You and Kirito had been training harder this time. And smiling for Yui's sake.

Both of you were in the 74th floor.
As both of you continued to walk, you noticed a large door. You froze in your place.
"(Y/n), what's wrong?" He looks at you.
"Kirito, isn't that..." You pointed at the door, and he also freezes in his place.

"Should we take a look?" You ask.
He nods. "Get ready with a teleport crystal."
You follow his orders, and held one in your hand. Kirito does the same.
Both of you slowly opened the large door. It's dark.
"I'll go first." Kirito says.
He walks further, but you grab his hand.
"Kirito, don't get too close."
"I won't..."
Suddenly, blue flames appear in the background.
You slowly watched them light up one by one until the room was bright enough.
And right before you, stood a large, blue monster.
"G-Gleam Eyes..." You say.
The blue-eyed demon roars, and the both of you started running away.
You grabbed Kirito's hand, and activated your sprint skill to dodge some attacks being launched at you.

You continued running while dragging Kirito with you until you reached the exit.
You trembled and fell to your knees, panting.
"Are you okay, Kirito?" You say in between breaths.
"I'm fine. Thanks." Kirito says, panting as hard as you.
Both of you decided to head back home.
You thought of cooking for Kirito as a reward of working hard lately.
"Kirito, I have a reward for you." You smile at him.
"Really? For what?" He asks.
"You're working hard lately. You must be pretty tired." You told him, heading to the kitchen.
"Are you gonna cook?!" He says, shouting excitedly.

You nod at him, and he smiles widely.
After a little while, you set the food on the table, and Kirito runs to sit down. You sit down as well.
'Itadakimasu!", and you digged in.
"(Y/n), you're a really good cook!" Kirito continues eating.
You continue to eat, then someone messages you.
"Eh, Asuna?" You opened the message.
It reads: "(Y/n), help! A guild is in danger. They followed you and Kirito around floor 74. Now, they're fighting The Gleam Eyes, and they lost their leader. Please, you've got to help them. I'm calling for back-up." You said out loud, and Kirito chokes while eating.
"What?! They followed us and they're battling The Gleam Eyes?!" Kirito shouts in shock.

You nod and the both of you teleport to floor 74.
"Why does this have to happen? In the middle of eating delicious food?" Kirito complains. You nudge his arm.
You got there as the whole guild have fainted.
In the corner of your eye, you saw the blue-eyed demon launching an attack to a guild member.
"No... this can't happen." You thought.
"NO!" You brought out your Elucidator and ran towards him.
"STOP IT!" You shout, blocking the strong attack.
"(Y/n)!" Kirito shouts.

You tried your best to defend the guild members.
"Get to safety!" You shout. He nods, and helps the other members up.
As you glanced over to them, you haven't noticed an attack launched at you.
You scream in pain as you were flying from the ground, thrown 200 meters away from the monster.
"(Y/n)!!!" Kirito rushes toward you, you tried to stand, but lost conscious.

A few minutes later, you woke up on Kirito's lap.
You rubbed your eyes and saw Kirito, but you remembered about the battle.
You stood without proper timing, and your legs trembled.
"K-Kirito... The Gleam Eyes..." You looked at him.
You stared at him... his health bar is red, he nearly lost his life.
"Y-your health..." You say, started tearing up.
You knew he defeated the monster for you.
He hugs you.
"It's okay, (Y/n)." You blush a bit, and you hug back.
The both of you hugged in silence.
You pulled away, opened your inventory and handed him a potion.
"Drink it." He takes it from you and drinks it.
"Arigato." he smiles.
