A/N: My first semester of college is officially over! Yes, I had to take finals and I got a really bad grades this semester, but mainly because I was taking classes that I did not want to take. Sorry for the wait and thank you for understanding. 

As always, Kawasaki's restaurant was not doing so well. He sighed deeply with agony. "Why am I keep trying when I'm not getting much customers? I can't keep this up. I have to figure out a new skill to apply to a business..."

"Kawasaki," Tiff said from behind with Kirby. "Can you not be so negative?"

"Tiff? When did you get here?" Kawasaki asked. 

"Just now," Tiff said. "Kawasaki, you need to stop thinking negatively and start coming up with new stuff!" 

"But Tiff, what else can I do?" Kawasaki asked in a hopeless tone. "I already tried extra-spicy menus, delivery service, and battle between my teacher and friend."

"Well, why don't you try coming up with something that everyone likes?" Tiff asked. "Have you thought about what people like?"

"Uh... not really..." Kawasaki said. "I can only do what I learned in my cooking class."

"Why not close down the restaurant for a bit and develop new recipes?" Tiff asked. "Trust me, you won't get bankrupt. It's only few days. If you found a new recipe, you can open again. We'll help you come up with new recipes."

"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby said.

"I hope," Kawasaki was nervous about this new change that Tiff suggested. 

Kawasaki put up a sign that says, "Will be closed for few days. Sorry~!"

"Kawasaki closed for few days?" Gengu asked.

"But I like hanging out in there!" Tuggle said.

"Wow, it feels empty without Kawasaki's place open," Gus said.

"Did Kawasaki closed down?" Buttercup asked.

"No, just for few day," Hana replied.

"I predict Kawasaki will still be bad even after break," Mabel said.

Kawasaki was at Tiff's place to make new menus. "Hmm..." Kawasaki thought. 

"Kawasaki, have some snacks and coffee," Tiff said as she brought tray of cookies, muffins, and coffee. "You need break even while thinking."

"Ah, thank you Tiff," Kawasaki thanked as he took a bite of the muffin. 

"Any ideas yet?" Tiff asked.

"No, no so fa- oh! This muffin tastes delicious!" Kawasaki said. 

"Thank you! I made them myself!" Tiff said, glad that Kawasaki liked her baking.

"May I have the recipe for this?" Kawasaki asked.

"Sure, they're pretty easy!" Tiff said. "Wait... are you thinking what I'm thinking?" 

"I think I'm thinking what you're thinking," Kawasaki replied as he took a sip of the coffee. "Hey this tastes good too! You know what I mean?"

"Definitely," Tiff said. "I'll give you every recipes for everything that was on the plate. It will be a hit."

"Thank you Tiff!" Kawasaki said.

"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby said as he finished the rest.

Soon, Kawasaki reopened. He had no new entrees, but he had a lot of desserts in his menu. First customer was Chief Bookem.  He flipped through the menu and wondered what he wanted to eat for breakfast before his police duty. As he turned pages, he got to the new pages with new dessert menus. "Oh? Kawasaki? You serve baked goods, and sweet hot drinks now?" Chief Bookem asked as he looked at the new pages in the menu.

"Oh yes! Would you like some after your main entree?" Kawasaki offered.

"I'll decide that after I eat the main entree. I can do that, right?" Chief Bookem asked.

"Oh sure!" Kawasaki said.

"Well then first, I'll have a plate of pork chops," Chief Bookem said.

"Right away!" Kawasaki said and started to cook pork chops. 

"Did Chief Bookem order any desserts yet?" Tiff asked. She decided to be in charge of desserts for first day so that Kawasaki can slowly get used to cooking desserts.

"No not yet," Kawasaki replied. "He said he will after he finishes his main entree."

"Sounds good," Tiff said.

While Kawasaki was cooking pork chops for Chief Bookem, he read through the dessert menu and wondered which dessert to get. Tiff walked over to help him make a decision.

"Would you like some recommendations, Chief Bookem?" Tiff offered.

"Tiff? What are you doing here?" Chief Bookem asked.

"I helped Kawasaki make desserts menu, so I'm helping Kawasaki make them," Tiff replied.

"Well that's nice! I would like some suggestions," Chief Bookem said.

"Chocolate chip cookies and hazelnut coffee is my personal favorite," Tiff said. "Kawasaki also recommends cream cookies and milk coffee."

"Well that sounds delicious! I'll have chocolate chip cookies and a cup of milk coffee!" Chief Bookem said.

"Got it!" Tiff said. "Kawasaki! One order of chocolate chip cookies and a cup of milk coffee!"

"Right on!" Kawasaki said. "Lalalalala~ lalalala~ lalalala~" Kawasaki said as he picked some chocolate chip cookies from the oven and poured the coffee from the coffee maker. "Order up!" Kawasaki called as he was ready to serve cookies and coffee.

"Here you go, Chief Bookem," Tiff said as she handed the plate.

"Hmm, it looks pretty appetizing," Chief Bookem said. He took a bite into a chocolate chip cookie. "Mm! It tastes good!" He then took a sip of coffee. "Wow! This is very savory!"

"I'm glad you like them so much!" Tiff said happily.

"Really? Are they really that delicious?" Mayor asked.

"I was surprised!" Chief Bookem said.

"Maybe we should try!" Professor Curio said.

"I think I should go too," Melman said.

The words were spread out everywhere, even in the castle. "Everyone in Cappy Town is talking about it, your majesty," Escargoon said to King Dedede. "We gotta try this dessert menu that Kawasaki is serving."

"What?! Is it really that good?!" Dedede asked.

"Every cappies are lined up to get the desserts," Escargoon said.

"Drive me there now!" Dedede said. Escargoon immediately drove him down to Cappy Town and parked in front of Kawasaki's restaurant.

"Outta ma way!" Dedede said as he and Escargoon pushed every cappies away so that he can get in first.

"Welcome~" Kawasaki said.

"Dedede, you're supposed to wait in line!" Tiff scolded.

"Shut dat trap and get me some desserts!" Dedede demanded.

"Don't you lecture the king!" Escargoon pointed.

Tiff angrily cleared her throat and led him to the empty seat and handed him the menu. "Please choose what you would like," Tiff said bluntly.

"Hmm..." Dedede said as he looked at the menu. "I want me some coffee and chocolate muffin! And step on it!"

"Yes, your majesty," Tiff replied sassily. "Kawasaki! One more order of coffee and chocolate muffin!"

"And I would like a black tea and a cheesecake," Escargoon also ordered. 

"You should've said earlier," Tiff replied. "One more order of black tea and cheesecake!"

"Got it!" Kawasaki replied from his kitchen.

"Here's your order," Tiff said as she served the order to Dedede and Escargoon.

Dedede and Escargoon took the bite of their desserts. Their eyes both widened as the taste flooded the inside of their mouth.

"Hey~~~~~~~~!" Dedede remarked.

"This is very delicious!" Escargoon said. "Not too sweet, not too bland!"

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it," Tiff said.

The business went fantastic for rest of the day. Kawasaki was very happy with how much he earned in a day. However, he was working from early in the morning and late in the night. He felt extremely exhausted when he was closed for the day. 

When he woke up the next day, he was feeling tired rather than refreshed. "I gotta have a cup of coffee before business hours..." Kawasaki said weakly as he boiled the water, poured the water into coffee blender, drained the coffee down, made it sweeter with milk, cream, and caramel sauce. "Bottoms up..." Kawasaki said as he took his first sip. After his first sip, his eyes opened wide, and started to prepare for opening hours. He prepared the dough for cookies and cakes, and boiled more water for coffee and tea. After preparing everything, he drank the rest of the coffee that he prepared for himself earlier and said, "I'm ready for today!"

But he wasn't. He did not expect the restaurant to be full for the first six hours he opened. He did not have time to sit down. Around two o' clock, he was fairly relaxed. He had no customers around that time. He felt even more tired than the morning. He decided to drink another cup of coffee before more customers rush in. This time, he made the taste much stronger. He gained much more energy and started to get back to work as more customers rushed in.

"How are you doing today, Kawasaki?" Tiff asked.

"Busy but fun!" Kawasaki said as he was fully energized with caffeine. 

"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby cheered.

During the evening, he was exhausted again. He drank even stronger coffee and worked hard until closing. This seemed to repeat for days. It was even worse when Dedede and Escargoon came to the restaurant. 

On his fifth day, he collapsed while serving some cappies some tea and cakes.

"Kawasaki! Are you okay?!" "Oh my goodness! He fell!" "Ah! What are we gonna do!" "Someone call the doctor!" "Kawasaki wake up!" Everyone panicked at once. 

Thankfully, Yabui was there to relax during his break time. He checked on Kawasaki.

"Is he okay?" Mayor asked.

"He has extensive caffeine level," Yabui said. "He's also in his exhaustion stage. He needs to take a break for few days or so."

After that, Kawasaki had to really close for few days to regain his health. 

"WHY?! OUT OF ALL THOSE DAYS?! WHY TODAY?!" Dedede became cranky as he was not able to have his favorite coffee and muffin.

"Sire, you got to understand," Escargoon tried to calm him down. "Kawasaki has been overworking himself that he needs a break."

"Well what about ma coffee?!" Dedede asked.

"Sire, you should worry about Kawasaki than not having your tea," Escargoon said.

"Well I ain't gonna!" Dedede said. "Yo Susie!" He called as he connected.

"Yes, sire?" Susie came in as she was sipping cup of her coffee.

"I want maself a coffee making machine!" Dedede said. 

"I think he has caffeine addiction," Escargoon said.

"Oh dear," Susie said.

"What?! I don't!" Dedede said as he hammered Escargoon. "Now get meh a coffee making machine!"

"Well, of course, your majesty," Susie said. "Well, due to the advancement in technology, this machine just does more than making coffee."

"Whachu mean?!" Dedede asked.

"Well, it makes coffee, tea, other warm drinks, and it is programmed to detect and attack Kirby," Susie said. "It attacks with a blending knife and hot water."

"Send it to me! Now!" Dedede said.

"Natürlich, your majesty," Susie said and sent the machine over. "Emjoy~" She saluted and disconnected.

"Heheheh!" Dedede exclaimed happily. "I get to drink coffee whenever I want now!"

"This is definitely caffeine addiction," Escargoon said as he tsked, crossed his arms, and shook his head.

"Shut yo mouth, slime grime!" Dedede said. "Now let's see..." He clicked the button that said coffee. The machine put made the cup and drained the coffee into the cup. He took a sip. "Hmmm... this ain't bad... but I want one from Kawasaki's."

"Now now, you can't be so picky," Escargoon said. "Kawasaki will be opened in few days."

The pleasant smell of coffee went into Kirby's nose. "Poyo!" Kirby followed where the smell came from. "Poyo!" He entered Dedede's room. The coffee machine immediately scanned Kirby, arms and legs emerged from itself, and transformed into a robot armor. Hot water and blending blade emerged from itself and started to attack Kirby. "Poyo! Poyooooooooo!" Kirby panicked as he dodged the attacks.

"No! My coffee machine!" Dedede exclaimed.

"Sire! Worry about the hot water first!" Escargoon said. "At this rate, this room's gonna be flooded with hot water! I don't want to be escargot!"

Meta Knight knew something was coming all along. He brought Kirby his Robobot Armor. "Kirby! Over here!"

Kirby noticed and quickly sat on the Robobot Armor and activated it. The coffee machine robot swung the blade at Kirby. Kirby dodged the blade and scanned it, turning the Robobot Armor into cutter mode. 

"It is now, cutter mode armor!" Meta Knight announced. 

"Gaaaaaahhhhh!" "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Dedede and Escargoon jumped around as the hot water beneath their feet were nearly boiling their feet.

Coffee machine robot pumped boiling water at Kirby and Robobot Armor. Kirby quickly clicked the button to place the force field around him and the Robobot Armor and protected them from being cooked from the boiling water. As he blocked the boiling water, Kirby advance forward towards the coffee machine robot, and used cutting shot. When the coffee machine robot got knocked out, Kirby charged and used whirling saw, thrusting its core and making it explode... with boiling water, coffee beans, tea bags, and other flavored-powders splattered everywhere in the room.

"HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!" Dedede danced around in pain of heat as majority of the water splashed on him. 

"This is a relief, thank goodness I had this..." Escargoon said as he was holding the umbrella.

Meta Knight smirked under his mask with proud.

Waddle Dees cleaned his room few hours after the explosion.

Kawasaki was taking treatment for withdrawal of caffeine. "Ooh, I... want... more... coffee..."

"No, Kawasaki," Tiff said. "You have to refrain from it."

"Aw..." Kawasaki groaned sadly. "But there are plenty of the ready... with the desserts... they'll go bad when no one eats it."

"I'm pretty sure someone else can eat it," Tiff said.

"Poyo!" Kirby volunteered and started to inhale them all.
