Welcome to Kismet Kisses—the final story in my first series, Café Amor. I'm so grateful you're still with me on this journey. I started writing on Wattpad on February 17, 2024, initially just for myself. Writing helps me express what's on my mind and keeps me sane. Pero habang umuusad ako at mas nagiging pamilyar sa mga karakter ng kuwento ko, mas lumalim din ang dahilan ko kung bakit ako nagsusulat. Now, I think I write because I need to share something... I want you to feel all the feels. Writing connects me to the world.

Kismet Kisses is a story that I've been dreading to write, which is why I saved it for last. It's a love-hate, lovers-to-enemies, plus taguan ng anak trope with a lawyer male lead. Imagine the headache? Pero syempre, dahil mahal ko ang pagsusulat at mahal ko kayo, kaya sisikapin kong iraos ito.

My writing style will change a bit as well, para mas maging katunog ni Maggie na may kalaliman mag-Tagalog noong una, but as she becomes Gail, her tone will shift too. Like my previous stories, Paper Promises and Reckless Romances, this one will also include Lance's POV, but the majority of the chapters will be narrated by Maggie/Gail.

Sa tatlong kuwento, siguro, ito ang pinaka-challenging in terms of technicality (dahil sa profession ni Lance) and vulnerability, as it follows Maggie's arc towards motherhood and freedom. Ito rin ang unang pagkakataon na susulat ako ng male lead na medyo red flag. Pero sana tapusin natin ito bago natin bitawan si Lance.

I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed brainstorming it—my first ever mystery-romance story. As always, feel free to leave any comments, but please be polite.
