Curious and adventurous, Dyna chick always likes to wander off its nest... without letting its mother know. Dyna Chick likes to go roll around in the grassy plain. Now that it's used to being out most of the time, it knows where Kirby and Tokkori lives. He likes to knock on the door with its beak and wait for Kirby to open the door for it, and gets disappointed if Tokkori opens the door, and even more disappointed when Kirby's not home. That's what happened today.

"Hey, you're Dyna Blade's chick!" Tokkori said. "Well your pink ball friend isn't here right now! So scram!" Then he shut the door at him to watch more Channel DDD. Dyna Chick sadly whimpered and walked away from Kirby's house. It wanted to look for Kirby because it wanted to play. It's fun playing with Kirby. Plus, he gives bananas to eat while playing with him. It started to head to Cappy Town to find Kirby.

Meanwhile, Kirby was happily eating some leftover dumplings at Kawasaki's place. "Poyo! Poyo!"

"I'm glad you like my cooking, Kirby!" Kawasaki said as he came out of the kitchen as he wiped his hands with a towel. "There's always extra dough and stuffing so might as well cook all of them and let you take care of it."

"Poyo!" Kirby happily replied.

Kawasaki cleared his empty plate away. "Bye, Kirby! See you next time!"

"Poyo!" Kirby waved good-bye and exited the restaurant. As soon as he stepped out, he bumped into something. "Poyo..." Kirby groaned as he slightly rubbed his head to relieve the pain. When he finally gathered his thoughts, he realized he bumped into Dyna Chick.

"Poyo!" Kirby greeted happily.

"Bokow!" Dyna Chick greeted back happily. Then his stomach started to growl. "Bow, kow," Dyna Chick wanted to eat as it put its wings over its stomach.

Kirby would usually take him to the beach so that he can pick bananas for him. But several days ago, the bananas weren't there anymore, and it needed time to grow. But the he remembered Whispy Woods have a lot of apples to eat. "Poyo!" He led Dyna Chick to Whispy Woods to play with him for today.

"Tokkori," Tiff said in front of Kirby's house. "Do you know where Kirby went?"

"He wasn't there when I woke up," Tokkori replied. "And Dyna Chick came by to look for him too."

"Dyna Chick?" Tuff asked. "It was here?"

"Yeah, and I told it to scram so I can watch some TV," Tokkori said proudly.

"Oh, no," Tiff said anxiously. "What if Dyna Blade starts to panic when its chick is not in the nest?"

"We better go find them or else the whole town will be a mess!" Tuff said. They both ran out of Kirby's house to find Dyna Chick.

"YO, ESCARGOON! WHERE YOU AT, YA SLUG FACE?!" Dedede screamed in his room.

"Yes, sire!" Escargoon rushed in after King's violent screaming. "What happened, sire?!"

"What is that thing?!" Dedede screamed as he pointed at the container full of strange black liquid, a bit taller than Dedede, leaning against his throne.

"That's oil sire," Escargoon said. "Susie gave us for sample so that we can use it on rusty things. We might need it in case we order a robot of some sort."

"Whatchu talkin 'bout?!" Dedede asked.

"Well sire," Escargoon explained. "Kirby is used to fighting so much monsters, but not really robots. So we can fight him with robots."

"Yeah?! But what about the time he got Masher?! He smashed that thing in the end!" Dedede ranted.

"Hmm, for once his brain is actually working," Escargoon said to himself quietly.

"Whatchu say?!" Dedede asked.

"Nothing, sire!" Escargoon replied immediately, denying that he just insulted King Dedede.

"Well, then we better get the robot!" Dedede said. He sat on the throne to order a robot.

"Well, good afternoon, your majesty," Susie greeted. "Ready to try out the oil I gave you as a sample?"

"Yeah! Just give me some!" Dedede demanded.

"Well, which one would you like?" Susie asked calmly. She was used to Dedede's rant now.

"I dunno!" Dedede said. "Recommend me some!"

"Well, what about Tracker 101?" Susie said as she showed the picture on the catalog. It looked like a bowling ball. "I programmed it to target Kirby. When he finds Kirby, it will start attacking with its spikes. They stick out, and they shoot. How does that sound?"

"Oh yeah? How much is that?!" Dedede asked.

"Won't cost you a lot," Susie said. "Around 40,000 D-bills. Is the price attractive enough?"

"More than attractive!" Dedede laughed. "Send it to me right away!"

"Right on, your majesty," Susie said. The transporter started to light up, spark, and released Tracker 101. "By the way sire, the oil-" She got cut off. Off-screen, she continued, "I will start charging you on the second oil container."

Meanwhile, Kirby led Dyna Chick to Whispy Woods.

"Hello, Kirby," Whispy Woods greeted with a warm smile. "And it looks like you brought a friend. Looks like a baby bird."

"Poyo!" Kirby said.

"Lucky for you, Kirby," Whispy Woods said. "I have so many apples for you to eat today. Help yourself!"

"Poyo!" Kirby excitedly cheered and climbed up. "Poyo, poyo!" He called Dyna Chick to climb up, but Dyna Chick couldn't fly. So Kirby grabbed few apples, jumped down, and fed them to Dyna Chick.

"Gra! Grak!" Dyna Chick happily said, being full after swallowing few apples that Kirby brought down for it. Kirby thought for a moment. It was now time for Dyna Chick to learn to fly.

"Poyo," Kirby started his lecture. "Poyo, poyo, poyo!" He communicated to Dyna Chick to start its flying lesson.

He decided to take it slow, and start off from the ground. Kirby bloated, flattered its hands to show how to fly, and then landed after flying for few seconds. Dyna Chick immediately tried to imitate Kirby, but without the bloating part. It jumped, flattered its wings, but it couldn't fly for even a second. "Gow..." it was disappointed when it couldn't fly the first time.

"Poyo," Kirby soothed it and encouraged it to try harder.

Dyna Chick jumped and flattered its wings. It didn't work the second time either. It just kept on flattering its wings until it was able to fly for few seconds or so, which took about forty three tries.

"Poyo!" Kirby clapped and helped it move onto next level. This time, he showed him to fly higher, then how to fly further. After about an hour practicing, Dyna Chick was able to fly to the top of Whispy Wood. The lesson moved on. This time, he started on top of Whispy Wood, and taught him how to land slowly. Kirby went down so that he can catch Dyna Chick when it accelerates while falling. After practicing for few times, it didn't improve on landing slowly, but instead, Dyna Chick got sore wings. Kirby massaged it gently and let him take a break for a moment as he gave him some apples to eat from Whispy Wood.

"Kirby, you sure are a great teacher," Whispy Wood complimented Kirby as he watched Kirby giving lesson for this whole time.

"Poyo," Kirby rubbed the back of his head.

"Kirby! Dyna Chick!" Tuff, Iroo, and Spikehead called as she walked around Cappy Town. Tiff asked almost everyone in Cappy Town.

They met again at the tree. "Any luck?" Tiff asked. All the answers were no. Tiff sighed and thought for a moment. "Let's go to the beach. That's where they usually play!"

"Right!" They all said. Then suddenly, a bowling ball came at them. They all looked at it with confusion. After the bowling ball, which was really Tracker 101, scanned them, and rolled off. "What was that?" Tuff asked.

"No time to question about that ball," Tiff said. "We gotta go find Dyna Chick before it's too late!"

Then they heard something screech in the sky. The screech that they didn't want to hear. "DYNA BLADE!"

Dyna Blade was panicking because its baby was not in the nest. She angrily screeched, flapped its wings to make a forceful wind, and quickly soared above everyone to attack them. Thankfully, since Cappy Town was rebuilt much stronger, the buildings were able to withstand the force of the wind created by Dyna Blade, but copies were still flying around uncontrollably.

"Oh, Kirby, Dyna Chick, where are you?!" Tiff asked desperately as she was trying to overcome the strength of the wind.

Kirby and Dyna Chick had no idea that Dyna Blade was causing chaos in Cappy Town. By now, Dyna Chick was able to fly by itself, though it had to flap its wings so many times. He tried to fly in circle. It was not a perfect circle, but it managed to fly very well for learning how to fly on its very first day. Kirby cheered from the ground. Suddenly, a bowling-ball-looking-thing struck Kirby with such force. Dyna Chick started to panic as Kirby was being attacked by a steel ball.

"Poyo!" Kirby said to Dyna Chick. Dyna Chick did as it was told. It sat on the top of Whispy Wood to avoid any attack. Tracker 101 let out its spike and started to shoot it at Kirby.

"Kirby! Inhale those spikes!" Whispy Wood said. Kirby did as it was told to do. Kirby inhaled the incoming spikes and transformed into needle Kirby.

As Tracker 101 shot its spikes, Kirby countered them with his needles. Kirby shot more needles than Tracker 101 shot its spikes, but its spikes were much sturdier than Kirby's needles. Tracker 101 was also fast enough to catch up to Kirby. Dyna Chick wanted to help, but Kirby told him to stay still on top of Whispy Wood. Whispy Wood also contributed to Dyna Chick's safety as it made a wooden cage so that it wouldn't go any further.

Finally, one of Kirby's needle struck Tracker 101's sensor. As the needle went through the sensor, Tracker 101 was not able to track anything in front of it. It just rolled around uncontrollably. Kirby had its chance. He started to strike Tracker 101 with bunch of needles, but they needles weren't strong enough to break other parts of Tracker 101.

"Kirby! Use this!" Whispy Wood had a mallet reserved for Kirby just in case something happens in the woods or someone tried to harm the flower plot in front of him. Kirby inhaled the mallet, and turned into hammer Kirby. "Take that to Dedede's castle! I know he brought it here!"

"Poyo!" Kirby struck Tracker 101 with such force that it flew all the way to Dedede's castle.

Waddle Dees were mindlessly walking around, but when broken Tracker 101 dropped from the air, Waddle Dees flew away by the impact of the fall.

"What's going on here?!" Dedede asked as he noticed the mess. "Huh?" He noticed the broken Tracker 101. "Isn't that Tracker 101? That piece of junk!" He angrily kicked it, but only hurt his foot. "OW! MY FO-HOO-HOOT!" Dedede held his foot, humped around in pain, and cried like a baby.

"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby said that Dyna Chick should go back.

"Gao, ghao!" Dyna Chick agreed.

Still wanting him to practice, Kirby flew with Dyna Chick. As Dyna Chick went up in the air, it noticed its mother in a distance, so he changed direction and flew towards its mother.

Dyna Blade was still angry that its baby disappeared. At one point, it turned to torment other group of cappies, but she saw something flying towards her. A similar figure. She went a bit closer, and it was her baby flying towards her. She couldn't believe her eyes. Her baby was flying! She was so proud that several teardrops ran down from her eyes. She let out a proud screech as she went close to Dyna Chick.

"Gao! Gao!" Dyna Chick said that Kirby taught him how to fly.

"Gwah!" Dyna Blade screeched as it thankfully looked at Kirby.

"Mmph... mmph..." Kirby couldn't speak while he was bloated. Dyna Blade gave a little peck on Kirby as a token of gratitude.

Dyna Blade and Dyna Chick happily flew away into the sunset. Kirby landed softly next to Tiff and Tuff.

"Kirby, did you teach it how to fly?" Tiff asked as he landed.

"Poyo!" Kirby replied.

"You have taught him perfectly," Meta Knight popped out and complimented.

"Meta Knight!" Tiff exclaimed. "Where were you when we needed you?"

"I was watching Kirby teach Dyna Chick how to fly," Meta Knight replied. "He gave him lessons at the Whispy Wood. With Kirby's help, Dyna Chick mastered the basic techniques of flying."

"Wow, Kirby," Tiff said. "I didn't know you were able to do that. I'm proud of you!"

"Payai-i!" Kirby jumped with excitement.
