It had only been about an hour since Amanda left but Finn found himself missing her more than he could bare. That seemed to be happening often now actually. Missing her as soon as she leaves. Hours seem like seconds together and like years apart. He'd never be satisfied with what time he got with her even if they never left each other's sight. He needed her. He hoped she needed him back. He finally just texted instead of putting himself through the agony of trying to leave her  alone for a little while.

"AMANDA LOCKHART YOU ARE NOT GETTING THIS BACK UNTIL YOU LEARN TO USE IT!" Jess was scolding Amanda, holding her phone over her head. She was upset but it was from love, Amanda knew. Although she was being a bit dramatic.
Jess sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry. I know you like him a lot. That you're gonna be spending a lot of time with him all that. But you're still my sister and I love you and part of me isn't ready for you to love someone because I'm afraid he'll totally take you away. Or something. And then I'm also happy for you because I can see he loves you too. But you still need to answer me. You can't just let me think your off dead in a hole somewhere. Ok?!" Jess accompanied this speech with some pacing and dramatic hand gestures.
"Jess, I'm so sorry. Nothing will ever take me away from you and I'm sorry. I promise I'll be more careful and message you and...and...I love you Jess. You know that." Amanda stood up and hugged her sister. After their sisterly moment had subsided, Amanda snuck her hand into her sisters back pocket and took the phone that had been placed there.
Jess giggled and it was a fight for the phone.
Amanda won.
There was a text from Finn.
Hey, Mandy. Is it stupid I already miss you?
Amanda giggled and Jess, who was reading over her sisters shoulder rolled her eyes.
