Previously, the beasts have found a potential savior in Rosalind Price, but there's something she's not telling everyone, and Ward now knows what it is. Can he stop her plan? (Short update, sorry!)

"I'm part of a top secret agency and we came here to investigate the land without a name and the beasts who live there." I snap.

I expect Ward to say lie, but instead he leans forward, "'we'?"

I draw back, sharply. "What?"

"You said 'we', insinuating you brought more people here." Ward says. "And, by the way, truth."

I stiffen. "My life is none of your business."

He leans back, contemplating, "You're right. And my ... friends ... wouldn't believe me anyway. You know that. Where are your friends?"

I open my mouth, but there is a sound of an explosion. Our orders were to ensure there weren't more beasts elsewhere, and exterminate the beasts already here. One of our people must have figured out the answer.

"I see." Ward says. He lunges forward at fast speed. Before I know it, he knocked me to the ground and tied me up in a chair. He leaves.

The explosions have finally stopped, and Coulson enters. I sigh in relief. "Thank goodness you're here. Quick! Untie me. Ward stuck me in here and started bombing."

"Drop the act." Coulson scowls. "Ward told me what happened. Besides, we saw him-" Coulson shudders, "rip off the heads of your men."

It's my turn to shudder, "Please"

"Was it all a lie?" Coulson asks. I remember how we had flirted. I acted nice to everyone, but especially him. I had acted into him. I raise my chin.

"Yes. It was all a lie."
