Evelyn

Its been four days since I saw Blake at the entrance of the school. I went to school alone as Duke didn't came to pick me up. I took bus and got down at school stop. Blake was waiting for me at the school gate, I saw him and ran inside the building ignoring yells from him. On that day I ignored him like plaque and escaped from him. I turned around and walked away whenever I saw him at canteen, library or hallways. But after that day he didn't show up and I haven't seen him at school also.

I asked susan if she fetched her letter from him. But she said she didn't even had time to call him to go get her letter. Duke called me saying that he would drop me at home. I went to parking lot, I waved at him and we got into car to home.

It turned dark as usual at the time I reached home, I went to my room and switched on the lights. I walked straight to bathroom and took a shower, dressing up I stepped outside and saw my room dark. I'm sure I switched on lights before going to bath, then why is it dark. I shrugged and lied on bed closing my eyes, I thought to wake up when my mom arrives. After two minutes, I felt a pair of lips caressing my cheek down my neck. I jolted from my bed and opened my mouth to scream but a hand covered it making my scream come out as a muffled voice.

I'm not only the one in this room. There's someone!

There's a movement beside me and in next second the lights to my room were switched on, I blinked and saw Blake lied on bed facing me. His chocolate brown eyes staring at me, I blinked thinking is this real or my hallucination.

"It's not your hallucination or imagination cupcake I'm here with you and I love your dress" he said smirking and eying my exposed thighs. I gasped and covered them by pulling a pillow on them.

"How come you're here?" I asked him glaring

"I climbed and came from window" he said pointing at my opened window.

Did I left my window opened?

"There's a door downstairs to come inside, you don't need to sneak in like a burglar!" I said deadpan and stood up from my bed.

"Yeah... But I thought you'd shut the door on my face once I came straight to you" he replied chuckling.

I gave him a dead look to which he stopped laughing and rolled on bed to sit at the edge.

"Yeah.. I'd do that!" I said agreeing with his statement.

"Come on Eve. Stop playing hide and seek, I can't tolerate your silent treatment anymore.. What's your problem?" he stated looking straight into my eyes.

"Good for you then because the deal between us terminated a few days ago and now you're free to do whatever you want without my involvement"

"Hey, what happened? Why are you doing this?" he asked moving forward to grab my arm but I stepped back.

"Nothing" I turned away from him.

"Besides your girlfriend will be upset if she knows about this deal" I continued

"Girlfriend? Who?who are you talking about?" he frowned turning me around to face him.

"I'm talking about that bi.... Ha Stella, who else!" he started laughing as soon as these words left my mouth. I stared at him as if he went crazy.

"who told you that she's my girlfriend?" he asked

"Why you guys lying about her to me. I know she's your girlfriend!" I answered putting a straight face. His expression went to serious, and he clenched his jaw.

"You discussed about this with someone else too? Who may I know?" He asked irritatingly.

"Harry... " I trailed "Why did you ask him? This is between you and me, he's Nothing to do with this!" I flinched at his voice. Seeing my reaction he sighed and closed his eyes for a second and then opened again.

"Sorry" I mumbled dropping my gaze to ground.

"It's okay... So are we back now?" his voice filled with hope.

I put a straight face and answered "No!" he huffed out loudly and was about to say something but then my mom barged into my room.

"Oops! I think I came at wrong time.. Sorry guys" she said darting her eyes between blake and me.

"What is it mom?" I asked walking to her.

"Baby, I bought you some party wear. Guess what I went to shopping with my colleagues as I had no cases today" she said in excitement.

"I don't wear them. You know right? Then why you bought again?" I asked her.

"Won't you go parties with your friends dear?"

"Blake, don't you guys enjoy at this age... Is there anyone throwing parties ?" she asked him tilting her head so that she can see him.

"Hmm.... I don't think so Andria" he replied after a few seconds. His mind is somewhere else.

"Did you guys fought again?" She asked sensing our environment.

"There's nothing to fight mom. I'm hungry go and prepare food. Bye" I pushed her out if my room ignoring her protests.

"Baby, talk with him. Why are you behaving like this.. I see my daughter grew up already there's no need of me in her life from now!" she started crying.

"Mom.. Stop please!" I said opening the door.

"Baby why don't you Go for a walk with him until I prepare food" she tried but I glared at her and glanced at Blake who's waiting for my answer. Mom pleaded me with her eyes... And Blake at other side.

Oh god! Why don't this day end yet!?

"Okay!" I gritted, he left my room with a smile and went downstairs. Mom followed him, I went inside slamming the door with force and changed into jeans from my shorts leaving the top to itself.

Stuffing my phone in pocket, I went downstairs and without waiting for him I ran outside and started walking towards the usual park where I go for run. I heard him calling my name but I kept walking and soon he caught my wrist and turned me to face him. I narrowed my eyes at him "Let's walk together" I nodded and he left my hand. We walked side by side in silence and reached the park.

We sat on bench and I stared into distance thinking about my life "What are you thinking?" I heard him asking me.

"I want to go back to my previous days Blake. Without you in my life... Do whatever you want with that letter" I stated and stood up to leave.

"But I don't want to go back to my previous days Evelyn! I just don't! where you'll be not there with me, I'm tired of living with no one close to me. I just found you and I won't leave you again!Did you get it!?" I stopped and turned around to see his expression. He's serious.

"What do you mean by finding me just now?" I asked taking two steps towards him.

"Huh? Nothing.. I'm just saying that I like you because you're a girl of my type"

"What do you mean by your type?" I asked raising brows at him.

"Hmm... The qualities which I want in a girl. Its you!" I rolled my eyes and turned away to walk.

"Wait!"

"What now?" I turned to face him.

"Won't you talk with me?" he asked stuffing his hands in pockets

"We're here because of the deal and now its terminated then why should I talk to you? Let's be like strangers, the way how you prefer. Okay!" I saw hurt in his eyes.

Did I say much? Let him know the pain I went through while he ignored me!

I thought he'd follow me but he didn't. I guess he went home, I went inside and saw my mom sitting at dine table.

"You guys came, come let's have dinner" I nodded and walked to wash my hands.

"Where's Blake?"

"I don't know mom" I said and started eating.

"Baby, is it the way you treat our guests. Call him now!" she yelled at me.

"No mom. I don't have anything to do with him from today" I finished my food and turned to stairs.

"Sorry Blake... Why don't you come now" I heard her talking with him in phone. I shook my head and went to my room.

As my head hit the pillow in an instant eyes closed and I went to deep slumber.
