It has been a whole week since Mufusa and his Lion Guard had visited the Pridelands. Although, the chestnut-golden lion couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Penda. 

It felt completely weird for him, for that the hyena had fallen in love with him, and thus that doing missions had been slight less complicated. 

The young lion was just sitting near the waterfall, where that he had been going to when he is anxious. 

"Mufusa, you ok?" He heard a voice calling out to him, as he turns to the voice, as to appear to be Janna. 

"Oh, it's just you, Janna. Did Mom and Dad sent you to find me?" He asked his older sister as the brown lioness sat next to him. 

"No, I kind of figured that you would be here. I'm your sister and the future queen of the Tree of Life." She said. 

"Right. I guess that I had some um, awkward thing happened with Penda." He said, as Janna looked at her brother in confusion. 

"What you mean? I thought that you and Penda are great friends with each other as to being in the Lion Guard." 

"Well, um, she confessed to me that she was in love with me." He explained bluntly, as the lioness's eyes grew in shock. 

"Wait, are you joking around, or are you being serious?" Janna asked curiously, as that she wanted to make sure that her brother understood of what he is saying. 

"Janna, I'm being serious. Penda really confessed to me that she was truly in love with me. It's just I'm not really in love with her. " 

Janna was quiet for a moment, and then she replied, "She didn't take it all too well, didn't she? Is that why you two aren't talking to each other?"

He nodded, "Yeah. " 

"Well, I guess that things will get better, Mufusa. If I was in your paws, I would just try talking to her again, and just take it slow. I'm sure that things would be fine." 

"Thanks, Janna. I'm glad that you understand my situation." Mufusa said, felt relieved that he can tell his sister about the situation. 

"Speaking of girls, what you think of Eclipse? She really is amazing, talented lioness isn't she?" Janna asked. 

Mufusa's heart skipped a bit of hearing her name, as that Janna realized something. "Oh, I get it now. 

You rejected Penda because you already have fallen in love with someone. You had fallen in love with Zira's daughter." 

"It's too embarrassing! Don't tell Mom and Dad!" He pleaded. 

"Not telling the King and Queen of the Tree of Life that the Prince had fallen in love with another lioness from another Kingdom? That would rude." Janna point out. 

"Please!!!!!" He begged. Janna sees how personal it was for him as that she sighs. "Fine. I wouldn't breath a word to Mom and Dad. 

I still think you should at least tell them about it." Janna said. Mufusa couldn't tell his parents about his love for Eclipse yet, as that he was silent, Ona came towards the two lions. 

"Mufusa!" The hamerkop yelled as Mufusa asked, "Ona, what's wrong?"

"There are a couple of lions attacking in the Snowy Entrance of the Tree of Life, and it's not a welcoming type." Ona said. 

"That's not a good sign. I'm so sorry that our time together has been short, Sis." Mufusa apologized. 

"Go, you and the Lion Guard has to do some business to attend to . I'll tell our parents what is going on." 

"Ona, assemble the guard. I'll take the short route to the Snowy Entrance." Mufusa said. 

The Night Guard rushes forward to see a ragtag rouge lions attacking the animals inhabiting the Snowy plains. 

"Hey, back off!" Mufusa declared as the rouge lions see the group. 

"Who are you, pint?" The lion declared.

"We happened to be the Night Guard, the newest version of the Lion Guard,  and you have to state your business here, or else you'll be sorry." Muffy said. 

The lion looked at the group, "The Lion Guard, but I thought that was an urban legend. The Lion Guard was long gone when Scar rose to power." 

"Things had changed since. Scar was defeated long ago, with the previous guard's help. What is your agenda?" Mufusa  asked, looking at the leader suspiciously.

"My name is Meetu. I am looking for assistance to fight against the Shadow Pride." 

Eclipse continues going on forward, pacing herself to seek out the love of her life. It was extremely long journey as she expected. 

Thanks to Simba's guidance of how to travel to the Tree of Life, she couldn't handle her excitement. 

"I can't wait to see his expression when he truly realized that I travelled all the way from the Pridelands. 

It would be an amazing surprise for him.  I'm scared of how he would take it. I truly hope that nothing bad happens when I arrived there ." She thought in mind. 

Just thinking of the expressions and emotions she bottled up inside of meeting the Prince of the Tree of Life, it truly helped of her true passion to be at his side, no matter the cost. 

As she continues onward, the lioness spotted an oasis . "This is the perfect spot to rest up. I've been walking all day and i'm exhausted." She said. 

She laid down to rest herself, as she thought to herself, "Mufusa, i'll see you very soon, i promise."

Unknown to her surroundings, there was a enemy lurking nearby and seems to be waiting for the right moment to pounce her for a surprise attack.

In the Pridelands, Queen Kiara was really worried. "Kiara, what's the matter?" The golden lioness looked of who was talking to her, it was her mate, Kovu. 

"I was thinking about Eclipse that's all. I'm wondering if she ever made it to the Tree of Life on her own. 

I know she's a great huntress but sometimes I intend to worry even though she's not my daughter though." 

The brown lion laughs, "She would be fine, Kiara, she was indeed raised by my mother after all. She can handle herself. In some way, she reminds me a lot like us when we were young. We intend to break some royal rules remember?"

She was blushing of the memories of when she first met Kovu as a cub as they indeed get into trouble .

"Fair point. " She said, as then Nala appears with urgent news. "Kiara, it's Rafiki, he wants to see you right away." 

Both lions were curious of why the wise baboon would want to see her, as Kovu said, "You can fill me in later, go." 

She nods as she gave him a loving kiss on the cheek before leaving her mate behind. 

"What could be so urgent at a time like this?" She thought in her mind.
