Jade entered the massive meeting hall with her elegant demeanor and graceful strides. She moved to the head of the table, where there were two individual seats. Nodding in acknowledgement to the others. It was the monthly HQ meeting, and Jade, the Luna of all werewolves, had taken on the role of Alpha.

Everyone entered and took their seats; there were only five minutes until the meeting began when the doors abruptly opened. Except for Jade, who was focused on the topic sheet in front of her, heads turned to look at this latecomer.

JB walks calmly and casually through the meeting hall before taking his seat at the empty chair next to Jade at the head of the table. So the meeting began.

Jade swept her gaze around the table as each pack alpha gave their monthly reports before noticing a new face. She leaned forward slightly and waited for someone to finish their report before interrogating,

"You're a new face," Jade remarks, admiring the girl's youth. "May I inquire as to which pack you belong to?"

The girl who had been singled out nodded and spoke shyly. "My name is Jennie. My mother had died, leaving me to take her place as the BLACKPINK's Alpha."

Jade gives her a warm and genuine smile. "I see, I hope you'll get used to these meetings soon."

As the meeting progressed and all of the reports were presented, everyone began to discuss the arising issues. A human had captured a werewolf a few days before, but it had regained consciousness before things got too tangled and managed to flee.

This incident sparked a lot of debate among humans, so those who go on night hunts needed to keep quiet until things calmed down.

While the smaller pack leaders debated the issue, the EXO pack's alpha had turned his attention to JB. "How are we going to prosecute the countless werewolves who have gone rogue in the last year?"

JB opens his mouth to respond but is unable to form a coherent response that will help the situation. Jade, noticing JB's long silence, took advantage of the situation and saved him some face.

"The situation with the rouge werewolves is quite delicate and critical; it must be handled with care," she began, capturing the EXO leader's full attention. "We are documenting their identities and crime levels over time. Those at the very top are being sought."

As the meeting progressed, JB gritted his teeth as more people turned to Jade for answers instead of JB. After some incense, the meeting came to an end. As everyone stood up to leave, they came to a halt as they watched JB aggressively push back his chair and stand.

He walked out the hall without looking back at Jade, who was gathering her files, shaking her head and trailing silently behind. His annoyance was clearly visible on his face. Jennie cast a glance between them and watched them walk out the door.

JB gets into the car first, followed by Jade, and the two drive away in silence.
