Five years didn't go by that soon, When Sarang was born one rainy night, Donghyuck didn't have the heart to leave his freshly delivered baby in the arms of his husband. But he had to, she was brought thrice a day to the prison as he would feed her then Mark would leave with the child sleeping in his arms. It tore Donghyuck apart but it tore Mark more. Once again he was left with a baby to take care of. It only dragged him back to the man who drowned in bottles of beer and cigarette, what turned worser was that he would slice his thighs until he'd would to blackness.
"Aren't you going back to work?" Donghyuck asked his husband as he let his baby girl suckle on his nipples.
"I can't, I've taken a break baby." Mark whispered smiling. He carried his facade well, he made sure Donghyuck never found out.
Traumatic as it seemed that was how life was for them, voided and empty. Donghyuck remembered Byeol every second of his life, here there and almost everywhere. But the house he once lived no longer had the presence of the four year old baby lingering at its very corners. Just left with memories that play like a film without sound.
Sarang grew each month, each year, she looked more like Mark. A girl version of her Daddy, her favourite parts of the weekend was visiting Hyung and Mommy. She was a bundle filled with love and affection, she completed most of the emptiness, as slowly the couple learned to live with the pain.
"I'm getting released tomorrow." Donghyuck whispered up at his handsome husband. He smiled then pecked Marks chin.
"Mommy homey!" Sarang squealed seal clapping at the news.
Five long years spent in prison that also was a version of hell didn't do Donghyuck much good but it made him stronger. He earned pretty much alot working at the godforsaken place. The first thing Mark did the day he was released was to crush him in a bone crushing hug.
"I don't have red lipstick on but........kiss me." Donghyuck whispered. Mark smashed their lips together, kissing him long and deep.
"He still loves him so much despite their pasts." Yeri chuckled going inside.
The house wasn't the same but it was Byeol's favourite, Donghyuck wanted to leave Vancouver but now his soul had been bounded to the very grounds of the city. It was tied up forever with Byeol. They visited his grave and Koeun's together after five years. Though they left crying first they left smiling now with Sarang giggling in Donghyucks arms. Mrs Lee wasn't buried, no was her husbands, they were thrown to decay and perish else where away from the purity of Byeol's and Koeun's souls.
"You hurt yourself so much and you think I won't know?" Donghyuck caressed Marks naked thighs, his stubby arms tracing each cut making his face flinch in pain. He didn't blame the older, for he knew Mark would do the same once he was here now.
Six months later Donghyuck fell pregnant again, hoping it would Byeol this time, but sadly the boy was blessed with girls. From visiting Byeol with Sarang, to visiting him with Haneul, the brunette tried everything he possibly could to have a boy. Mark helped him each year to place flowers on the grave, they never forgot to show Byeol the love he deserved.
"I love them but I want a son Mark. I want my Byeollie." Donghyuck started crying when he was said that he was carrying another girl.
Four beautiful girls were born, Sarang, Haneul, Aera and Michael. The last one had a guy's name but she looked more like a mix of both so her Mommy decided on that name. They loved Byeol, especially visiting his cute grave every Friday after school.
"I dragged you down to hell with me." Mark whispered, he got slapped by his wife with a giggle. They were happy though a little sad, but that's how God made people forget as slowly as time breaks down the pain.
"Mark........I-I think my water broke." Donghyuck gasped dropping the tray of brownies he was holding.
This time they didn't see the gender, hoping it would be Byeol. The girls were at his grave, giggling and playing, oblivious of their mother going into severe labour. Donghyuck had never been in so much of pain before, grandma was too old to help him, Mark squeezed the stubby arms, praying he wouldn't loose his wife the way he lost his first.
"M-Markkkk........I can't!!!" Donghyuck screamed so loud most of them thought he'd leave them old that day.
Hours ticked by, Donghyuck was still in labour. The girls decided to home since it was getting darker, they kissed Byeol a goodnight then ran home as they always did on Fridays. Finding that their Mommy was in the hospital they ran towards the hospital that was just around the corner.
Donghyuck pushed one last time and the baby was born, screaming to the world that it was out of its mother's belly. It screeched and wailed, Mark was given a cleaned baby as he kissed Donghyucks forehead and placed the baby in his wife's arms.
"Mark......" Donghyucks eyes filled with tears as he looked up at his husband's eyes.
"It's our Byeollie." Mark smiled that ever lasting smile at him. The baby squealed at his parents, he was phat and the perfect size Byeol once was. The big bear orbs glistening proving that he was back but as Donghyuck's and Marks only son. The baby held his Mommy's chubby cheeks with a train of giggle then smiled at his father, the toothless smile precious as it put all the shattered pieces of the couple back together. Mark hugged them so tight as their girls crashed into the hug as well. Though Byeol's death left them in pieces his rebirth pieced them back, after all the years they were finally genuinely happy.
The End
