"A circus? In the castle?" Escargoon asked by the sudden suggestion.

"Yeah! No one in this town gas ever been to a circus!" Dedede said. "This us gonna be fun for everyone in town!"

"I think he only wants to please himself," Escargoon said under his breath. "Well then, how are we going to get the circus in the castle?"

"Gotta contact Susie!" Dedede said as he sat on his throne. "She'll know what to do!"

As she connected, Susie started to brag excitedly, "Oh, King! I finally got my doctorate degree! I'm more than a professional now! Can you believe it?! You don't know how happy I am right now!" She showed her degree that Dedede would never understand how that would work.

"Yo! I have a favor to ask!" Dedede said.

Susie sighed, knowing that he won't listen anyways. "Yes, your majesty, how can I help you?" She went back to her normal tone.

"I want me a circus! Pronto!" Dedede said.

"Circus? Why all of a sudden?" Susie asked.

"I want entertainment for the cappies!" Dedede replied.

"For cappies? Never knew you cared about them," Susie said.

"Hey! Quit yo' yappin and get me circus builders!" Dedede said.

"Well, all right," Susie replied. "However, you have to pay for the performers based on how long they work for you."

"Just get them to me!" Dedede demanded.

"As you wish, your majesty," Susie said and disconnected. "I'll give you a monster as an extra. Let's make this circus the most dangerous one ever." She snickered evilly as she looked at her newly designed monster.

Waddle Dees went around Cappy Town to pass out flyers and tickets to enter the new circus that Dedede and Susie's workers. The flyer required everyone to attend the circus tomorrow.

"New circus?" Mayor asked as he picked up the ticket.

"I don't know about this," Hana said as she picked up the flyer.  

"I got a bad feeling about this," Gengu said.

"I predict this would be bad like the amusement park he had last time," Mabel said.

"I quite agree," Samo agreed to Mabel.

"I'm curious though," Tuggle said.

"Should we try?" Buttercup asked.

"You think we can really trust him?" Chief Bookem said.

"Why not? I mean, it always turn out better in the end than we expected," Honey said.

"It can be more fun that amusement park," Iroo said.

"We can totally give it a try," Spikehead added.

"It would be nice to get a day-off sometimes," Gus said while eating in Kawasaki's restaurant.

"Maybe I should get a day off from kitchen," Kawasaki said.

"It would be nice if you get a day off everyday," Curio said.

"Meta Knight, what do you think what Dedede is up to?" Tiff asked.

"I do not know," Meta Knight said. "But if we were to attend, we must pay close attention to Kirby."

"Poyo?" Kirby said.

"But I'm sure Kirby wants to go, don't you Kirby?" Tiff asked.

"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby replied.

"Well then we shall," Meta Knight said.

"Poyo! Poyo-poyo!" Kirby cheered.

"I'll just let my parents know," Tiff said as she walked out.

Meta Knight just stood there as Tiff left. Kirby also stood there, looking at Meta Knight. "Would you like a piece of candy?" Meta Knight offered.

"Poyo!" Kirby exclaimed happily.

Meta Knight took put a piece of candy from his candy jar and handed it to Kirby.  He tossed it in the air and landed in his mouth. He chewed as he held his cheek due to the sweetness that danced around in its mouth. Meta Knight chuckled as he stroke Kirby's head. They both liked it: Meta Knight stroking Kirby's head, and Kirby being stroked by Meta Knight. Kirby nuzzled Meta Knight's mask to thank him. "You're welcome," Meta Knight responded as he tapped his head.

"So my parents said-" as soon as Meta Knight and Kirby heard Tiff's voice, they quickly withdrew. "-it's okay for Kirby and you to come along. Tuff also invited his friends to go with him."

"Poyo! Poyo-poyo!" Kirby cheered.

"Good," Meta Knight replied.

Next day, every cappies, even ones who were a little suspicious about it, came in front of the castle for the new circus Dedede set up. The tent was large enough for everyone to go in along with Waddle Dees, circus props, and a huge light-reflecting screen

"I thought you were suspicious about this," Samo said to Mabel.

"Yes, but I also predicted the King would also be upset if a lot of people don't attend," Mabel said.

"This is gonna be so fun," Iroo said.

"I've never been to a circus before!" Honey exclaimed excitedly.

"I hope everything turns out all right," Tiff said.

"Time to earn some money!" Kawasaki said, bringing a huge box of wrapped hot dogs and a popcorn machine.

"Kawasaki," Tiff said. "You're gonna sell all that?"

"Well sure! People would enjoy hot dogs and popcorn in this kind of event!" Kawasaki said.

"Well, we're going in!" Chief Bookem said, first in line.

Everyone gave the ticket Escargoon to go in. "Thank you, welcome," Escargoon said as he took the tickets from cappies.

Cappies all sat down in the audience seats, sitting next to other they want to sit with. Kirby sat between Tiff and Meta Knight.

Few moments after everyone sat down, Waddle Dees started the drum role. There were a lot of cheering, whistles, and applause. Dedede went to the center of the stage and the light shined upon him. "Good mo-nin'! Welcome to Dedede circus! Hope y'all enjoy yo' time watching this!" No one applauded. The light turned off, and turned back on, showing a clown. "Behold, Clown Acrobot!" Dedede announced.

Clown Acrobot crossed to the center of the stage as the stage light followed him. "Thank you, ladies and gentlemen," it said and then started to juggle three balls, then four, then five... then about thirty. Everyone cheered by the juggling skill. 

As it continued to juggle it hopped on a giant ball and balanced on it, and moved around, in circles, lines, and even hopped and landed back on top of the ball. Everyone applauded even more and louder.

Meanwhile, Kawasaki was selling popcorn and hot dogs. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Ironically, Kawasaki's business was running well. Maybe it is that Kawasaki's food tastes better outside than inside of his restaurant.

Cappies continued to watch the circus as they ate hot dogs and popcorn. Clown Acrobot performed more tricks such as riding a unicycle on top of the giant ball, and juggling balls and bowling pins at the same time. 

"That is so cool!" Iroo said.

"I wish I can do that," Spikehead said.

"Quite impressive," Curio said.

"If I had that kind of talent, there would be less crime in this town," Chief Bookem said.

"This isn't so bad, it's really good!" Samo said.

"I agree," Mabel said.

"At least nothing bad's happening," Tiff said.

"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby said. He was probably the most excited audience, eating piles of hot dogs and popcorn that Meta Knight paid for him.

Meta Knight was the only audience who didn't cheer, applaud, or eat. he was a little suspicious about Clown Acrobot, even though nothing happened just yet, because it was Dedede. He waited for the right moment to catch any suspicious action that Clown Acrobot would make.

"All right, ladies and gentlemen," Clown Acrobot said as he paused his performance. "I would like a volunteer for this fire trick I am planning to do. Who would like to be a volunteer for my next performance?"

Everyone raised their hand, except Tiff and Meta Knight, and said "Me! Me! Me! Me! Me!"

"Well, since there are so many of you, the light will pick randomly." The drum roll started as the light moved around to pick who would be Clown Acrobot's volunteer. The drum roll stopped as the light shined on Kirby. "Well, there you are! Please come on up on a stage!" Kirby did go up to the stage, but Meta Knight felt a little uneasy. The odd of Kirby being picked was extremely low.

"Poyo!" Kirby excitedly went to the center of the stage.

"Hello, fellow citizen," Clown Acrobot said. "What is your name?"

"Kaabi," Kirby replied. He knew how to say his own name.

"Well, Kirby, nice to meet you!" Clown Acrobot said in a friendly voice, when internally, he was snickering evilly. So this is the pink fool Lady Susie was talking about, all right. "Now, I want you to do something for me!"

"Poyo?" Kirby asked.

"I want you to..." Clown Acrobot paused. Then the stage started to activate and he quickly got off the stage. The stage was actually a transporter to Susie's office, like the one in Dedede's throne room.

"Get out of there, Kirby!" Tiff called, but Kirby was never so fast to react.

Instead of calling Kirby out, Meta Knight quickly glided towards the light, and he was able to catch up to him.

"Hey, what happened to Kirby?" Gengu asked.

"Is this another trick?" Tuggle asked.

"It must be part of the performance," Gus said.

"Let's give it a cheer!" Mayor said, and everyone clapped by the performance.

"Oh dear..." Tiff said as she put her hand over her eyes and forehead.

"By the way, when will Kirby appear again?" Tuff asked Tiff.

"Don't you all get it?!" Tiff said angrily. "This is part of the trap!"

"Well, well, well," Clown Acrobot said as he stepped onto the center of the stage, preparing another performance. "Looks like someone's a genius to figure that out. Might as well, DESTROY THIS PLACE!" Clown Acrobot threw the bowling pins he juggled earlier and the all exploded in the air. All cappies screamed, panicked, and hurried out the tent. Clown Acrobot laughed evilly as he threw more bombs disguised as circus props. Some explosions were powerful enough together that the tent flew away, leaving the light-reflecting screen standing there alone. "And watch your favorite heros being destroyed by our company! The main part of the circus is about to begin! Muah-ha-ha-ha!"

"Oh, Kirby, Meta Knight, please come quick!" Tiff said.

"Poyo?" Kirby said as he arrived in a completely new place.

"Susie..." Meta Knight said as she came into his sight of his red eyes.

"Looks like you were quick enough to come with your friend," Susie said. "However, it's the end for you guys." She clicked the button on her keyboard. and five huge, intimidating robots stepped out.

"How dare you," Meta Knight said angrily, yet calmly. He took out his Galaxia and stood next to Kirby. "Kirby, stay by me this whole time. Right now, there's nothing to inhale so that you can transform."

"That is correct, you bright Star Warrior," Susie snickered. "Get it? Hehehehehe~" She clicked the button that said "auto-attack". All five robots started to activate. One tried to hammer, one tried to cut, one tried to slap, one tried to punch, and one tried to kick, but Meta Knight dodged all the attack as he grabbed Kirby by the arm. He saw the monitor and Clown Acrobot was at the center of the stage. Meta Knight quickly scanned over the keyboard and looked for "transport" button, or other button that would send Clown Acrobot to this place. When he saw the "receive" button, he quickly pressed it, before Susie said "No! Knock it off!", making Clown Acrobot come back to Susie's office.

"Wha-? Lady Susie, this isn't the pla-," Clown Acrobot looked around and paused as he saw Meta Knight and Kirby in front of his sight.

"Well, this can't be helped," Susie said. "Go get Kirby and Meta Knight!"

"Yes, madam!" Clown Acrobot took the order and threw a bowling pin at Kirby.

"Kirby! Do it!" Meta Knight said.

"Poyo!" Kirby said and inhaled the bowling pin and transformed into Circus Kirby.

"He must be Circus Kirby," Meta Knight said. 

Susie groaned in anger. "It doesn't matter! Get them!"

All the robots, along with Clown Acrobot, responded at started to attack. Meta Knight quickly slashed the arms off the five robots, and Kirby used fire hoop, to Clown Acrobot. However, Clown Acrobot dodged it, which he thought was lucky, but hit the other robot and started to burn him down.

Meta Knight had an idea. Since Clown Acrobot knew every trick that Kirby is able to perform, and other robots don't know about him, Meta Knight decided to take care of Clown Acrobot and let Kirby take care of the robots. If he can't get all the robots, he'll handle the rest. "Kirby, you get the robots! I will get the clown!"

"Poyo!" Kirby agreed, throwing a bowling pin to each of the robots, and Meta Knight drilling Clown Acrobot right into the stomach. 

They were all destroyed in a blink of an eye. Susie collapsed on her knee. "This... this can't be happening..."

"You have underestimated us," Meta Knight said. "We will not harm you... just yet... now if you'll excuse us..." He clicked the button so that he and Kirby can go back. 

When Kirby and Meta Knight returned the whole place was a mess. As they saw Kirby came back, they started to cheer again. "Much better than the circus!" Curio said.

"Poyo?" Kirby said.

"We saw you through that screen!" Tiff pointed at the screen that was disguised as a light reflect that was turned on immediately Kirby and Meta Knight was sent over. Susie originally set that up so that cappies can see Kirby and Meta Knight being destroyed by her inventions, but instead, her inventions were destroyed. "That was so heroic of you guys! By the way, where is Dedede? He has to pay for this!"

Dedede was long from gone out of the tent. "Yo! Susie! What's goin' on?! I thought you got them!"

"Sire, I'm not in a mood to talk," Susie said. "I'll talk to you later." She disconnected, rubbing her right temple with her fingers.

While Dedede was groaning in disappointment, everyone else was outside cheering with joy as they tossed Kirby high in the air again and again.

"Poyo!" Kirby happily said. 

A/N: Random thought: Super Smash Bros. Brawl fanfic would be nice; crossover Nintendo. I might actually try that! That means more shipping and other funny scenarios that I write. But I don't have any storyline for it yet.
