Mariposa Eden Abbott was born in Riverdale on November 7th, 2001. She was born to her mother, father and two older brothers, Luca and Christian. Her mom and dad split when she was a baby, and her mother began dating someone else named Eric. When she was a kid, she became best friends with a girl named Polly Cooper, until her family became theirs. When they were sophomores, they befriended golden boy Jason Blossom. The became a known trio around the school, as he was on the football team and they were vixens. At a birthday party for Posie, her and Jason hooked up, and she ended up getting pregnant, but didn't know it until later. They did end up dating too. Later that school year, shortly before she found out about the baby, she ran a state track meet and came first in the state. She then found out she was pregnant, and so did her step father, and he sent her away to a troubled youth home called "The Sisters of Quiet Mercy."
    When Posie was almost full term, she escaped the place and ran away. When found, she refused to go home, and moved in with the Coopers instead. On June 30th, 2017, Posie gave birth to Adelaine Jay Blossom, who they all called AJ. A few days later, she found out that while she was still sedated, her previous boyfriend had gone missing.
