Chapter 1

I sat down on the shore and sighed. How many days has it been since I've been here? I'd say at least three weeks. And searching for Riku and Mickey? Seems near to impossible. How did we get separated?

Well...

It was soon after we defeated all the darksides. Just before the last one died, It opened up a portal. I casted Reflectaga to an unconscious Riku and Mickey. A strong wind blasted me and I fell in that portal and told Mickey to take care of Riku. I ended up here... the Dark Margin.

Piri's POV

"Along the road ahead is something you need." A guy in a black coat disappeared behind Sora. He turned around to face him and no one was there. Panicking, he looked around and finally the guy reappeared behind him again. Sora caught him this time. "However, in order to claim it, you must lose something that is dear to you."

Sora ran towards him but he disappeared again. Silence cut through the dark night. And the image faded into a blonde girl with a girl who looked like my mother.

"What are they going to do to us?" the bluette asked.

"I don't know. But everything is going to change. Is she close?" the blonde said almost in a whisper. "We can't let them know about her presence or where she is."

Once again, it changed into something else.

"Did I get out of the darkness?" Riku asked, sitting from a grey floor in a grey room and held his head, "Hey, Piri... King Mickey..." he looked around and we were no where to be seen. "Guys? Piri? Your Majesty? ... Where are you two?"

"Your friends is far away," Ansem's voice rang out in the semi-dark room. "Leave the war with darkness in their hands. You stay here and sleep. In this area between light and dark. Here, as long as you're blanketed by light, sleep is safe. Sleep will protect you forever."

I shot my eyes open with cold sweat running down my forehead, plastering my bangs to my forehead. It might not be a long bang but... yeah. I also let my hair out of my braid more often.

I panted as I looked out to the realm's moon. It was all a dream... was it? I calmed down and sighed. This was really a strange feeling: I know I should be worried but my friends. But for some reason, emotions have been out of wack for me. I shook my head.

"The darkness..." I fretted, "It's getting to me..."

"It'll be okay, mommy! Don't be afraid-"

"I'm not afraid! Especially not of the darkness!" I glared at the ground.

"She didn't say anything about the dark, blueberry." That was the voice of my darkside again.

"Bug off!" I yelled.

"Leave mommy alone!"

"Oh, she is so your daughter, blu-"

"Stop calling me blueberry!" I swear it would be damned if I was going to be insane once this is all over with...

"Don't listen to her, mommy! She just a meanie!" I snickered at this.

"Wow, shot down by a four-week-old... my pour heart..."

"Tsk, what heart? Darksides don't have hearts." I coldly said. "Can I speak with my daughter alone?"

"How am I suppose to-"

"That means get out of my body!" I blasted my darkness and it surrounded one spot. My darkside appeared and she huffed.

"I hate when you do that!" she huffed again and I sweat dropped at this. "I never did check this place out-"

"Goodbye, blackberry!" I glared and she laughed.

"I love it when you get mad." My glare softened and I looked back at the moon. She was a harsh reminder to keep a cool head. "Aw, since you're going to be a baby about it, I'll leave you two..."

After she was gone, I made sure she was gone.

"She's gone, mama, don't get mad."

"Kiyoko..." I sighed, "I'm not sure how much more I can take of this. First, I lost Sora, Donald, and Goofy, next, Riku and Mickey... and I may be next on the-"

"Don't say stuff like that! Sure, we lost daddy, Uncle Sora, and the others, but you got me. Please don't give up!"

I smiled and continued to look at the moon, "Love, I'll never give up for you."

"For daddy, too?" I heard yawning and chuckled at this.

"Him and Uncle Sora, too." I rubbed my stomach, "Get some rest, sweetie, you'll need it."

Night, mommy..."

"Good night..." after a few minutes, I heard light snoring. I smiled as a tear ran down my face.

My wayfinder suddenly glowed and I picked it up. Through it, I heard Aqua crying.

"AQUA!" I got up and looked around. I ran towards the crying and found her with Blackberry.

"I-it can't be..." she sobbed and blackberry turned to look at my face.

"Aqua!" I ran up to her and hugged her. "Aqua, it's okay."

"Piri!" She gave me a death hug. I'm totally used to it but this was a urgent hug, more than I have ever gotten, "Sis, I love you with all my heart! Stay with me and don't leave, please!"

"What?" I looked at Blackberry, madder than a hornet, "What the hell did you say to her?"

"Oh, nothing..." she grinned and started to faded. "Why don't you ask her."

Aqua growled and tears were still visible on her face. The waves from the Dark Realm's ocean crashed against shore as the Keyblade Master whimpered and held me.

"Reese, I'm sorry I let that happen..." My breath hicthed in my throat at this. What did she know? Was it my emotions wacked up? Or was it- "That girl told me about you and Riku. He was controlled by the darkness, wasn't he? I didn't think he would've done that."

"No, he wouldn't have. He was being controlled by..." I gulped and nervously frowned, "By Xehanort's heartless."

"What? A heartless?"

"Yeah and he took me and Riku captive." I then smiled, "I won't be here if it wasn't for my little brother."

"Little brother?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, uh..." I scratched the back of my head, "You see-"

Several heartless surrounded us and we got in our fight stances. I realized then that we use almost the same battle strategies as each other. She performed backflips and somersaults as I with swift and agility. Both of us were skilled at magic, though I was more of a healer than her. After a few heartless were knocked out, more came a made a tower of heartless. They jumped after me but Aqua shoved me out of the way. Just in time for her to get hit.

"Aqua!" I got up and stepped forward. I suddenly felt dizzy. "So... Sleepy..."

I fought the urge long enough to see The demon tower and Aqua disappear.

"Aq... ua..." I fell to the side and closed my eyes. What's happening to me?
