"I hope Core Kabula would teach him a hard lesson," Susie said after she finished collecting the reports. "And if she has time, getting Tiff would also be very convenient for me."

"Is someone talking about me behind my back?" Tiff asked.

"Why?" Tuff asked. 

"My ear itches," Tiff said as she scratched the inside of her ear canal. 

"I wouldn't be surprised if someone is," Tuff said. "You're always a pain-in-the-butt."

"GAAAAHHHHH!!!" Dedede screamed as he pressed on the gas pedal so hard that he nearly glided through the the road while Gordos were following after him. 

"Was that his majesty that just drove off?" Tuggle asked. 

"Who cares? It's none of my business anymore," Escargoon answered as he continued to mop the floor. 

"What are things that are chasing him?" Tuggle asked. "They look like a large steel ball with steel spikes."

"They're probably called 'karma'," Escargoon said as he placed the mop on the wringer, squeezed all the water out, wet the mop again, and continued to mop the floor. 

Normally, citizens of Cappy Town would freak out about the large scary-looking airship and large scary-looking spike balls, but since none of them were chasing any of them, they did not care. In fact, they were really happy that the ones that they were chasing was Dedede. 

"I wonder what he did for an airship and the spike balls to chase after him," Mayor Len Blustergas said. 

"The real question is, which one?" Hana asked. 

"It's about time someone punished him," Chief Bookem said. 

"Didn't you arrest him once?" Buttercup said. 

"Serves him right," Samo said. 

"I predict that he will be punished greatly," Mabel said. 

"Why is it so peaceful in the castle today?" Tiff asked as she was walking around the castle. 

"It's because Dedede's not here," Tuff said. 

"How do you know?" Tiff asked. 

"One of my viewers said that he's been driving around Cappy Town with an airship and steel balls after him," Tuff said. 

"Oh," Tiff said as she cared less about it. "Let's go to Tuggle's store to buy some ice cream and see how Escargoon's doing."

"Let's go!" Tuff said. 

"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby cheered. 

"Hold on," Meta Knight said as he appeared in front of them, hanging upside down. 

"Gah!!" Tiff and Tuff flinched. 

"What brings you here, Meta Knight?" Tiff asked.

"That's Core Kabula," Meta Knight said. 

"Core Kabula?" Tiff and Tuff asked. 

"It's a destructive airship," Sword Knight added. 

"That thing can cause a great damage to the town again," Meta Knight added. 

"Experia stupefia," Blade Knight said. 

"He's right," Sword Knight said. 

"So? They're not attacking us," Tuff said. 

"They're from Haltmann Works Company," Meta Knight said. 

"Let's go destroy it!" Tiff said. 

"Why did you change your mind all of a sudden?" Tuff asked. 

"Susie might use it to destroy me after she destroys Dedede with it!" Tiff said. "Come on! Let's go! Chop chop! We don't have much time!!" 

"This is the most violent rivalry I've ever seen," Tuff said. 

"Agreed," Meta Knight said. 

"Yeah. When they first had their physical fight. Oof," Sword Knight said. 

"Kumandra raya," Blade Knight said. 

"You can say that again," Meta Knight and Sword Knight said. 

"Poyo?" Kirby said. 

"But where could he be?" Tiff asked. 

"I placed a tracker in the car," Meta Knight said. "He should be found in no time. Let's go." 

"Since when did you put a tracker in the car?" Tiff asked. 

"Not long ago," Meta Knight said. 

"He's always conveniently prepared for whatever might happen..." Tuff said. "Scares me..."

"Trust me, even we're not used to it," Sword Knight said. 

"Blight," Blade Knight said.

The sun was setting down as it exerted warm, comforting orange light. Normally, it would be peaceful, but there was a fat penguin screaming across the road as the gas engine roared. "GAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Dedede was still screaming as Gordos and Core Kabula were still following him. 

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!

The car started to beep as there was no gas left in the engine. "Uh oh..." Dedede said to himself as the car stopped. He had to act quick. He quickly jumped out of the car and continued to run away from Gordos and Core Kabula. While running, he tripped over a rock, rolled along the road, and landed flat on his face. "Ow..." Dedede groaned as he lifted his face up with bloody nose. 

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!!

Gordos bounced off the road as they target Dedede. Dedede covered his head with his hands and shivered as he was about to face his doom. 

Just then, the Robobot Armor fist glided and punched the Gordos into pieces. "Say wut??" Dedede asked as he looked up. 

"Kirby! Try scanning Core Kabula!" Meta Knight said in his car along with everyone else.  

"Poyo!" Kirby answered and it transformed into Jet Mode. 

"It's Jet Mode armor!" Tiff exclaimed.

"That's so cool!" Tuff said. Kirby glided towards Core Kabula to finish her off. "Kirby should transform into that mode often. It looks really cool!" 

"Poyo!" Kirby exclaimed as he faced Core Kabula. 

Core Kabula shot Gordos to Kirby. 

"Get em, Kirbay!!!" Dedede cheered. 

"You should be lucky Kirby is saving your butt even though it was you who screwed up!" Tiff said. 

Kirby shot missiles at Core Kabula at the same time Core Kabula shot Gordos at Kirby. They were both hit and crashed against the ground simultaneously, but Core Kabula was damaged a lot more. Instead of standing back up, Kirby shot the missiles once more after locking the target at Core Kabula. The missiles whooshed through the air and crashed against Core Kabula, causing large, bright explosions that was brighter than the sunset, but the dark smoke covered the majority of it. Core Kabula was destroyed into pieces, but the Gordos were still there that were still stomping on Kirby and the Robobot Armor. 

"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby grunted as the Gordos continued to smash down on him. Meta Knight quickly glided with Galaxia on his hand, and sliced of one of the Gordos in half. Gordo stopped attacking Kirby and targeted Meta Knight, who was in the direction of where Dedede was.  

"Sire! Take this!" Meta Knight said as he dropped Dedede's mallet in front of him. 

"MA TURN!" Dedede exclaimed as he swung his mallet against the last Gordo and smashed him into powder. "Hey~ dat wasn't so bad!!" 

"All right, now let's go back since the things have been taken care of," Tiff said. 

"Right. It's getting late," Meta Knight said. 

"Hey, dis car is outta gas!" Dedede exclaimed. 

"Oy..." Meta Knight groaned. He took the chain out of his trunk, hooked it on Dedede's car, and drove back to Cappy Town.

It was nighttime by the time they defeated Core Kabula and almost returned to the castle. Escargoon was at Samo's bar for his night shift. He sighed as he was washing the cups. 

"What's wrong, Escargoon?" Samo asked. 

"I really miss someone at the castle..." Escargoon said. 

"You do...?" Samo asked. "I thought you didn't have a good relationship with his majesty." 

"It's not his majesty," Escargoon said. "There is a girl I really miss... I want to talk to her once more."

"Why don't you go back to the castle and talk to her while his majesty is not there?" Samo suggested. "I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to talk to that girl!" 

"Maybe I should!" Escargoon said. "Right after this shift. I have twenty minutes left..."

After his shift, Escargoon quickly headed to the castle while Dedede was still not there. He skipped into Dedede's throne room, and connected to Susie.

"What do you wa- oh, it's you, Sir Escargoon," Susie said. 

"Hey, Susie! How have you been?" Escargoon asked. 

"I'm fine," Susie said. "How may I help you?" 

"I just wanted to talk to you because I didn't get to talk to you because I quit," Escargoon said. 

"If you don't need any help, may I be excused?" Susie asked. 

"Aw, come on! Can we please talk for a moment? Pleeeeaaaaseeeee?" Escargoon pleaded with sparkly eyes. 

"I knew I should've gotten out after 8 PM..." Susie said under her breath. Then she continued, "What do you want to talk about?" 

"I've been really happy with my new jobs!" Escargoon said. "So much better than working here."

"Good," Susie said with an uninterested voice and facial expression. 

"I feel like I'm living my life now!" Escargoon said. 

"Uh-huh," Susie said with an uninterested voice and facial expression.

"Speaking of which, where is his majesty?" Escargoon asked. 

"He's probably running away from the monster I sent to attack," Susie said. 

"Oh good!" Escargoon cheered. 

"Yeah, he will be damaged to the point he won't be able to move for the next few months or so," Susie said. 

"Uh, is that really necessary?" Escargoon asked. 

"What do you mean?" Susie asked. 

"Even though he treated me that way... it seems a little harsh," Escargoon said. 

"Why do you care? He was abusive to you," Susie said.

"That's why I don't want that to happen to anyone else," Escargoon said. 

"Wow... an abuse can really do something to someone," Susie said. 

"Could you possibly stop the attack?" Escargoon asked. 

"Even so, he never pays for his fees so I'm making him regret his actions," Susie said. 

"Well..." Escargoon didn't know how to react, but he turned away as he said, "Wait a moment here, please?" Susie wondered where he went. "Here, I'll pay," Escargoon said as he returned with large sacks of money. "This should be 8,000,000 D-bills. The rest is your tip!" Escargoon sent the money over to Susie.  

"That's odd," Susie said. "You wouldn't help Dedede after you quit after he abused you years after years."

"It's his money," Escargoon said. "I still know the combination. Here."

"Thanks," Susie said. 

"And... one more thing?" Escargoon asked.

"What is it?" Susie asked. 

"Now could you maybe, stop attacking him...?" Escargoon asked. 

"Why?" Susie asked. "Why do you want to protect him even after what he's done to you?" 

"Just because he abused me after all this time, it doesn't mean you have to pay him back," Escargoon said. "Revenge is really not worth it... it's just better to disconnect that person out of your life and let karma take care of it."

"Oh, I didn't do it to get your revenge," Susie explained. "I did it because he was 8,000,000 D-bills in debt." 

"Oh, I thought you did it for me... never mind," Escargoon said. 

"Thanks for paying but, I still don't know..." Susie said. 

"Come on, Susie," Escargoon begged. "Please stop the attack. Pleeeease? For me?" 

"Fiiiiine," Susie said. She pressed the return button to bring Core Kabula back. "Huh?" Susie asked herself as nothing reacted. "That's weird..."

"What's wrong?" Escargoon asked.

"Core Kabula isn't returning, what is going on...?" Susie asked herself. 

"That's because we destroyed it!" Dedede bellowed as everyone burst in. After he said that Tiff, Tuff, Meta Knight, Sword Knight, and Blade Knight glared at him. Kirby was just facing him just like everyone else, but he was not glaring, just looking. "Fine! Kirby destroyed it!" 

"Darn..." Susie said. 

"Escargoon!" Dedede ran towards him happily with his arms wide open to go hug him. 

"No! Get away from me!" Escargoon said. "I still don't want to work with you!" 

"Escargoon! Please, come back! I beg ya!" Dedede said. 

"Why would I want to work with you after you mistreated me all these years?" Escargoon asked as he crossed his arms and faced away from him. 

"Escargoon... I'm really sorry..." Dedede said. 

This was the sincerest apology Dedede has ever made. It was so shocking that Susie, Tiff, Tuff, Meta Knight, Sword Knight, and Blade Knight all stared at him with each of their surprised look across their faces. Kirby, again, was just Kirby, so he was just looking at him with his normal expression. Escargoon was the most shocked out of all of them. He looked back at him and asked, "What did you say to me...?" 

"I'm really sorry..." Dedede said. "Evah since ya left, it's been real hard... I'm sorry for the way I treated you... I hope ya can work here again..."

Escargoon thought for a moment. "Sire, I appreciate and thank you for apologizing. But... I'm really happy where I am..."

"But-" Dedede said but Susie interrupted him.

"Your majesty?" Susie interrupted him. When Dedede faced her, she shook her head. 

"All right..." Dedede said with some disappointment. "Good luck..." He walked away to head back to bed after a long day. Everyone stood in silence. Everyone except Kirby pinched themselves to see if they were dreaming or not. Surely, it was not a dream.

"I'm just... I'm just gonna go..." Susie said and disconnected. 

"I'll see you at Tuggle's store tomorrow," Tuff said. 

"Okay," Escargoon said. 

"Let's go, Kirby," Meta Knight said. 

"Poyo?" Kirby asked.
