‘....Mamiko? Is there...something wrong with me?’

‘What? Why would you ask that?’

‘....everyone in my class says I’m weird since I like playing with swords and I like playing sports, and when I play with dollies, I let them kiss, even though they're both girl dolls...they're treating me like a freak...so am I one?’

‘ Oh Shio….there’s nothing wrong with you. Those kids don’t know what they are saying. Just because you let dolls regardless of the gender kiss, or the fact that you prefer toys like swords and playing sports more than what the other kids think doesn’t make you weird or a freak. It just makes you unique, and there is nothing wrong with that, alright?’

‘...ok Mamiko.’

‘ Now, is there anything else bothering you dear?’

‘...how come me, Stormy, and big brother don’t have a mama and papa? People at school are always making fun of me saying I’m the orphan girl and that nobody wants a freak like me. Everyone else has them or has one parent, and they always talk about how great they are. How come we don’t have any?...did they not want us?’

‘ What?! No! I’m sure they wanted you Shio! They’re probably worried sick about you, and your siblings!’ 

‘ Then why aren’t they with us?! Do they not love us?! It’s not fair! You knew your mommy and daddy! So did Sora, Zain, and Riku! How come me, Stormy or River, or even Kairi don’t have them here?! It’s not fair!’

‘ SHIO!”

A short blue-haired girl woke up, snapping her eyes open as she stared at the ceiling as she groaned, the sun was hitting her face as she tried covering her face with her pillow to get more sleep, trying to forget that memory of when she was only six years old and other bad memories of people bullying her, before she heard her door being knocked

“ What?” she groaned

“ C’mon Shio, time to get up! Mamiko wants us to get ready so we can finish the raft, and head to the islands!” she heard a certain silver head boy said through her door as she groaned more and snuggled into her pillow, still wanting to sleep in, just for five more minutes, to maybe have a dream of a happy family with her and her siblings…. w̨̛̹̮̟͙̽̾̆͘i̭̕͟͞t̺̜̜͈͊̏̈́̓͢͠h̳̃ ̖̭̅͂mā̪̠͉͗͠y̡̦͗̓̏͟b̡̳͕̠̳̒͂̊̅͊ě̜̙͍͂́͢͡ ̧̜̈̚t̹͕̓̈́͆͟h͚̯̓̀e̥̠̪͋̇̓i̗͐r̫͘ ̟͎̻́̎͆p̡̩̼͌̇͘a̭̣̾̓re̬͛ň͈̳͠t͔̤̰̲̀̈́̋͞s̯͘͞ͅ.̡̾.̨͉̭̗͂̈́̉͐.̙͂͒͟.̨͍͔̺̃̐͗̄

“ SHIO!”

“ ALRIGHT! I’m up!” she snapped, growling as she sat up, “ Calm your tits you silver ugly ass blobfish…” she grumbled, getting off her bed to get ready for the day, as she put down a pink and white spider plushie that had one good eye and one black eye with a pink dot in it. 

“ Jeez, it’s like you just get more annoying the older you get or something you short blueberry muffin…” she heard Riku grumble, as a vein appeared on her forehead. Oh, she was going to get him back for that...

She opened her closet as she went through her clothes for the day, there was the stupid girly dress Riku gave her, which had ruffles and glitter and cutesy stuff. For the second outfit, was a black t-shirt with some jeans, with a black cat hoodie. The next outfit was a black tank top with purple straps in a kinda cool ‘X’, and then there was a skirt that was from a dark blue to a lighter shade of it, with some black stockings and some sneakers. She looked at the outfits and decided she would wear third outfit, with the black cat hoodie, as she thought would be a good idea as she quickly got dressed, looked in the mirror and saw her hair a mess as she sighed, giving it a quick brush to make sure no snarls were in it.

She grabbed her backpack that was a pink cat that had things like a book of ideas to mock people and hypnotize people inside it, as she also grabbed her metal bat as well. She paused for a moment as she saw a picture frame on her wall, that had her, her older sister Stormy, and her twin brother in it, Shio had an evil and mischievous look on her face, Stormy’s twin had a big grin on his face, while Stormy had a small and shy smile.

Shio looked at the picture with a tiny smile, feeling happy and her tough exterior disappearing for a moment, as she looked at her family that she knew at least being happy and such, her real personality showing for a moment before she heard a certain someone using probably the broomstick to hit the ceiling, “ SHIO!!”

“ I’M COMING!! JUST CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!” the eleven-year-old shouted, stomping on the ground, her smile and her real personality gone as she groaned, opening her door and slamming it as she walked downstairs as she saw a almost middle age woman with silver hair making breakfast and Riku looking at Shio as she saw it was like she thought, he still held the broomstick as he put it down

“ Jeez, took you long enough. What were you doing, putting on makeup and trying to look pretty? Because you can’t fix ugly.” Riku asked with a smirk, joking with her a little as Shio scoffed, an evil smirk on her face “ Wow, I guess you really are a piece of shit, huh? I guess I can’t fix your ugly face ether, huh you little son of a bi-”

“ OK! Breakfast is done! Eat.” Mamiko said, her voice holding no arguments to be said as Riku glared at Shio, she flipped him off as Mamiko sighed, shaking her head.

“ Ok, I have things to do today, so you 2 can go to the islands, and continue with the raft. Riku, make sure Shio doesn’t get into too much trouble but don’t be overbearing, and Shio...just don’t cause anyone to break an arm or something like that from your mischief... I don’t want to deal with Sora’s mom calling me, when I’m busy, freaking out because you accidentally tripped him, and he fell forward and his two front teeth went up into his gums, and he ended up having to get surgery and braces for that, since his teeth was messed up…and stop cursing.” she sighed

Shio pouted but said, “ Alright...I promise I won’t break or hurt any bones with my tricks and stuff.” she said, but she didn’t say anything about the cursing part, as Mamiko sighed, knowing that was the best she was going to get. 

“ Good. Now, eat up.” she told them as they both started to eat as Mamiko said, “ Oh, right, Shio, your sister stopped by, she said she was going to be able to come to the island today.” Shio was about to take a bite of her pancakes before she paused, surprised looking up at Riku looked surprised as well as he asked, “ Wait, Stormy’s coming to the island? I thought her dad said she was going to be busy all summer!” 

“ Well, apparently he decided to let her have a break today before she gets all busy and such. So if you hurry up, you can go see he-Shio!” Shio quickly snarfed the rest of her food down, as she put the plate into the sink as she ran out the door, running to the dock as Shiro and Riku called out for her. 

‘ Stormy’s not busy, and she can be with me and River and everyone else...that’s super rare! I need to hurry! Who knows when this opportunity will come up again!? She and River are the only family I have...and I see River every day, but’s so rare to see Storrmy thanks to the fucking asshole! She’s the only one who can see through my act...and I can see her act as well….and even if we don’t have any parents...and everyone I know, from my classmates at school, Tidus, Wakka and Selphie and other’s, they always talk about how great it is to have parents and such. Well guess what, I don’t need any! I can take care of myself just fine! I mean, our parents probably didn’t care about us! That’s why we ended up here! I don’t need them!’

‘...right?’
