and smiled at him.

"That's my girl."

Judy giggled, which echoed through the headset and to the whole auditorium.

"What a beautiful laugh! How about 550?" The lemur said.

Judy got tired of standing straight and rested all her weight on left leg. The audience exploded with applause and moans.

She raised an eyebrow at them and soon, a voice appeared in her left ear. It was Bryson. "Do that again." He said through the headset.

Judy rolled her eyes and rested her weight on her other leg which caused the animals to cheer.

She really didn't see why they reacted like this to her when all she did was lean. "Surprise them." Bryson's voice said.

Surprise them? How was she supposed to surprise them? Judy wanted to ask Bryson how but she couldn't. Everyone would hear and won't be willing to pay for a fraud performance.

Judy bent down and blew a air kiss before standing up again. Her ears lowered as the loud sound of cheering and howling
She has never been so disappointed in her life.
The lemur clapped and spoke. "Six hundred!"

"Here!"

"Here!"

"Over here!"

Lots of paws and hooves shot up into the air.

Oh god...

"650!"

"Here!"

"Mine!"

"Dibs!"

"Here!"

The yelling wouldn't stop. Soo many voices all in one place. Judy mentally sighed.
Then it hit her, she could easily say anything and they'll listen. As wicked as it sounded, it could work. And it hurt her to know that these men, (and women) were interested in her only for her looks.

If only she knew Nick was there..

"A thousand dollars and I'm yours!" Judy said over the yelling.

Everything was silent until Bryson spoke again. "Flirt with them, don't just stay in one place, walk around."

Judy giggled again, even though she wanted to cry. "What, you don't want me?" She teased.

"Here!" Nick said again.

Judy grinned and motioned the fox on stage. Nick hesitated but then obeyed.

"There you are!" She laughed, touching the fox's chest when He approached her.

Nick forced a smile. He wanted to hug her, soo much he did. He couldn't and he knew Judy was acting, though Judy didn't know that this black fox was Nick.

The audience watched carefully as Judy got closer to the fox. "What's your name.."

"R-Rick.." Nick answered.

Damn it! She looks soo hot..

"Kiss him." Bryson said.

Judy placed her paw on Nick's muzzle and felt him trembling. She looked up in his eyes that shown a certain emerald green. And the only fox she knew had green eyes was Nick.

Judy immediately kissed him. Even if it was a quick kiss on the lips, it meant alot to her.

Nick was here to save her, he came for her, which means...

He loved her.

More yelling and cheers echoed.
Judy chuckled and pushed Nick away. "Go sit down."

Nick walked back to his seat, shocked that Judy had kissed him. It wasn't the fact that she had kissed him, it was the fact that she was dressed in that outfit.

"Wow, the atmosphere here is thick people! She's going for a little more cash! How much are you heading for Judy?" The lemur asked.

Bryson immediately answered. "Fifteen hundred."

"Fifteen hundred and I'll be going home with you." She pointed out to the audience.

Nick raised his paw quickly. The numbers are beginning to get high, and he has a limited amount of money.

"Eighteen hundred and it's a deal!"

Both Judy and Nick looked to the brown wolf standing up. Austin.

Nick then stood up. "Eight thousand!"

Everyone gasped, even judy. "Eight thousand, going once!" The striped lemur said.

No one answered for a few moments....until Austin spoke up.

"Half a million!"

Nick was taken aback, that much money made his head spin.

Judy had a look of fright on her face..

No! Nick come up with something!

But Nick had nothing. He sat down speechless. Austin smirked at Nick. "I guess I JUST stole your prey." He teased.

"Half a million going once...going twice.."

No one answered at all.

"Sold! To the brown wolf in the polo shirt!"

Judy covered her mouth with her paws. No! N-Nick!

Austin happily stood up and entered the stage. The lemur smiled brightly. "Tell me your name son." The lemur asked.

"Austin, Austin Sün." Austin remarked, overly excitedly.

"My name is King Julian." The lemur said.

Austin nodded before putting an arm around Judy, which caused her to get nervous. "We'll except the money in cash only." Julian said.

Austin smiled in reply and walked off stage with Judy.

Nick was in complete shock, he felt like he had lost everything.
But not yet.

He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Jack's number, hoping he would answer.

"Officer Wilde, get to a secure place. We've got threatening gunmen outside." Jack's voice said through the phone.

"Jack, our target just exited the stage, did you take care of Bryson?" Nick said, getting out of his seat and walking out the auditorium with the other mammals.

Ruffles were heard and the line went dead. Nick hung up and placed his phone in his pocket before rushing back stage.

There were so many girls back there, it would be hard to find Judy and Austin. But Nick had to try, Judy means everything to him, he has to...

For her he has to..

He looked around constantly until her saw a familiar brown tail. It has to be him.

Nick approached the brown wolf and yanked his tail back, sending him flying backwards. Even though he was a wolf, he had no fight in him.

Nick growled at the wolf and held him by his collar. "Look, I don't know who told you buying women was okay, but it's not!"

Nick pulled the wolf close to his face. "And you can just forget about taking my carrots home, cause no one touches my Carrots. The only mammal taking her home tonight is me, and I'll murder you to make sure that happens!"

Judy stood still, watching and listening the whole time. "I paid almost a million dollars for her, you're not getting her!" Austin pushed Nick off o him and snatched Judy by the arm before running.

"Nick! Help!" Judy screamed.

Nick sprinted after Austin until he heard gunfire. The whole room emitted in loud bangs of gunfire and screaming from the girls.

"Get down on the ground!" Nick yelled to the girls around him as he took out his gun.

The girls obeyed, some of them crying and even praying. Nick ran in the direction of the gunfire. Yes, it was stupid..but Judy and Austin went that way.

Nick turned a corner and immediately regretted it. Bullets flew at him with rapid speed. Nick quickly turned back around the corner, panting and looked down at his arm to see it was shot.

He took off his tie and wrapped it around his arm, tucking one side under the other and pulling with his teeth and open paw. Nick then cocked back his pistol and waited until the gunfire to stop before shooting.

The sound of multiple bodies hit the ground and Nick peeked around the corner to see three predators dead.

Nick hated killing, he didn't even like the the thought of it. Yet, that's another reminder to him that he only did this for Judy.
He'd kill for her. And now he has proven it.

He stood up and sprinting until he saw different sets of rooms. Nick sniffed the air and immediately knew which one they were in. He kicked the door open and a small yelp was heard. Judy.

Austin glared at Nick. "Can you give us some space!?" Austin said.

Nick pointed the gun directly at him, a serious expression on his face. "I will not hesitate to paint the walls with your blood, Austin!" Nick snarled.

Austin snatched Judy by her ear and brought a gun to her head. Judy trembled and tears started running down her face.

"Now, you can either give me your gun or just walk off like nothing happened." Austin said.

"P-p-please don't do this." Judy begged.

"Shut up!" Austin brought his paw against Judy's face....

Loud cracks of gunshots whipped through the air and it lasted for about a minute until all could be heard was the desperate clicks of the gun for more bullets.

Judy, who had her head down wiped a thick substance off her and come to find it was blood., luckily not hers.

She slowly looked up to see Nick, pistol still pointed, and tears running down his face, washing away the grey dye.

"ZPD, PUT YOUR WEAPONS DOWN!" A officer yelled.

He threw Nick to the ground and began to cuff him. Judy watched the two, speechless.

More officers approached them and one looked at Judy. "O-officer Hopps?" She asked and Judy nodded, pushing Austin off of her.

The female officer bent down to hug Judy. Nick wished that it was he and Judy hugging.

The officers held Nick in cuffs. Right before they escorted him outside, he looked in Judy's eyes.

No words were said...

All that needed to be said has already been said..

But with that quick glance the shared, it was obvious what the two wanted to say...
