"Ven? Ven, wake up!" She kissed him again but it didn't work. She whimpered and pulled away.

"Gemma?" Aqua asked her, hopes raising. She looked at her with sad eyes.

"Aqua!" She hugged her and cried in her shoulder. "It isn't right! It's not fair!"

Aqua smiled; she remembered. But that joy was short lived. Gemma gasped and backed up to another wall, not to far from where Ven was. Her hand slowly turned crystal.

"SIS!!" Little Mai ran to her side, followed by Aqua. She smiled at Mai.

"Sis, you behave for Master Yen Sid and Master Aqua, you hear me young lady?"

The little redhead teared up and took her crystalized hand. "I -I'll be good..."

The older sibling smiled and lightly chuckled, "That's my girl... Love you, my little princess..."

She sniffed, wiping her tears with her free hand. She sadly smiled, "Love you too, sissy."

Gemma looked towards Aqua with a weak smile. The bluette tucked her ear like a mom would her child. "I'll watch her with all my power."

"C-can you bring Ven and Mai to a safe place?"

"Of course. Somehow, I'll make things right, sis..."

Tears fell upon her hearing that and she warmly smiled. She whispered the next words ever so softly and kept her usual smile the whole time.

"Thank you..."

As the blue eyed girl closed her eyes, she leivated from the ground. The bandage around her stomach unwrapped itself and revealed a green and white light. When it faded, it was as if nothing happened in the first place- not even a scar was left behind. Her ivory skin slowly turned to crystal amd she placed her hands on her heart. A single crystal tear fell from her eye, floating gently towards Ven. The tear safely landed in his hand and he unconsciously held on to it. Her body was fully imprisoned in crystal.

"Whoa! Sissy looks pretty!" Mai said, sad yet amazed by the transformation

"Just like the legends foretold." Master Yen Sid said.

"Legends?"

"Keyblade wielder's child die and the mother is bestowed the curse of eternity. Thus, forever in a crystal prison." Aqua sighed in shook her head, "No, I don't believe it! She'll be free. I don't know how exactly, but I'll be there with Ven and Terra by my side. Together, we'll wake her up."

Mai gasped as she opened her eyes. She looked around the train and finally to Sora. She sighed; if only she was there to protect her sister. Her child would have been here along with Gemma. Oh how things would be different, indeed. She took a longer glance out the window, tearing up.

"Mai?" She felt a hand come to her cheek. Of course, it was Sora's. "Why are you crying?"

"I just... miss my sister..." She nuzzled his hand, putting her hand on top of his. "Sorry if I woke up up, pumpkin."

"It's okay." He hugged her. "Mai, can you tell me about you're sister?"

"Sure. She's a Keyblade Master, who is really serious when it comes to training with others. She can be strict and seemingly cold, but that's how you know she cares about you. She works with you if she does. Around her friends, especially her fiancé, her smiling and bubbly personality usually shows." She sadly smiled. The train's carpet never looked any more fascinating to her. "A lot happened 10 years ago, though. Gemma was expecting but..."

Sora blinked when she stopped and frowned when the redhead whimpered, "But...?" Mai looked in his eyes, which were filled with tears and were threatening to spill. The saddness and heartache in her face and voice made Sora lowered his head. "Sorry... I shouldn't force you."

"Aqua, one of the people who helped raise me, said someone killed the baby while it was still in the oven." Sora widened his eyes in horror as she said that.

"Why would anyone do that to a poor innocent child?" He asked and she shook her head.

"I don't know... But she turned to crystal and should be at Master Yen Sid's Tower." She looked over at Donald and Goofy, who were asleep on the other seats. "I don't know when I'll see her again."

"It's okay, you will. I'll make sure of it." He stroked her bright red locks and tried to calm her down. She smiled and kissed him, deeply and passionately. His response was kissing back and deepening the kiss. He rubbed her sides and she jolted a bit in surprise, her moaning into the kiss and pulling away.

"Sora..." She whispered in his ear. "Please wait a little longer..."

"Why?"

' 'Why', he asks...' Mai growled and bite his cheek.

"OW!! OKAY, OKAY!! I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY!!" He shouted and the other two woke up. She huffed and pushed him into the floor; men and their urges...

"Gwarsh, that was kind of loud..." Goofy yawned.

"You palookas are too lou-" Donald stopped when he saw Sora on the floor, rubbing his cheek, and Mai glared at him.

"I'm sorry, what did you say, duck boy? Say that again so I can hear this damn time." She challenged him and he gulped.

"Uh, n-nevermind..." He looked away and Sora sighed, feeling bad about making her mad.

"Flower, I'm sorry..." He said. She saw him looking at the carpet instead of her. She sighed and sat down to his right, smirking.

"Oh believe me, I'll get you back." she whispered, half angry and the other half flirtatiously, against his ear and his cheeks went red. She was seducing him... Well serves him right, she thought.

Donald and Goofy raised an eyebrow as she pulled away from him, leaving him flustered and unmoving. Once she stood up, the train on the tracks came to a screeching halt, which made her almost fall forward. The door opened and she nervously giggled, never stand up on a halting train.

"Come on, let's go!" Donald said.

Once they were off the train, it sped of and disappeared. Both Mai and Sora were creeped out by its disappearance.

"Well, that's not natural..." She sweat dropped and Sora nervously laughed.

"There goes our ride." Sora tilted his head to the side. They walked up to the door of a huge tower. "Is this the tower you mentioned?"

"Yeah! Sis is here!" Mai smiled until she saw someone at the door, "Hey! What's going on?

"I sent some of my lackeys inside to see if the Master of this here tower's as big and tough as they say. Word is he's a real powerful sorcerer, which would make him the perfect bodyguard for me. See, it don't matter how tough he is, once he's a Heartless, he'll do as I say!"

"A Heartless!?" Donald exclaimed and Mai crossed her arms.

"That's right!" The guy started to explain his plan about going to other worlds and how's he working with Maleficent.

"Yeah, yeah that's nice... But why are you telling us this, you baka?" She asked.

"... you've got a point. I have a busy schedule as is! So scram, pipsqueaks!" The fat cat said.

Mai raised an eyebrow, "Pipsqueaks? I can make you road kill in a spilt second, kitty boy!"

"Says who?" He turned around and gasped when he saw Donald and Goofy. "Huh? What are you two nimrods doing here?"

"We should be asking, what are YOU doing here?!" Donald glared at him. Both Mai and Sora were confused.

"You know him?" Sora asked.

"We sure do. He's been causing trouble for ages. King Mickey banished him to another dimension a long time ago. I wonder how he got out." Goofy said and Pete laughed.

"You wanna know how, eh? Well, Maleficent busted me out, that's how! Now your world- no, no, no! All worlds are going to belong to yours truly. Cause Maleficent's gonna help me conquer 'em." Mai tilted her head.

"Maleficent, huh?" Sora asked, seemingly amused. Everyone laughed except for Mai, who was still trying to piece together.

"What are you three laughing at?" Pete asked. It suddenly clicked in her head. "Why, Maleficent is so great-"

"Oh, is it the Maleficent we defeated?" The red head asked and Sora nodded, oblivious to her simple-mindedness.

"Yep, she's toast!" He chuckled as he said that.

"So you're the ones who did it!" He growled.

"Maybe~" she smirked, closing one eye. Sora gulped nervously and blushed; Why was she so cute?

"W-well, we may have something to do with it." He said scratching the back of his head. Pete was infuriated.

"Heartless squad, round up!" Pete barked. They quickly pulled out their weapons and Mai smirked.

"Give it it your best shot!" She said and they fought with them until they disappeared.

"Oh just you wait! Nobody, and I mean nobody, messes with the mighty Pete!"

"Mighty isn't the word... Unless you say mighty stupid." Mai smirked at him and he growled. She remembered something, "Oh yeah! Master Yen Sid is here, too! Sora, I want you too meet him!"

"What's he like?" Sora asked.

"He's compassionate towards his students... Unless you get on his bad side, according to the king!" Donald said and ran into the tower.

"The king?" She and Sora looked at each other.

"Uh-huh, Yen Sid is the King's teacher!" Goofy said and they turned to him.

"Wow, sounds powerful!" Sora mumbled.

"Uh-huh! I didn't know that about him and Mickey though!" She giggled, "Come on, let's go!"

They ran off to leave behind a very upset Pete.

They ran through the tower and up the stairs whilst fighting the heartless, until they stopped in the room before Master Yen Sid's room.

"Geez, things never change. Heartless are everywhere!" Donald sighed.

"Good thing were on the job, a-yhuck!" Goofy said and Sora pouted.

"So the worlds aren't at peace after all?" He sighed.

"Darkness... There's still darkness in people's hearts." She glued her eyes to the ground.

They entered the room and stood in front of him. Donald and Goofy stood straight and Sora waved.

"Hiya!" He grinned and Donald growled.

"Sora, show some respect!" Donald scolded.

"Master Yen Sid, this is-" Goofy was about to continue but Yen Sid raised his hand. Mai smiled as he stood up. He was the same old wizard as she could remember.

"Young Sora, Princess Mai, it is an honor to meet the young couple King Mickey has told me about." He smiled and they looked at each other, blushing bright. "You are a splitting image of your mother, Mai. You even have one of the bracelets your mother made her children."

She looked down at her bracelet and sadly smiled, tearing up. She wiped it quickly. "It's nice to see you again, Master. Do you remember me?"

"Exceedingly well. You were little but now you have grown, princess." He said and bowed his head as a respect. She smiled and curtsied back.

"I'm grateful you remember!" She straighten up and grinned. Yen Sid smiled and nodded.

"May I ask if you seen the king yet?" He asked.

"Well..." She scratched her cheek.

"Yes, we did, Master. But we didn't get a chance to talk to him." Goofy answered.

"Just as I expected. The king has been quite busy of late. Therefore it would seem that the task of instructing you four falls upon my shoulders. You have a perilous journey ahead of you. You must be well prepared." Master Yen Sid explained.

"We have to go on another quest?" Sora asked. "We were looking forward to finding our friends and going back to islands."

"And I wanted to see my sister again, Master, as well as Aqua, Terra, Ven, Lea, and Mema!" She put a hand to her heart. Yen Sid sighed in dismay. She frowned at his reaction, what has happened?

"Yes, I know, you two. But everything in your journey is connected. Your highness, I might have to speak with you after this." She blinked but still nodded.

"Yes, master." Sora picked up nervousness and held her hand, kissing her cheek. She turned her head to him with a smile. Yen Sid talked about all the enemies out there, which included the heartless, Dusks, and Nobodies, who were a part of Organization XIII.

"There must be something very fishy about that Organization." Mai crossed her arms.

"We have to go find the king first! He might know where Noel and Riku are!" Sora declared.

"But where could he be?" Donald asked.

"Well, we don't know 'til we look." Goofy said and Mai's heart filled with determination.
