The race has started.

Dedede and Escargoon were in lead. "Heh-heh-heh! The gold trophy is mine!" Dedede screamed in joy as he cheered loudly. 

"Careful, sire! You're about to make me turn the wrong way!" Escargoon screamed in fear as he was receiving hits from Dedede's excitement.

Meta Knight was running right after Dedede and Escargoon. "Just make sure that he does not do anything to Kirby," Meta Knight said to himself quietly as he drove. "Or worse, if Susie set any booby traps inside any parts of this track..."

Kirby was slowly catching up to Meta Knight. "Poyo, poyo!" Kirby was taking his sweet time.

Mayor took his time to not make sharp turns. "Ah! Faster, honey! We're way behind!" Hana scolded to Mayor.

"I'm trying to be safe so that I don't hurt you and this car!" Mayor defended himself from his wife's scoldings. 

Meanwhile, at the racers' station, Waddle Dees, Sword Knight, Blade Knight, Tiff, Tuff, Fololo, Falala, and Gus were standing by to repair or give some energy to the racers. Tiff was still suspicious. "There's gotta be something wrong, this whole thing is set by Susie!"

"Will you calm down? Nothing happened just yet!" Tuff said.

"Just you wait, we can't let our guard down," Tiff said.

"Looks like the mayor is not gonna get the gold trophy this time," Gus said.

After everyone passed the first lap, Susie announced, "It looks like every racers have finished their first out of seven laps! The lead is King Dedede and Escargoon, the second is Meta Knight, the third is Kirby, and last is the mayor!" 

Everyone cheered for all the racers except Dedede and Escargoon.

Susie turned off the mic and said, "Just you wait Kirby, there is a booby trap set just for you!" After Meta Knight has surpassed Dedede and Escargoon, Susie turned the mic back on and said, "Oh?! Look at that! Meta Knight has just took the lead!"

"Whachu doin', Escargoon?! Step on it!!" Dedede demanded. 

"I know, sire!" Escargoon screamed back. Escargoon stepped on the gas harder, which made them go little front of Meta Knight. But Meta Knight catched up on them again, then Dedede and Escargoon, then back and forth.

"Oh, it looks like there is a struggle between Meta Knight versus Dedede and Escargoon! We cannot tell who is keep in the lead!" Susie announced. I won't let Meta Knight win! You'll be in the same fate as Kirby! Just the way I planned!

Just then, Kirby passed Dedede and Escargoon. The cheer was louder as Kirby advanced forward.

"Whoa! Looks like Kirby has joined the competition to take the lead! The odds of racers of getting that gold trophy has been deducted!" Susie announced. But you Star Warriors will not have a chance to even lay your hands on the gold trophy! Muahahahahaha! Susie thought, then she heard the crowd cheer. Whew! That was good announcing right?

"Ya not gonna get a chance, ya pink fluff!" Dedede exclaimed. "Step on it, clam face!" Dedede demanded to Escargoon.

"Right on!" Escargoon said as he stepped on the gas harder. 

"No you won't," Meta Knight said under his breath and slightly bumped into Dedede's car on the side. This caused them to slide to the side.

"Yo! Meta Knight! Whachu think you're doin?!" Dedede said as they slid to their side.

"That's cheating!" Escargoon said.

As they were complaining, about Meta Knight getting in their way, Mayor passed right them steadily. "See you later your majesty~" Mayor said as he passed by.

"Yo! Ya don't get tuh pass meh!" Dedede said. Before he demanded Escargoon to step on the gas, Escargoon pressed hard on the gas, quickly passing the Mayor. "Heh! Losah!" He said as he stuck his tongue out to Mayor. Mayor was determined to be in first place again. He stepped on the gas to go much faster, but his car couldn't keep up with Dedede's car. But then, Escargoon made a sudden turn that made the car spin. This allowed Mayor to pass them.

Every racers have passed the second lap. "All the racers are on their final lap, and it looks like the places have changed, ladies and gentlemen!" Susie announced. "It looks like Meta Knight is in lead! Then it is Kirby! Then it is the Mayor! Then it is King Dedede" No!! His majesty is running last! More importantly, I cannot let Meta Knight and Kirby take the first two places! Susie thought. But I knew this would happen, so I set this up! Susie turned off the mic, and evilly chuckled. She prepared herself to press the button that had the picture of spiny blue shell with wings. 

Wait for it...

Kirby was catching up to Meta Knight. They were both far away from Dedede.

Wait for it...

Kirby took the lead.

"Well it looks like Kirby is taking the lead!" Susie announced. Every cappies cheered. Now's the time! She pressed the button. Dedede's car's trunk opened. Dedede winked at the camera. Susie winked back. 

"Wait, what is that?" One cappy asked as he pointed at the flying spiny blue shell.

"Where is that going to?" The other cappy asked.

"It came from Dedede's car!" The other cappy noted. 

The spiny flying shell approached to Kirby as Kirby was in the lead. Meta Knight sensed the danger going towards Kirby. Meta Knight quickly and aggressively hit Kirby's car. 

"What is Meta Knight doing?" The cappies asked.

"Meta Knight?! How can he?" Tiff asked as she saw what Meta Knight was doing. As Meta Knight took in place for Kirby, the spiny flying blue shell hit him instead. However, the force of the spiny flying blue shell was so strong that it also hit Kirby. Their cars were smashed into pieces. Every cappies gasped by the effects of the spiny flying blue shell. 

Dedede laughed hysterically as he passed by Meta Knight and Kirby and screamed, "The gold trophy is MINE! Heh-heh-heh-heh!"

Susie evilly grinned and thought, Take that, you pathetic Star Warriors!

Blade Knight, Sword Knight, and Gus quickly came in to get them a new racecar. "Get him the Robobot Armor," Meta Knight whispered to Sword and Blade Knight. And they activated the Robobot Armor so that it can go to Kirby. As Gus brought in new cart for Meta Knight, the Robobot Armor also arrived. "Kirby, scan the wheel of the cart!" Meta Knight said.

"Poyo!" Kirby responded as he pressed the button to scan. The Robobot Armor turned into Wheel Mode Armor.

"Wheel mode!" Tiff said as she watched the Robobot Armor. Every cappies cheered as Kirby's Robobot Armor changed its form. 

What?! Susie thought as she watched the whole transformation of Robobot Armor.

"Let's do this, Kirby!" Meta Knight said as he got on the new cart.

"Poyo!" Kirby responded. They both stepped on gas, and they decided to stick together. 

Dedede was sure that he was going to win the gold trophy, until he heard a cart accelerating behind him. "Say what?!" Dedede yelped as he watched Kirby and Meta Knight approaching to him in a blink of an eye. He signaled Susie to shoot more spiny shells. Susie received the signal and pressed the spiny shell button repeatedly. Five shells flew to Kirby and Meta Knight. 

"Kirby! Keep the shield on!" Meta Knight said.

"Poyo!" Kirby responded as he pressed the button to put of a protective force field around him and Meta Knight. All the five spiny shells struck Kirby's force field with all force, but it did not even leave a scratch on Robobot Armor nor on Meta Knight's cart. 

"What'z dis?!" Dedede screamed in disbelief. The Robobot Armor accelerated to Dedede's cart, hitting him with all might and his cart flew back. He was so high up that even Mayor passed him.

This can't be happening! Susie said as she activated a mine in the middle of the track. No one was able to see it because it was buried underground. The Robobot Armor easily passed through the mine explosion. The mayor had to slow down because the explosion caused a huge dust storm that blocked his vision. Dedede just saw the mine explosion as he and the car landed. 

"Heh-heh-heh! Looks like Kirby got some hot treat!" Dedede said.

"I don't think I can drive anymore," Escargoon groaned as he ached allover. 

Kirby and Meta Knight were close to the finish line. As they were both close, Meta Knight gently stepped on the breaks, letting Kirby easily pass through the finish line first.

"Looks like we have a winner here! Kirby is first place, and Meta Knight is second place!" Susie announced. Cappies joyfully cheered. Cheering for those bane of my existence! Hmph! Susie thought as she was boiling on the inside.

Kirby got the gold trophy, Meta Knight received the silver trophy, and the mayor received the bronze trophy.

"It's still good, isn't it dear?" The Mayor asked Hana.

"It sure is," Hana replied with satisfaction.

"Meta Knight, you knew Susie planned this all along?" Tiff asked Meta Knight.

"Of course," Meta Knight responded.

"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby jumped arouind with his new gold trophy.

"Congratulations, Kirby!" Tiff congratulated Kirby,

"Grrrrrr-aaaaaah!" Dedede screamed in rage and jealousy.

"Never... again..." Escargoon said.
