Haruka Ayaki's PoV
I was standing alone in the rain, my body wet and freezing.

"Hey! Are you okay?!" A guy that looked my age said.

The guy was standing infront of me, holding a crimson red umbrella. He holds the umbrella to my side, getting himself wet. He was keeping me from the rain...

"Hey!"

The guy comes closer,

"Are you okay?" He asks me looking worried.

I was about to open my mouth but my body gave up on me and my heart ached. I fall to the ground then my eyes closed.

"Miss! Hey! Someone! Help us please!" The guy's voice echo in my ears and then fades.

I weakly open my eyelids and found myself in a well furnished room. Where.. am I? I tried to sit up but my head hurt and my body was numb. I closed my eyes again trying to remember what happened earlier.

"Are you awake?" I heard a familiar voice from earlier.

I open my eyes and saw the guy earlier in neat clothes.

"Yup.. Im awake..." I say in a sleepy voice.

"Thats great! How do you feel?" He asks.

"Very. Bad. My body's numb and my head hurts."

"You were asleep for 3 days, just rest for a bit and your fever would go away." He says as he takes the wet cloth on my forehead and cleans it with warm water then he puts it on my forehead.

"Eh? 3 days?!" I managed to shout. I sit up and shaked his shoulder, "Where's my phone?!" I say to him.

I barely had the strength to talk and move but hearing that I was gone for 3 days, my siblings must be worried sick. He gave me my bag which was dry, I took my phone from inside and checked it if it was still working. It lighted up, yes! I dialed Kaname's number and put the phone up to my ear.

Ring Ring

[Hello? Who's this?]

"Kaname!"

[Ah, Haruka!! Where are you?! We were so worried!!!]

"Im so sorry Kaname! I fainted in the middle of the rain and I got sick. I wad asleep for three days and I just woke up. Im so sorry Kaname..!"

[Im glad your okay!!! Where are you? Im going to pick you up now.]

"Ok--"

The guy took my phone and he puts it to his ear.

"Hello, this is the guy that took care of Haruka. She's still sick, could you let her rest for a while?"

[O - oh, okay. Call me if she's okay already.]

"Okay, I'll take care of her for now."

[Okay, thank you very for taking care of her.]

"Dont mention it. Gotta go, good bye."

BEEP

He gives me back my phone and I take it. Why did he?

"Excuse me, but.. Why did you?" I ask him out of confusion.

"Haruka, your still sick. And, I wanted to know you." He replies as he smiled.

"Oh.. how did you know my name?" I ask him while tilting my head.

"Hm? Oh, I overheard your conversation with the guy on the phone, sorry." He says while rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh, okay. Can you.. tell me your name?" I ask him nervously.

"Ah--, Im Kaito Yugami. Nice to meet you."

"Kaito Yugami.. nice to meet you. Im Haruka." I say to him.

"By chance.. have we met before?" He says while his eyes move to the corner.

"Us? I dont think so.." I say while putting my hand on my chin. "But you kind of look familiar.. sorta."

"I just think that I know someone who had the name Haruka..." He said while facepalming.

"Well, Haruka is a common name. Maybe you just heard wrong." I told him while rubbing my neck. "Perhaps you heard it from somewhere. Ayaki's a name of an industry. Ayaki Industries? Haruka Ayaki." I say to him.

"Yeah, I heard about that. Ayaki Industries.. A young teenager owns it, she's my age. Her parents died and she and her brother took over and she worked and went to school. She's really impressive, I adore her." He says while his eyes were sprakling.

I laugh, feeling praised. "I guess you'd like to meet her someday." I say to him while smiling.

"I'd love to." He says cheerfully.

I lie down again and I stared at the ceiling.

"Hey, how did you end up in the road? Did you run away or something?" He asks me, expecting for an answer.

"Well, It was raining and I never bring an umbrella with me because I hate the rain. I reminds me of something sad..."

My parents death... I looked at him and smiled,

"I'd rather not talk about it." I added.

"Oh, okay." He says while rubbing his neck. "Sorry if I bothered."

"No.." I closed my eyes then sighed. I opened my eyes and stared at the cieling. "By chance.. have you seen Haruka Ayaki in person? The person who owns an industry." I ask him as I covered my eyes with my arm.

"Uh.. hm.. Yeah, before. I think that was 3 years ago. I never watch the news, but she's always on the news for all her awards." He replies as he puts his hand on his chin.

"Okay.." I reply to him.

"You should rest. Just tell me if you need anything, I'll just be by your side." He says while smiling.

"Thank you Kaito." I thank him politely then I closed my eyes then sleep.

It was raining hard. Kaname, Remi and my other family members and friends were gathered for a funeral. My Parents' funeral. I was holding my black umbrella tightly and Remi was squeezing my hand. Kaname was looking down. We put our white roses ontop of Father and Mother's tomb and it was soon buried. Kaname and I took care of everything. But that time.. when my parents were drowning and Kaname and I were saving them. I felt that.. While I was dragging Mom to the surface.. she was letting me go, didn't she want to be saved? Until now, I've been having these dreams about a place where it always rains... dont know why though..

My eyes slowly opened and then the first thing I saw was the cieling of a room that I didn't recognize. I sit up then rubbed my eyes. I took a glance of the room and it looked like I was alone. What is this room..? There was a piano in the center of the room, with music sheets that looked like it would sound good if someone played it. Where's Kaito? I stand up and went to the piano and pressed a key. I looked at the music sheets, I know this song. "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".. was the title right? I sat down on the chair by the piano and played it. I learned how to read music when I was 10, I used to perform in musical groups. I always played the piano and the violin. I carefully played the piano, not making a single mistake.

"I haven't touched the piano for 5 years..." I say softly while playing the piano.

I pressed the last key of the piano from the music sheet and I rest my hands on my knees.

"That was amazing." Someone said while clapping.

I heard a voice, I turned and there was a tall man who had white hair and pail gray eyes. He looked neat and collected. Who is he? I stand up from the chair, looking at him.

"Did I startle you? Im sorry. Kaito said that he took you in when you fainted in the rain. Haruka.. right?" He says as he walks towards me.

"Ye - yes, Im Haruka.. A - and you are..?" I ask him nervously.

"Im Mitsura, nice to meet you." He said as he smiled.

"I - its nice to meet you Mitsura.." I said to him slightly bowing.

Why am I being proper?! And, why do I feel like we've met before?

"How do you feel?"

"I feel great.. my sickness is gone."

"Oh? Thats great then, I'll call Kaito. He's the one taking care of you anyway."

"Okay."

"Well, its nice meeting you again Haru."

He waved then left. Wait, did he call me Haru?! And "Its nice meeting you again"?! I went to the couch and thought, How did I even get here? I swear I fell asleep in a different room!

"Haruka, your awake!" Kaito walks in with a smile. He sits beside me, "How do you feel?" He asks while patting my back.

"Im good now... Thanks to you." I reply to him with a warm smile.

"Thats great!"

"Uh, Kaito.. how did I get here?"

"Hm? Oh, I carried you here." He says laughing nervously, "My brother had to use the room, my brother's a novelist and he usually does his work in the living room and he puts a lot stacks of books around and you know, what a normal novelist does. 'Write' novels. I had to transfer you to the music room since no one usually comes here except me."

"O - oh.." He carried me?! "Are you practicing the piano?"

"Ye - yes.. how did you know?"

"Just a random question.. do you enjoy playing it?"

"Well.. no... I always practice playing the piano but I never got to perfect a single song!"

"Your talking about the children's song?"

"Yes! I cant even memorize the steps..." He looked down then sighed.

"Hm..." What if I teach him? Yeah! That could be a good idea, so I could repay him for taking care of me! "Do you want me to teach you? I used to go to musical theaters, I performed at some when I was child. I could teach you, if you'd like.."

"Really?!" He says as he brightens up. "Yes! Please teach me!"

"Okay, I'll teach you now. I want to get home by evening."

"Okay!"

Both of us walk to the piano. I let him sit and I teached him the basics of playing the piano. The parts and techniques.

"Try playing this, excuse me for a moment." I sit down next to him and played a sad but calming melody on the piano.

"Woah..."

I played this a lot when I was a kid...

"Haruka, your so good at playing the piano!"

"Thank you!" I smile at him, "Now, try playing Twinkle Twinkle. Without looking at the sheets."

"Oh okay, I'll try..." I pressed the keys then played the song without missing a key.

Kaito's PoV

I finally played it! When I finished playing, I looked at Haruka.

"You finally did it!" She cheered me and patted my back.

I stand up and hugged her, "Thaaaank youuu!!"

"Congratulations on playing your first song completely." She says as she hugged me back.

I realized that I was hugging her, I pushed her and stepped back. I looked away while covering my cheecks. I slightly blushed. What did I do?!

"Oh, its evening already.." She says as she looked out the window.

"You're right!"

She bowed,

"Thank you for taking care of me. I'll be contacting my brother to get me."

"Sure, thanks again for teaching me."

She smiled and then we head to the lobby.

"Hello? Uh, its Haruka."

[Mistress? Oh, should I call your brother?]

"Please."

[A moment please..]

[Hello?]

"Oh, Brother. Its Haruka."

[Haruka! Are you okay now?]

"Yup, sorry for worrying you."

[Its nothing~, Its a brother kind of thing. Anyway, I'll go get you now.]

She told her brother the address then she puts her phone back in her pocket.

"Well, he's coming here soon." She said while smiling.

"Yup."

"Hey, Kaito. Listen, thanks for taking care of me."

"Nah, dont worry about it."

Haruka's PoV
Kaito and I went to the front door and soon, my brother arrived.

"Bye Kaito! See you again next time!" I said while entering the car.

"Yeah, see you soon!"

I waved then I got inside the car.

Kaname started driving,

"So, what happened?" Kaito asked while driving,

"Oh, you know, the usual. Fainting from deep thoughts..."

"Good thing that someone was nice enough to take you in."

"Yeah."

"Most people now dont care. They sometimes just continue walking like there isnt a body on the ground."

"Well, the world is cruel after all."

My tab was really slow, and my acc hanged all the time. *sigh* Well, I hope you enjoyed. The nexy chapter will be out by next year-- or not. Welp, no helping it. Im lazy after all. And Im managing 3 wattpad accounts. Which is so troublesome. XD
