Finn stood up from the bed and walked to the bedroom window. He pushed a curtain out of the way so he could look at the sky. There were three stars that always shone brighter than all the others, for some reason Finn always felt drawn to those stars. Part of him wanted to believe that they were Wayne, Dillard, and Walt Disney.
"He's in a better place,"Finn could hear Amanda say from behind him.
"I know,"he said back.

"I wish there was some way to tell him I know it wasn't his fault,"Dillard told the man at his side. The man had ever familiar sparkling blue eyes, although he was far younger than the man the keepers knew so well. His hair was light brown, not shiny white. He was a younger, healthier version of himself, as everyone was here, although Dillard himself hadn't changed much, not much younger or healthier to get.
From their place in the sky Wayne told him simply,"One day you will be able to, but let's pray that day doesn't come soon."
Dillard nodded his head, he looked down, through the clouded floor he stood on, into a house and looked at his friend. He smiled as saw that he had kept the promise they had made when they were no more than 10... He still lived less than a block away.
As he smiled, the star Finn looked up at twinkled and glowed just a little brighter. Finn felt a comfort pass through him, though he couldn't explain it, he had a feeling he'd had many times before, on nights like these when he broke down. This star somehow was connected to the friend he'd lost, but looking up to it made a small but of the loss fade. His tears stopped. He smiled, though his lips quivering. He didn't feel completely alone... Amanda walked over and kissed him on the cheek, she couldn't help but notice the salty taste.
"Let's go back to bed,"she whispers. He only nodded slowly, not looking away from his star.

"There we go..."the boy in the sky said, though he knew his friend couldn't hear him, he just wished that Finn knew he could hear him...
