Gooey as a Dark Matter is naturally inclined to negativity, feeling it and being attracted towards it

Due to Popstar basically radiating positivity, a Dark Matter would normally starve if they didn't cause negativity (or if things didn't go fuck crazy every tuesday)

Due to Gooey being an anomaly, he is instead able to feed off of positivity, especially the more positive he feels, though the worse he's feeling, the more likely he'll cause something bad in order to feed off of it

Since Kirby is a literal ray of sunshine, Gooey was able to quickly be "converted" easily due to him already being an anomaly

Gooey loves being happy :3

Gooey will usually be with The Animal Friends when they are at Rick's nest, or with Kirby, or on his own somewhere
