Chapter 4: All Might!!!

I woke up on the floor, starving. After I had gotten home last night, I remember cleaning up and getting into my pajamas but not much else. I looked up and saw the TV playing; I had fallen asleep while watching a movie probably. And by the feeling of famine in my stomach, I didn't make any dinner either.

I got ready and made some breakfast for myself. While crunching on the cereal, I scrolled through my phone, checking social media. Suddenly, a text popped up from Kirishima.

Kirishima: Hey, you wanna walk to school together?

I smiled, texting back almost instantly.

Miku: Of course! Where should I meet you?

I watched as the little "responding" bubble popped up on his side.

Kirishima: How about that street corner where we ran into each other last time? XD

I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment when I read that, but at the same time, a warm bubbly feeling was slowly taking over me.

Miku: Sounds good! I'll be there in 10 minutes and I'll be walking so no need to worry about any crash collisions lol

After I hit send on the text, I grabbed my stuff and headed for the door. No need to waste time after all! I took the stairs this time due to my sheer hatred of elevators. Plus, sliding down the railing was a fun bonus.

I forced the door open and left the lobby. The morning air felt luscious against my face and I selfishly made the breeze last a little longer by using my Quirk. The walk to that corner was pretty short, so I arrived a little early. Even so, I saw Kirishima running toward me, a huge grin on his face. I waved to him, jumping a little to make sure that he could see my small frame over the swarming business men and women.

When he finally made his way through all the bodies, he grabbed my hand, startling me. His strong grip lead me, taking me to a less crowded part of the street. "Sorry, but I was sure that if we stayed there I was going to lose you." He laughed a little and we let go of each other's hands. "Lets never do that again."

I was shocked to hear him say that; did he mean never hold hands again or never walk together again? Either was equally painful but I couldn't pinpoint why. "Would you mind me picking you up at your house?" I looked up at him quizzically, not sure if I had heard him right. "But why?"

"Not only will we be able to avoid ever going through all those people again, but it also means that I could spend a little more time with you." Kirishima's cheeks were tinged with a little pink, but he maintained eye contact with me. "Is that okay with you?"

"Y-Y-Yeah! Totally, that's fine." I tried to brush it off as no big deal, but inside I was jumping for joy.

We got to school well before the bell would ring, so we hung out in class with Kaminari and Bakugo. Soon we all found our seats and waited for Aizawa Sensei to present himself.

The day was boring; all of our classes were normal ones until after lunch. "Our next period is Hero Training! Do you think that All Might might make an appearance?" I excitedly whispered to Tsu-chan who sat in front of me. "Maybe, it would be fun if he did show up though!"

We waited in anticipation until we saw an all too familiar face pop through the door. "All Might!" Everyone in the class practically screamed his name, all of us fangirling at the sight of the number 1 hero. "Hello young students! I am here!" We all watched in awe as he swung into a cocky pose, his trademark smile plastered on his face. "Today we will do some training in the fields outside and you young students will need these!" At his command, the wall opened up, revealing 20 cases, labeled with our seat numbers. "These are your costumes! Put them on and meet me outside!"

I leaped over the desks to get to mine. I was suddenly very thankful that my student number was 3 because that case was close to the bottom. If I had been one or even two, I would have had to use my Quirk or get someone else to help me. But, luckily, I was able to grab mine and get to the changing room quickly.

I walked out to the training arena and stretched out my arms, letting the sun warm my entire body. My costume was a skintight, sleeveless top with a sweetheart neckline. It was white and had sliver ribbons lacing down the back. I had a sunny yellow miniskirt that was so short and skimpy that if I moved, the lining of the skirt would almost defiantly show. My brown leather boots came up to my knees and they had soft, white fur on top to mimic the look of an aviator jacket. There were small pouches on the sides for where my throwing knives were and the boots themselves had metal plated tips since kicking would be an important movement for me. But, my best weapon was the fabric strips that I had laced up my arms and hands. They were like Aizawa Sensei's weapon and I was so excited to try them out because they would work incredibly well with my Quirk. I had also asked for a couple additions to the fabric, but I would have to wait until battle to see if the support group could comply. As a whole, my costume was certainly more flirty than what I had asked for, but it seemed to meet all my needs; it was light, aerodynamic, and had all the weapons that I requested so maybe the look would give me more attention as a hero.

I looked at all my classmates in their costumes. Most of the girls had some kind of skintight costume on as well, so obviously the costume company thought that this would help us in the long run... Or they were just perverts. As for the guys in my class, their costumes were all over the board. I looked around for Kirishima or Bakugo or Kaminari to no avail. I walked over to talk to Ochako-chan, but she was already talking with Midoriya. However, when she saw me, she kindly smiled and began to include me in the conversation.

After a few minutes of talking with them, I had been properly introduced to Midoriya and Iida (his costume was so cool...). I continued to chat with them until All Might came up in front of all of us. "Students! Today we will be conducting two on two team battles! One team will play as the heroes and the other team will play as the villains. The villains will be guarding a weapon of destruction and the heroes must find it! I will be drawing lots to see who your battle partners are!"

After drawing lots, I was matched with a boy named Aoyama, and we were pitted against Kirishima and Sero. I was a little disappointed that Kirishima and I couldn't be on the same team, but I was excited to start nevertheless. The first match up was Midoriya and Ochako as heroes against Bakugo and Iida as villains. The rest of us were taken to another room where we could watch the fight on cameras.

In the room, I found Kirishima in his costume. My heart skipped a beat when he turned toward me. His chest was completely exposed, revealing his rippling muscles. Thankfully the darkness of the room made my overt blushing more discrete. I tugged on the ends of my pigtails and shyly glanced away, shifting a little.

Kirishima approached me before the fight started. "Hey, sorry I didn't find you earlier. I was talking with Bakugo and I didn't see you." Even though, I'm sure he didn't mean to be rude, I could see his eyes running up and down my body. "Umm... I-I really like your costume..." Kirishima's words were shaky and his cheeks and ears were the color of his hair.

I giggled nervously. "Thanks... I really like yours too. It's very manly!" I pumped a fist into the air and jumped a little. Kirishima brightened immediately when I said this. "Really?! That's what I was going for after all!"

"Yeah, it makes you look tough." I reached out to touch his shoulder guards, eyes wide just like a little kid. He just laughed and that's when we heard the sound of the match starting.

I hurried to get a spot close to the huge screen. Kirishima stood right next to me as the horrifying match began. There were several times when I had to hide my face in my hands because the scene was too terrible to watch. It ended with Midoriya going to the infirmary again and the heroes winning. I couldn't even look at Bakugo; my heart was still pounding from his violent attacks. "I'll talk to him later... Something wasn't right about that match." I watched the next couple, my nerves steadily building. Part of me didn't want to fight Kirishima, but at the same time, I was practically bubbling over with anticipation.

After Todoroki and Shoji beat Ojiro and Toru in a landslide, it was time for my fight. I wrung my hands out nervously and began to head to the arena. Before I left, Kirishima grabbed my shoulder. "I look forward to our fight. Don't hold back okay? Promise me Miku." The look in his red eyes was so intense that most people would have been scared, but it just got me even more hyped.

"Don't worry Kirishima. I don't plan on losing so you better bring it as well!" I flashed a quick smile before dashing toward the starting zone.

My heart was pounding as Aoyama and I rushed into the building. I began to send small breezes down each corridor, trying to figure this maze of a building and where the "villains" were. After a couple minutes of doing so, I had created a mental map of the building and knew where the weapon was.

"Okay, I know where the weapon is, but they're both guarding it completely. I doubt that they'll come to us anytime soon. We'll have to split them up."

"I make a great distraction! So twinkly!" Aoyama held up his flamboyant cape with pride. And that's when I got the idea. "I got it! Here's the plan..." I began to whisper into Aoyama's ear, explaining every detail. Aoyama would follow my directions and go straight to the room with the weapon in a direct confrontation. I would sneak outside and fly up to the proper window, waiting for Aoyama to have their complete attention. Once he did, I would break the window and seize the weapon.

"But, won't they notice that you're missing?" Aoyama asked before leaving toward the room. "Of course they will. That's why you need to fight hard enough so they don't get that chance." He nodded and that's when we split ways.

I kicked out one of the windows and stealthily flew along the side, trying to figure out which window was the correct one. Suddenly I saw a sparkly beam shatter a window and a smile traced my lips. "Aoyama, what a great strategy! To unsuspectingly break the window for me not only as a signal, but as my way in too!" I carefully peered through the broken glass; Aoyama held the attention of both Sero and Kirishima for the moment being.

"Now's my chance!" I stealthily jumped in, being careful that none of my exposed skin got cut on the glass shards. Crawling on the floor I inched toward the weapon, keeping a sharp eye on my teammate and his enemies. However, one of Aoyama's beams shot dangerously close to my face, blinding me for a moment and causing me to let out a small cry.

I felt eyes fall on me. "Dammit! My cover's blown!" Still unable to see completely, I dashed for the weapon. Not expecting to get there in this state, I wasn't surprised when I felt a piece of Sero's tape wrap around my waist. Yet, as soon as the tape stopped me, I felt the tension break.

"Go forth! We must win!" Aoyama had shot his beam and broken the tape for me. "Thanks Aoyama!" My vision had come back completely by now and I took off toward the ceiling, hoping that it'd be harder for them to catch me from the air. I had barely left the ground when someone grabbed my ankle.

"You aren't going anywhere!" Kirishima pulled me back and into his arms. In no time, his strength overpowered mine and I was pinned on the ground. His face was inches from mine, and I could see sweat running down his brow. My heart rate began to escalate as I not only realized how much time was left, but also the fact that I could feel Kirishima's hot breaths against my neck.

"Kirishima, get off of me." I gave a weak attempt of intimidation, but even I didn't believe myself. I mean, how scary could a girl in pigtails and a miniskirt be? Kirishima smiled kindly at me while pulling out his capture tape. "I'm sorry Miku. I don't enjoy losing." I watched him hold the tape and rip it with his mouth to keep his hold on me. However, all I needed was this slight off balance for me to escape. I summoned a quick burst of wind that surprised Kirishima and caused him to lose his grip.

Kirishima fell forward just as I was trying to get up, causing him to land on me. The entire battle stopped as Sero and Aoyama paused to gawk at Kirishima who had his face against my chest. Silence rang out in the battle field; I was still in shock like everyone else.

Kirishima was the first to react, quickly pulling his face out of my breasts. He was completely flushed, shame lurking in his eyes. "Miku... I-" As Kirishima tried to apologize, I turned and ran. "I'm sorry Kirishima, but this is my chance!" I sprinted toward the weapon, quickly seizing it.

"HERO TEAM WINS!" All Might shouted over the intercom, signalling the end of the battle. I looked back at Kirishima and gave him a shy smile. "Don't worry about it Kirishima, stuff happens." He averted his eyes with obvious embarrassment, but at least there was a small grin growing on his lips. "And plus! I won!" I stuck out my tongue with a little wink.

"Not next time though!" He jumped up and began to run after me. He chased me all the way down the floors. I thought that I had lost him after dashing through a couple of empty hallways, but as soon as I stopped to peer around a corner, a pair of hands slipped around my waist.

"Ah!" I let out a small scream of surprise and Kirishima laughed while playfully pulling me a little closer to him. The movement put me right against his bare chest and his mouth next to my ear. I could hear each breath he took, all of them a little forced as we both fought against slight fatigue. The heat of his body penetrated my thin costume, making me painfully aware of how skimpy my outfit was. "Why is my heart beating so fast? What is this feeling?" But before I could figure it out, Kirishima let me go. "We should probably get back to the control room soon. I think that Sero and Aoyama left already."

"You're right," I agreed quietly, trying to keep the breathlessness out of my voice. We went back together, chatting along the way.

The rest of the day was spent reviewing the results of our battles. Midoriya came back from the infirmary mostly healed, which was a relief. However, he went to go after Bakugo, who had run off somewhere. "I'm going to make sure that he's okay tomorrow..." Despite having a great day, I was glad to go home. When the bell rang, I practically dashed out of the building. It was funny how I worked so hard to get into this school, yet the key aspect of wanting to leave stayed the same.

"Miku! Wait up!" I turned around to see Kirishima sprinting toward me. "What are you doing?" I tilted my head a little to the side when I saw him coming. "Don't you want me to walk you home?" My heart skipped a beat when he said that.

"YES! YES I DO!" I almost blushed at my own overt thinking. Instead I smirked and flicked one of the spikes in his hair. "I feel like you want to walk me home."

"Aww, you caught me!" He let out a chuckle and put his arms behind his head. "But I can, right?" I could feel my cheeks heating up after such a sweet confession. "I guess..." I smiled a little and we started to leave school.

The walk home was blissful; it was almost painful to see him leave. "Okay, so I'll come here tomorrow morning." Kirishima looked around in the lobby before giving me a quick hug. I felt my ears and face turn warm as he waved to me. "See ya Miku!"

"Bye!" I could barely squeak out my response before he left, still in a daze over what had happened. I walked to my apartment in a stupor; I could still feel the warmth from Kirishima's body on my arms. However, the coldness of my house stole it away. Silence filled the rooms and hallways.

I walked out onto the balcony, trying to connect myself to the outside world, but it only made me realize how alone I felt yet again. "Kirishima... I need one more hug."
