President Haltmann evilly chuckled as he looked at his newest invention. "My turn..." He said as he cleaned his invention.

"What do you mean your turn, Mr. President?" Susie asked.

"I'm gonna fight those two Star Warriors with my newest invention," Haltmann said as he chuckled.

"After seeing what happened to Galacta Knight?" She asked.

"But do they know about this new robot I built?" Haltmann asked. "This is the first one ever in this universe!"

"It's probably not a good idea to present you weapon now," Susie warned. "Dedede barely ordered and robots to attack Kirby."

"But I know this will work," Haltmann said. "And if they win, there's not much guarantee that they'll learn anything from their victory."

"If you say so, Mr. President," Susie had no choice but to obey. Haltmann evilly chuckled, which turned into evil snicker, which turned into evil laughter, which then turned into evil crackling.

"Cheers!" "Poyo!" "..." Tiff, Kirby, and Meta Knight said as they clinked their glasses together for the biggest victory before eNeMeE. 

Instead of taking off his mask, Meta Knight sipped it through the open part of his mask, which was his eyes. He was practically used to eating and drinking with his mask on. It's just even more convenient for him to eat and drink without his mask on. He just took the mask off when he was with Sword Knight, Blade Knight, and Kirby. Whenever he took off his mask, everyone would insult him by saying that he is indescribably adorable despite the fact that he is supposed to be the best-trained Star Warrior. Sword Knight and Blade Knight wouldn't insult him since he's their life savior. And Kirby... because he's Kirby. Kirby has a right to know everything about him.

"Meta Knight," Tiff said. "Why don't you ever take off your mask? I'm so curious."

"Hmm..." Meta Knight just sat there, without saying anything. He didn't know what kind of excuse he can think of. 

"Kirby, are you curious?" Tiff asked.

"Poyo?" Kirby pretended that he didn't know what she was talking about.

"Have some cookies, Kirby," Meta Knight said to distract him.

"Poyo!" Kirby replied happily. Instead of inhaling the whole thing, Kirby took one and savored it. He wanted Meta Knight to have some too. Plus, he also found a joy in savoring food instead of inhaling everything at once. Of course Tiff was happy that Kirby learned to control himself, but she had to admit that she was on a stage of starting to miss Kirby's inhaling all the food. She would just let him do that in certain circumstances.

Meta Knight stepped out for a minute. He gazed upon the stars again. Galacta Knight... He thought as he gazed upon the stars.

"Poyo," Kirby tapped him on his shoulder armor, and handed him a cookie. Meta Knight modestly chuckled and took the cookie. Instead of eating it, he held on to it. "Poyo, poyo?" Kirby asked.

"I do no-" Meta Knight started, but looking at Kirby's face. he immediately changed his mind. "Okay, I will." he inserted the cookie through the opening of his mask. Meta Knight smiled, only Kirby was not able to see it. "Thank you Kirby."

"Poyo!" Kirby said happily.

Looks like Kirby and Meta Knight are much friendlier than before, Tiff thought as she sipped her tea and crunched the cookie.

"What?!" Dedede asked. "You wanna take care of them this time?!"

"That's right, your majesty," Haltmann said. "You may have not expected this request, but I must see their talents myself."

"Well, you gotta do what floats your boat," Escargoon agreed to this idea.

"Don't worry," Haltmann said. "This is going to advance Haltmann Works Company's ultimate plan."

"Poyo! Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby was joyfully skipping up the hill.

"Hello there," a man's voice came behind Kirby. It was Haltmann.

"Poyo?" Kirby asked.

"I have delicious watermelon for you," Haltmann tried to seduce him as he showed the bright red part of the inside of the watermelon.. "Would you like some?"

"Poyo!" Kirby ran towards him excitedly, but Meta Knight's words came into his mind: "Do not take food from strangers. It is more likely a trap. Only take food from people you know except Dedede. Do you understand?" Kirby's smile disappeared, turned back, and ran away from Haltmann. 

"Wait, wait!" Haltmann started to chase after Kirby. 

"POYO!" Kirby screamed as he ran away to Cappy Town. 

"Wait! Stop!" Haltmann called as he chased after Kirby. "I just want to give you this delicious watermelon for you! Don't you want it?"

Kirby trust Meta Knight more than random stranger who wants to give him a watermelon. "Poyo, poyo!" Kirby rejected it.

Haltmann halted while running. He was trying to catch his breath. "For a little...  pink baby ball... he sure... is quick... and has a lot... of stamina!"

"Poyo-!" Kirby ran without looking back.

"Kirby what's wrong?" Chief Bookem asked as Kirby ran frantically. Without answering Kirby ran past by him so fast that Bookem started to spin. "What's with him?"

"Hi, Kirby!" Tuff greeted as he waved his hand. Instead of greeting back, Kirby ran past him. Tuff watched Kirby run away. "Wow, I never knew Kirby was that fast at running."

"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby called as he saw Tiff from a distance.

"Kirby, what's wrong?" Tiff asked as Kirby ran to her.

"Poyo, poyo, poyo!" Kirby said as he pointed behind him.

"Huh? Was someone chasing you?" Tiff asked. She didn't understand the idea that some old man with an unusual hairstyle and mustache in Cappy Town was trying to seduce him with a fresh, attractive watermelon.

"Poyo, poyo," Kirby nodded. Although Tiff didn't understand the majority, she got the main point.

"Oh no! I'm glad you came to me, Kirby," Tiff said as she held on to him. "You must've been scared!"

"Poyo," Kirby said.

"Oh... oh... oh..." Haltmann panted deeply. "How is that... pink fluff... so fast? Oh my... goodness... I'm gonna... faint." It sounded as if he had asthma, but the truth is, he had middle-age body. He looked around to seek for help after his breathing pattern started to be normal. He saw Chief Bookem pass by. "Excuse me, fellow citizen."

"Huh?" Chief Bookem was confused by Haltmann's appearance. He saw no one like that before in Cappy Town. "Oh, how can I help you, mister?" 

"I'm looking for Kirby, hero of Dreamland," Haltmann said. 

"Oh! Kirby!" Chief Bookem said. "He just ran past by me but I really don't know where he headed to. But he usually stays at a castle during the day, so you can try there."

"Ah, thank you," Haltmann said. He walked modestly like a business man towards the castle. Darn it... I should've stayed there in a first place. But at least my weapon is ready to go in the castle... Haltmann thought as he chuckled.

He carefully peeked into the castle since Kirby was already running away from him. He changed his plan from seducing him to attacking him immediately. He sneaked inside the castle, and titles across, avoiding Kirby's sight. Although he avoided Kirby's sight, he wasn't able to avoid Meta Knight's keen sight.

"Excuse me," Meta Knight said as he sneaked up to him.

"Oh! Hello," Haltmann said, little scared. That's the other Star Warrior that Susie was talking about. I shouldn't reveal my identity to him!"

"Who are you?" Meta Knight asked.

"I'm just a traveler from another town in Dreamland," Haltmann replied calmly and not stuttering once. "I just came here to see Kirby, hero of Dreamland! Do you happen to know where he is?"

But Meta Knight was suspicious. I don't think he's from Dreamland... he thought. "I'm sorry, I don't know where to find him."

"But I heard he usually comes here so I came to the castle," Haltmann said.

"I haven't seen him," Meta Knight replied. "I've been on a patrol for a whole day and I have not seen Kirby walk by."

"Tough luck, then," Haltmann said. "Thank you anyway, sir."

"Good day," Meta Knight walked away.

Right when he started to walk away, Haltmann quickly ran to the end of the hallway, and cautiously watched both sides, and ran to his left. Meta Knight, feeling enough suspicion, was peeking over him to see his actions. Surely, he was not just a visitor. Meta Knight quickly yet quietly followed his footsteps.

Meta Knight hid as he heard voice of Dedede, Escargoon, and Haltmann.

"Have you seen Kirby anywhere, your majesty?" Haltmann asked.

"He should be in the east side of the castle building along with other pip squeak living in my castle!" Dedede said.

"Be prepared for it, I think Kirby is trying to avoid you! We can't use that watermelon method on that pink goofball anymore," Escargoon said.

Kirby? Trying to avoid him? Meta Knight thought as he eavesdropped the conversation. But why?

"You sure you're ready?" Escargoon asked.

"Yes, your majesty," Haltmann replied. "I'll capture him in no time and play with him as you asked for." He ran to the throne room to get ready.

Dedede and that man are on the same side! Meta Knight thought.

"Go get 'em, Haltmann!" Dedede cheered.

Haltmann! I should have known! Meta Knight thought. He knew about Haltmann Works Company, but he never got a chance to face him, so there was no way that he would know.

"Prepare for my wrath, Kirby!" Haltmann said as he sat on a huge robot. "Wait till you taste Robobot Armor! You'll never show around me, the great President Haltmann as I take over the universe! Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" He pressed the button to activate it and moved around the joysticks to control it. "Here I come!" He said as he went forward. The robot stomped as it advanced so that Haltmann can find Kirby.

Tiff and Kirby were startled by sudden stomping in the castle.

"What was that?" Tiff asked.

"Poyo?" Kirby asked.

"Probably just Dedede messing around?" Tiff asked. But the stomping became louder and closer. "Oh... I hope..."

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" "POOOOOYOOOOOO!" Tiff and Kirby screamed as Haltmann burster in the room.

"Well, well, Kirby!" Haltmann said. "If you just took the watermelon offer like a good boy, this would've never happened!"

"Was that the man chasing you?" Tiff asked.

"Poyo!" Kirby nodded yes.

"I'll get you, you pink toy!" Haltmann said as he advanced forward to get Kirby.

"No, you won't!" Meta Knight jumped in to make the robot lose balance and tip on its left side.

"Oh, now you're making me angry," Haltmann said to Meta Knight, still tipped over sideways.

"Good," Meta Knight said. "Because I'm about to get started."

"This ought to be interesting," Haltmann said. "Then I'll take both of you Star Warriors down!" Haltmann pushed the button so that it can stand right back up. "Be prepared to face the wrath of President Haltmann and Robobot Armor!" He pressed another button to scan Meta Knight's ordinary sword that was in his hand. After scanning, Robobot Armor turned into sword mode.

"So that is a new trick that Haltmann Works Company has invented," Meta Knight said to himself as he watched the transformation.

"Behold!" Haltmann pressed the button to attack, firing swords everywhere. Scared, Tiff and Kirby quickly ran outside to avoid his attacks. "You can't avoid me!" He moved his control sticks to follow Tiff and Kirby. Tiff and Kirby hurried and jumped into the garden of the castle. "Wanna take this outside?! Fine with me!"

"Kirby, suck up the attacks!" Tiff said. Kirby sucked up the incoming blades and turned into a sword Kirby. "Kabu! Send the Warp Star!"

"Warp Star!" Kabu said as he sent out the Warp Star. Kirby jumped on the Warp Star as it arrived.

"You're not gonna survive long on that toy," Haltmann said.

"He should not underestimate the techniques of the Warp Star," Meta Knight said as he watched Haltmann and Kirby having a battle. 

"Haaaaaah!" Haltmann exclaimed as he fired blades at Kirby. Warp Star helped Kirby dodge all those and strike Robobot Armor with full force. Robobot Armor sliced in half and exploded, sending Haltmann back into the throne room. 

"Haltmann?! Whachu doing here?!" Dedede asked as Haltmann was thrown back into his room.

"I must... go back..." Haltmann replied weakly.

"Ya fool! I'm not payin' for any injuries you received!" Dedede exclaimed angrily.

"Just... take me... back... sire..." Haltmann begged weakly.

"Fine! Get in that portal, ya old hag!" Dedede ordered. Haltmann crawled to the portal so that Dedede can send him back.

"Hm, hm-hm-hm~" Susie hummed as she wrote and organized her papers. Suddenly, the transporter lit up and injured Haltmann came into her sight. "Oh my goodness, Mr. President!"

"Call... the... medics..." Haltmann groaned.

"You really outdid yourself this time, Kirby!" Tiff complimented.

"Poyo!" Kirby thanked.

"Kirby, let's talk," Meta Knight said. They both went to a quiet place again so that Meta Knight can talk to him. "So, Kirby... the thing is..." Meta Knight said shyly. "I want to... take you out... out of Cappy Town... tomorrow."

"Poyo!" Kirby said excitedly.

"It's only because last time turned out to be a failure... because of Galacta Knight," Meta Knight said. "I really want to take you somewhere else in Dreamland tomorrow."

"Poyo!" Kirby replied happily.

"Well then, see you tomorrow then," Meta Knight said.

"Poyo!" Kirby jumped joyfully.
