~*ONE*~

"Happy Birthday son!" Jack's mother said, removing her hands from his eyes.

"Wow!" Jack's happy demeanor changes as soon as he sees himself in the mirror, "I'm the surprise?"

Jack's mother erupted into a fit of laughter at his comment. When she was done laughing you wiped her eyes with her finger and said,

"No son, the mirror is your present."

"But Mother, isn't this the mirror that was in your room?" Jack says eyeing the mirror once more.

"Well yes, but I think you're old enough, and responsible enough to take care of the mirror yourself."

"Take care of it?"

"Yes son, you must keep it clean and make sure not to break it, of course."

"Thanks mom..." Jack said trying to sound happy.

"You're welcome!" His mother said excitedly, "Now go on, take it to your room and clean it up!"

Jack Groaned quietly and picked up the mirror and brought it into his room, and sat it up against his wall. He stared at the mirror with Disdain, hating it so much that it was in his life. This Mirror just ruined his brithday, instead of getting something cool like a slinky, he got some boring and very old mirror. Yes it was a beautiful mirror with it's gold frame, but it was big, larger than him, and he rather tall for his age, but despite it being so tall it was very lightweight, he was sure a small child could pick it up.  The more and more he thought about the mirror the stranger it seemed to be such as, how could a mirror with a gold frame be so lightweight, and he was sure it was real gold as for it was not tarnished in the slightest and it had not chips on it, but then again his mother had taken very good care of the mirror for many years, not even letting him near it in his younger days. Remembering this made Jack groan aloud,

"Jack Honey? Everything alright?" Jack's mother called to him.

"Yes mother everything is fine!"

"Great! them come and get the cleaning supplies!"

Jack groaned once more and trudged down the stairs into the open area where his mother was with a bucket and other cleaning supplies in her hands."

Jack takes the bucket from his mother's hands and turns to walk away when she speaks again,

"Oh and be careful."

Jack turns and gives her a confused look,

"You know, make sure you don't smear, crack or break the glass of course." Jack's mother said smiling.

Jack slowly nods and goes back up to his bedroom. He began cleaning the mirror, starting with the gold frame. As he was cleaning it, he saw something moving in the corner of his eye. He turned to see what appeared to be a blue butterfly trapped inside the glass. Jack was confused and looked around the mirror for any cracks or holes in which the butterfly could have gotten in from, there was nothing. He looked back at the butterfly and noticed that it wasn't squeeze in, it appeared to be on the other side of the mirror, just sitting there. It was as if the mirror was actually a window. He got closer to inspect what he was seeing, and yes he could see everything going on in there. There was grass and things up in the trees, it was kind of hard to see as if he was under water or something, but he could make out everything pretty well. He stared to get lost into looking around the  mirror, looking at various things, when a girl approached. She was the most beautiful girl Jack had ever seen. She had vibrant red hair that drowned her shoulders and a her dress was so unique it was black on the top and had red, black, and white on the bottom. And on her face she had one black heart under her right eye and a white one under the other. He called to her but she did not hear him no matter how loud he got. He then tried to bang onto the glass, but was surprised when his fist went into the glass. No it didn't break, it just went through, like as if he stuck his hand into water. He was stunned at this, but before he could react he was pulled fully into the mirror.

Bonus* Amelia's dress(bc I did a bad job explaining it)
