Set before the events of the Alpha Queen Trilogy. This Short Story goes back to when Iridessa first became Queen and what led her to become so angry and hurt.

Princess Iridessa Crosland loves her kingdom. She loves the sea and its beautiful crystal waters. She loves to walk the white sand beaches barefoot at dawn to see the sunrise and then set in the evenings.

But most of all, she loves her brother.

Because Iridessa would destroy anyone who dared to hurt him.
