I was met with a pair of chocolate brown eyes. "Who are you??" A thick British accent rang through my ears. "I don't know," I whispered, trying to remember. "Well, seeing as you're in this chair, I'm guessing you aren't apart of the first order?" I just stayed quiet. "I don't know what that is," I eventually whispered. "Well, I'm Rey," The girl said to me, smiling slightly. My world wavered dangerously. "What did you say?" I asked. My throat was suddenly dry. "Rey," She said again, glancing around the room. "Of Jakku?" I asked, looking into her eyes.

My eyes welled up at them: it was almost as if they'd been copied straight from my mothers own face. "How do you know that?" Rey demanded, her entire demeanour shifting. I scanned her face. "I have a lot to tell you, but rest assured, I am not of any harm to you." Rey continued to glare at me. "Lets get out of here," I said. She didn't move. "Yeah, I kinda need you to get me out of these restraints." Yet, she still did not move. "Tell me how you know who I am, or I will leave you here," She finally said. I sighed. "Its a lot to take in at once." I warned. Her gaze did not falter. "Ok," and so I told her everything.

I jolted awake as if someone had poked me with electricity. "Get up," A voice hissed. I rubbed my eyes, which suddenly felt very dry and itchy. "Fuck off," I mumbled back. My cheek stung with the sudden slap I received. I glared at the white suited dude next to me. My eyes stung and nearly watered. "Ouch," I hissed. I glared at the white suited man harshly. I used the force a little to make his head hurt.... or at least I thought I did, but he collapsed on the ground.

"Oopsie," I said aloud. Something hissed behind me, and made me jump. "Why is KZ-4953 on the floor?" A new suited person said, walking in. This one sounded vaguely female. She was in a silver suit, however. She kicked the white suited person on the floor. No movement was made. "Who're you?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. "None of your business," The woman replied, undoing the restraints on my wrists. She grabbed my shoulder harshly. "No funny business," She warned. Something cold and hard pressed into my lower spine. "Yessir," I mumbled.

She pushed me out of the tiny room I was once in and down a few corridors. She then roughly pushed me into a slightly larger room. It had 2 chairs and a mirror. "Wait here," The woman hissed at me. She slammed the door behind her.

I sat down on one of the chairs, reeling. What ever the fuck had happened in the last 3 days? My mum was killed, I was kidnapped, I had a vision of my first interaction with my sister, I killed a white suited man and got threatened. I have no idea how I'll ever meet Rey, but according to the force, it'll be soon. Usually the visions I have happen within a few weeks. I felt my stomach bubble at the thought of meeting her: what would she be like? Would she even like me? Is she a good person?

I decided to try and reach out with the force: I was glad my mum had taught me a little. Not a lot, sure. But enough. She'd taught me to reach out into peoples minds, how to cause pain, how to take pain, how to control them.

"Kira, you're doing so well!" My mum said to me one day. I was about 14 at the time, and had been practising for 7 years. "Whats next on the list mama? I want to learn more, this is awesome!" I begged, speaking in her mind. "Unfortunately, the boring stuff." She playfully pouted. I groaned and dramatically dropped into the snow. It seeped through my jacket and onto my back, but it didn't bother me: I was used to the cold. (author smirks waiting for readers to get the reference)

"How do you get into someones mind without it hurting you or them?" My mother asked, handing me a cup of hot drink. "With their permission," I answered, sipping the beverage. "Good, but how?" She continued. "I would ask them if I could show them something," My mother nodded, "Good. And what do we not use our abilities for?" She asked. I rolled my eyes; "Evil or bad intentions," She smiled. "Good..."

We sat in silence for a minute.

"There are more things to learn in the force, Kira. I cannot teach you them though, for I do not know them myself. I do know my father once told me that the stronger force users can physically move stuff. My own father could just barely move stuff, and he was very strong in the force. I could never do it, and as such, can't teach you, sweetheart." I thought it best not to tell her that when another child in the village called me an abomination, I pushed her into her hut without touching her. "But what if I could move stuff? Like, what if I do it on accident?" I instead asked. My mother smirked, "Is this your way of saying you hurt Saria the other day?" I looked away. "Don't worry, she had it coming." My mother assured me, putting her hand on my own. "And to answer your question: I don't know. You may just have to train yourself on this one. I don't know how to do it or control it, so I can't help you."

I still can't move stuff, not really. I mean, I can move super light stuff, like pens and paper or some small pebbles. But thats it. When I'm especially emotional, I can cause a large blast, which pushes everything in a 2 meter radius to me away. But thats it.

Nothing special.

A white suited guy walked in, and basically threw some food at me. "There's a delay, eat this so you don't die of starvation." I quickly used the force to reach into (her) mind. I made her collapse, not die this time. Again, oopsie.

I dragged her over to a corner and took off her suit. Thank god she had an all-in-one black suit on underneath. I put her plastic feeling white suit on. Before I left, I went into her mind again, completing erasing her memory of ever seeing me.

I walked out of the room, making sure to lock it on my way. I had no idea where I even was, so I was purely just free styling. I followed a few other suited people, hoping they would lead me... well... somewhere. I eventually wondered into a big space full of flight looking things. I reached out with the force to find an empty one.

I couldn't fly one, I don't even know how to get into the damn thing. But, I'm sure I could find a way to get it moving. I found the standard thoughts of:

"I'm hungry," and "My feet hurt," and "I hate my life," and "I wanna sleep,"

But then... I heard "God, I hope they don't catch me,"

I decided to follow that person. I looked around, trying to locate the body to the voice, when I saw them. They were holding a gun looking thing to another guy's back, walking towards a flight thing. I walked a bit quicker, trying to catch up to them, hoping to not draw any unwanted attention. "Hey," I hissed. Both guys froze. "Uh..." The white suited guy said. I nodded towards the fighter thing. "Where're you headed?" I asked. The man, not in the white suit, looked me up and down. "And why does it bother you?" Glancing around to make sure we weren't being watched, I reached into their minds.

"Do not make a sound. It is only me, the girl in front of you. Let me show you, or it will hurt." I said in their minds. When I pushed, I was met with no resistance, so I continued. "I want out of here, and have no clue on how to use these... things, whatever they are. I need a way out, and I can tell you're leaving. Take me as well." I said. The non-suited guy shook his head. "Please, I'm not a bad person." I begged. "Who are you then?" The white suited man asked quietly. "I don't know, not one of these guys. I just wanna go home... or away from here," I whispered as quietly. Both men paused, almost for too long.

"Fine." The non-suited man eventually said. A rush of relief rushed over me so strong, I nearly fell down. "They won't see us board, I've cloaked us. But when the fighter thing lifts the ground, the cloak will disappear, and we'll have to move quick." I said, taking my helmet off. I shook my head and breathed in the clean air. The men stared at me. "What? Never seen a girl before?" I played.

We got into the fighter thing with no issues. "Can you fly?" The non-suited man asked. "No, but what is your name? In my head you're non-suited guy..." I asked, taking the clumpy white suit off. "I'm Poe Dameron. You?" He replied. "Kira," I replied, retying my hair up. "Kira what?" He asked, sitting at the front. "I don't know, I don't have a last name." I answered. There was a slight pause of awkwardness. "Can you shoot?" Poe asked, flicking some switches. "No, but I could learn quickly." I answered, sitting next to him. "Ok, go see the other dude and shoot with him, I fly alone." His voice left no room for argument, so I left.

After all, they were letting me tag along.

With a lot of shouting and swearing and shooting, we finally escaped. "So, who are you, Kira?" Poe asked. "Pardon?" I asked, sitting in the seat next to him. "Like, where are you from? Who're you parents? How can you do that freaky deaky mind shit?" I snorted. "Ok, in that order: I'm from all over, but I lived on Hoth for the last 12 years of my life, I never knew my dad, my mum was killed 3 days ago, and I inherited it from my granddad."

"Wait, you lived on Hoth? As in... Hoth, the ice planet?" Poe asked, shocked. I laughed, "Out of all of that, you picked up on Hoth?" I teased.

Then suddenly, as if a switch had been flicked, our ship was shot at, and we hit the ground of a planet at record speed. I passed out after I was thrown out of the window and hit something grainy below.

The next thing I knew, something hard was pressed into my throat. I was also very, very hot. I rubbed my eyes and tried to sit up, but found I couldn't. I wasn't restrained, but my head swam when I moved. "Ugh... where am I?" I asked. "I was going to ask you a similar thing," A voice snarled from above. My heart suddenly dropped at the familiarity. I sighed and tried to look up. "Can you move the stick please, I'm not awake enough to cause damage yet, don't worry." I said, pushing the stick away from my throat. The person above me held out their hand. I grasped it firmly and pulled myself up. "You've got a pretty serious head wound there, you'll need to cover that up." A woman's voice spoke. "Yeah, I will. But I wanna know where I am first," I insisted. "This planet is called Jakku." The woman said. "I have a shack a few miles that way, come. I have some gauze you can use." I followed her, too tired and too in pain to resist.

"So, whats your name?" She asked. "I'm Kira. I don't have a last name, before you ask." I replied, feeling miserable in the heat. "Oh, thats a nice name. I'm Rey," She said, smiling slightly. My heart dropped, but I plastered a smile on my face nonetheless.
