???: Why can't I go outside?

???: The outside world is a dangerous place. You must stay here, where you're safe. Do you understand, flower?

A girl with very long golden hair, wearing a purple dress, was leaning near her window, looking sad. She then looked outside her window and smiled. Outside in the night sky were bright lights, spreading throughout the night, starry sky.

Long-Haired Girl: (thoughts) Those lights appear every year on my birthday-only on my birthday. And I can't help but feel like they're...they're meant for me. I need to see them. And not just from my window... In person. I have to know what they are.

After leaving the Toy Box, the gang had now arrived at a new world and were taking a stroll in a picturesque forest on a bright and sunny day. As they did, Goofy puts his hand up to block the sun.

Goofy: It sure is a pretty day.

Wendy: This forest is really pretty.

Lucy: I'll say, (spins around) it's beautiful.

Sora: (stretches his arms behind his head) Yeah, the weather is great. It'd be perfect for a picnic.

Erza: (from a far off distance) That is a wonderful idea.

The group turned and saw Erza now in a white sundress laying on a blanket that was on the ground, with baskets, plates, and food.

Sora: (stunned) You're kidding, right?

Erza: I've always dreamt of having one. A picnic.

Donald: (wondering) What's with her?

Wendy: Erza really wanted a picnic when me, Carla, and Cana were out on an adventure. But we were interrupted by a group of guys, and she got really mad.

Goofy: Really?

Erza: (grab Sora hand) Now, shall we?

Sora: Huh?

Erza: (hold up a sandwich) Open wide.

Sora: (blush) Wow, hold on!

Erza: What? You don't like the sandwich?

Sora: (blush) No, it's not like that. It's just...

Erza: (tilt her head) Just what?

Sora: (blush) Umm... Are you going to feed me like that?

Erza: (looks at her sundress) What? You don't like the color of my sundress

Sora: (blush) I'm not talking about your dress.

Erza: Then what?

Sora: I... (sighs) Never mind.

Erza: Okay, now open up. (bring the sandwich up near his mouth) 

Sora, embarrassingly, opened up his mouth and took a bite off the sandwich. Soon, everyone joined in and was on the blanket eating.

Donald: Anyway, why do you think we came here?

Sora: Got me.

Goofy: We'll figure it out as we go. (take a bit out a sandwich)

Donald: (sighing) Okay.

Erza: But for now, let us enjoy the nature of beauty. (took a bite of sandwich) Yummy.

Sora: I'm sure we were brought to this world for some good reason, but can't we sweat it later?

Natsu: It's probably a new power up or a new ally to help us!

Happy: Way to use your noggin' Natsu!

Donald: Fine with me, as long as there's no Heartless.

Gray: You just had to say it, didn't you?

Donald: What do you me-

They then heard a yell and stopped eating to search their surroundings. They then saw a man rolling down from a cliff and landing on the dirt ground. 

As he got up, he turned and saw a bunch of Heartless, which consisted of some Puffball and Bizarre Archers jumping down from the cliff. He then started to run towards the group.

???: (wave his arms) Make way! Make way! Make way!

The man ran past the group while the Heartless stepped on their food, making Erza break her fork with her hand. 

Sora: Heartless!

Everyone except Erza got ready to fight.

Gray: (to Donald) See?! As soon as you mention the thing you don't want to happen again, it happens!

Laxus: So much for the picnic. 

Donald: I didn't do it!

Sora: S'okay. Let's send these guys packing.

Lucy: (backs away from Erza) It's not okay, Sora!

Man: (from behind the tree) Say, since you guys seem to know what you're doing, mind if I leave this one to you?

Natsu: Yup. We'll take care of these guys! Go on, skedaddle!

Man: You have my thanks! (sighs in relief and to himself) The horse was enough. Don't need any monsters on my trail.

Donald: (overheard him) The what was enough?

Flynn: Oh, nothing, nothing. Name's Flynn. Flynn Rider. (brings their attention back to the Heartless) Ohh! Watch out, they look mad! 

Everyone looks at the Heartless as Flynn slowly sneaks away.

Flynn: Slowly... Slowly... (runs away) Outta here!

Erza: (finally stood up) How dare they do this to me! (pissed off) I'M GONNA MAKE YOU PAY FOR RUINING MY PICNIC!!!

Erza requipped into Lightning Empress armor and fired a large blast of lightning at the Heartless, destroying them all. Everyone, except Laxus, screamed in terror and backed away very quickly.

Sora: (nervous) She's always like this?!

Happy: Yup!

Erza then looked at Donald. His entire body was shaking from head to toe, for fear of Erza's wrath.

Erza: (calm tone) Where is that man? Flynn Rider, was it?

Donald collapsed and something white came out of him.

Happy: Something came out of him!

Sora: He skedaddled.

Lily: I have to admit, he did run away pretty fast.

Goofy: (points to the path ahead) I think I saw him head thataway.

Sora: Huh? But "thataway" is...just a dead end.

Goofy: Yeah. That's puzzling.

Donald: Well, did he?

Goofy then crosses his arms, and begins thinking.

Natsu: I got his scent. And it's in that direction.

Sora: Are you sure?

Natsu: Never underestimate a Dragon Slayer's nose! (crouched down and sniffed the dirt)

Gajeel: Lead the way, Salamander.

The group followed Natsu as he stayed on the ground and sniffed the area like a dog, eventually stopping at a large rock with green plants on it.

Donald: He couldn't have come this way.

Natsu: He definitely came here, but... 

Goofy: But what?

Natsu: His scent keeps going here, but there's nothing left in this area.

Wendy: Yeah, same here.

Laxus: These woods are really strange

Juvia: Do you think there's a secret passage in these woods?

Sora went up towards the rock with the green plants and examined it.

Sora: Well, at least he got away safe. Right?

Sora decided to lean against the rock. But just when he could, he fell through the green plants on the rock. 

Goofy: Hey! Now Sora's gone, too!

Juvia: Darling? Where did you go?

Natsu: No, he's still here. I can smell him.

Gray: Then where did he go?

Sora: This way, guys! It's a secret passage!

Wendy: Sora's voice came from the plants.

Goofy grabbed the plants and pulled them apart, revealing a long dark cave. Sora had already started running into the cave.

Carla: Whoever did this was pretty clever, it's genius even.

Natsu: I can smell Flynn's scent! Wait up, Sora!

Sora continued to run until he stopped at what appears to be the exit of the cave, as it appears to be brightly lit.

When they all reached the exit, they saw a wide open area with tall mountains serving as fences and a waterfall behind what appears to be a tower with a purple roof, one window, and no doors.

Wendy: (starry eyes) Wow, so pretty!

Lucy: It's so quiet and peaceful here!

Lily: If you ever wanted to live in a place that's quiet, then this would be it.

Gajeel: Hey, I can smell that guy. His smell leads to that tower.

Inside the tower, Flynn's body, wrist, and legs were tied to a chair by what appears to be golden hair. The same girl, in a purple dress with long golden hair, appeared in front of him, holding a frying pan.

Flynn: (smiles) How you doing? The name's Flynn Rider. How's your day going? Huh?

The girl looked confused, but cautious. She then pointed her frying pan at Flynn threateningly, making him back away.

Girl: Who else knows my location, Flynn Rider?

Flynn: All right, hang on, Blondie.

Rapunzel: Rapunzel.

Flynn: Gesundheit. Here's the deal. I was in a situation, gallivanting through the forest, when I stumbled upon a– (eyes widened in realization) Oh! Oh no, no! No, no, no! Where is my satchel?

Flynn looks frantically around the room from his position in the chair.

Rapunzel: (smile while crossing her arms) I've hidden it. Somewhere you'll never find it.

Flynn: It's in that pot, isn't it?

Rapunzel immediately hit him in the head with her frying pan. Flynn awoke again when a small chameleon stuck his tongue in Flynn's ear. 

Flynn knocked the chameleon off his shoulder and rubbed his ear with his shoulder.

Flynn: Would you stop that?!

Rapunzel: Now it's hidden, where you'll never find it.

She then circled around the chair, her hair twisting over Flynn's legs, all while still holding the frying pan threateningly.

Rapunzel: So, what do you want with my hair? To cut it?

Flynn: Wha-?

Rapunzel: (points the frying pan at his face) Sell it?

Flynn: No! Listen, the only thing I want to do with your hair, is to get out of it. Literally!

Rapunzel: (confused) Wait. You don't want my hair?

Flynn: Why on earth would I want your hair? Look, I was being chased, I saw a tower, I climbed it, okay? End of story.

Rapunzel: You're, telling the truth?

Flynn: YES!!!

Rapunzel looked unsure. The chameleon from before appeared on her shoulder, and the lizard stared at him with an 'are you sure' look, making Flynn a little uncomfortable. The chameleon extended its tail, and it pointed at the door that was next to Rapunzel. They both walked over there to talk in private, Flynn meanwhile was struggling to break free.

After talking with the chameleon, Rapunzel walks back to Flynn.

Rapunzel: Okay, Flynn Rider. I'm prepared to offer you a deal.

Flynn: (stops struggling) A deal?

Rapunzel: Look this way.

She walked towards the curtains and pulled her hair that was around Flynn to make him see the curtains, but it only made his chair fall to the ground and squished his face against the floor. She pulled apart the curtains, revealing a painting of a grassy tree area with small lights in the sky.

Rapunzel: Do you know what these are?

Flynn: You mean the lantern thing they do for the princess?

Rapunzel: Lanterns? I knew they weren't stars. Well, tomorrow evening they will light the night sky with these "lanterns." (points at him with the frying pan) YOU will act as my guide, take me to these lanterns, and return me home safely. Then, and only then, will I return your satchel to you. That is my deal.

Flynn: Yeah... No can do. Unfortunately... (rolls the chair over) The Kingdom and I aren't exactly 'simpatico' at the moment, so I won't be taking you anywhere.

Rapunzel looked at the chameleon on her shoulder. The chameleon responded by pounding his fist into his other hand. Rapunzel got down onto the floor and started pulling Flynn towards her using her hair.

Rapunzel: Something brought you here, Flynn Rider. (tugs on the chair, getting it to stand up) Call it what you will: Fate, destiny... So I have made the decision to trust you.

Flynn: (sarcastically) A horrible decision, really.

Rapunzel: I am serious.

She pulls Flynn forward so they are now face to face with each other. Flynn coughs a little.

Flynn: Let me get this straight: take you to see the lanterns, bring you back home... then you'll give me back my satchel?

Rapunzel: I promise. (Flynn looks at her annoyed) And when I promise something, I never, ever break that promise. (Flynn raises an eyebrow at her) Ever.

Flynn: (thoughts) Oh, what to do? I cannot let her find that tiara. Okay, just think... I need the satchel and blondie has it, there might be more monsters out there... I've got it! The guys in funny outfits. They looked tough enough to come in handy. (speaks while smiling) All right, fine, I'll take you. But on one condition: my sidekicks come along.

Rapunzel: Really?!

But when she put her arms against her chest, she accidentally let go of the chair, making Flynn fall to the ground and landing hard on his face.

Rapunzel: Oops.

Meanwhile, the gang were admiring the tower in the glade.

Sora: Look at that. A tower! Let's check it out!

Carla: But, why is it out here? In the middle of nowhere with no civilization whatsoever?

Lily: Only one way to find out. Let's check it out and see what we can find.

Natsu: Race ya to the tower! (starts running)

Sora, Gray, and Gajeel: Oh yeah?! (runs after him)

Erza: I wonder who built this tower here?

Laxus: Who knows.

As they reached the tower, Natsu, Sora, Gray, and Gajeel stopped running and saw Flynn climbing down the tower.

Flynn looked and saw long golden hair flying out of the window and falling towards the ground. Flynn dodged the hair and he saw Rapunzel riding her hair down from the tower, and she was laughing. She immediately stopped when she was close to the ground. 

Carefully, Rapunzel touched the grass with her foot and brought her other foot down to the ground. She felt the grass between her toes and she sat on the ground with pure joy.

Rapunzel: (smiles) It's so soft. (looks around) I'm free... I'm really free! (runs around)

Rapunzel ran passed the group, not even noticing them, and headed towards the pond.

Natsu: Holy crap! That's a lot of hair!

Gray: No kidding!

Sora: (heads over to Flynn) Flynn, good to see you in one piece!

Flynn: (turns to see them) Guys! You're here, and just in time.

They all looked confused at what he just said. They all looked at Rapunzel while she was playing in the pond.

Sora: Oh... Who's she?

Happy: And why does she have so much hair?!

Flynn: Uh, that would be Rapunzel, something tells me this could be her first time outdoors. Give her a few minutes to get used to it.

Everyone: (shocked) First time ever?

Rapunzel: I can't believe I did this! I can't believe I did this. I can't believe I did this! (gasps and looks down.) Mother would be so furious if she knew I disobeyed her and left the tower...

Next she sat on a rock in the pond while holding a water lily. Sora, Flynn, and Erza watched from behind.

Rapunzel: But that's okay-I mean, what she doesn't know won't kill her... Right?

She then sat in a cave alone with her face buried in her legs. Flynn, Goofy, Natsu, and Happy watched from outside of the cave.

Rapunzel: Oh my gosh, this would kill her.

She then ran around in a field of flowers and kicked the leaves in the air while her hair was dragging on the ground. Flynn, Donald, Gajeel, and Lily watched from the sidelines.

Rapunzel: This is so fuuuuuun!

She is now standing on a tree branch with her back arched and her head against the tree. Flynn, Sora, and Lucy watched her from the ground.

Rapunzel: (sad, dramatic tone) I am a horrible daughter. I'm going back.

She cartwheeled down the hill of flowers and then falling and rolling down the hill, making her long hair wrap around her entire body. Goofy, Gray, and Juvia watched her tumble down.

Rapunzel: I am never going back!

She laid down underneath a shade with her face buried in grass. Flynn sat next to her looking bored while Donald, Wendy, and Carla looked at her with concern.

Rapunzel: I am a despicable human being.

Rapunzel was swinging around a big tree with her hair while Flynn, Sora, and Laxus were leaning against it.

Rapunzel: Best. Day. Ever!

After running around the forest, Rapunzel was seen sitting on the ground, leaning against a rock, crying.

After seeing enough, Flynn and the group came up to her to see how she was doing.

Flynn: I notice you seem a little at war with yourself here.

Goofy: A little more than a little.

Everyone: More like a lot!

Rapunzel looked up, saw the group, and gasped. She immediately got up, grabs her frying pan, and pointed the pan at the group threateningly.

Rapunzel: Stop right there! Who are you?!

Happy: You're just noticing us?!

Flynn: (steps in front of them with a smile) I told you before: my sidekicks.

Sora: Sidekicks?!

Natsu: What was that?!

Lucy: (grabs Natsu) Calm down, Natsu!

Flynn: May I introduce, ehh...

Sora: Oh, uh... My name's Sora.

Donald: Donald!

Goofy: I'm Goofy. Pleasure, ma'am.

Lucy: My name is Lucy. (let go of Natsu after he calmed down)

Natsu: My name's Natsu! (ran up towards Rapunzel) Nice to meet ya, Rapunzel!

Happy: I'm Happy!

Gray: Name's Gray.

Juvia: Juvia. Sora belongs to me! (hugged Sora)

Erza: My name is Erza.

Wendy: I'm Wendy.

Carla: Carla.

Gajeel: Gajeel.

Lily: My name is Panther Lily. But you may call me Lily.

Laxus: Laxus.

Rapunzel: (hold her frying pan threateningly) Sora, Donald, Goofy, Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Erza, Juvia, Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Pantherlily, and...Laxus. (lowers the frying pan and relaxes a bit) it's...nice to meet you, too. I'm Rapunzel.

Flynn: Yep. My sidekicks.

Sora grabs Flynn's arm and spins him around towards the group.

Sora: (whispers in an annoyed tone) Since when is that?

Gajeel: (angry) Yeah, what the hell is with this 'sidekick' crap?

Flynn: (backs up a bit and whispers back) Look, she really wants to see the lantern show tomorrow night. Now, I'm a nice guy, so I've decided to help her. Only problem is those monsters might show up again. I can get her to the kingdom—but you guys are clearly more cut out for combat.

Donald: That's cause we're heroes!

Flynn: Uh-huh!

Goofy: And we're Heartless experts.

Flynn: Yeah, yeah!

The three of them pose together and Sora released a small laugh.

Sora: Just leave it to us!

Flynn: Done.

Wendy: A lantern show does sound fun!

Carla: Sounds entertaining.

Natsu: If there's a festival, then that means there's food!

Happy: More specifically, fish!

Erza: That's wonderful! (puts both of her hands on Rapunzel's shoulders) I admire your courage to brave this forest to see this festival. It would be my honor to help you.

Rapunzel: Thanks!

They all started to walk towards the pathway to the Kingdom. Rapunzel still looked amazed at all the things around her, smiling along the way.

Donald: Rapunzel sure is interesting.

Goofy: Yeah, her heart's pulling her all kinds of ways.

Sora then stopped. Everyone else also stop and faced Sora

Sora: The outside world must seem so big and scary. I know how she feels. Lucky for me, you two came along at just the right time-and the rest has been unforgettable.

Laxus: We always experience that kind of journey when taking jobs.

Wendy: When the dragons that raised Natsu, Gajeel, and I, we kinda wandered around Earthland before joining our guilds.

Erza: (sad) For me, it was when I was taken to build a tower by force until I caused a breakout. But then I joined Fairy Tail and went on many adventures by myself.

Lucy: After I ran away from home, I traveled around to find a guild. Then I met Natsu and joined Fairy Tail. But the first adventure I went on was when we had to rescue Macao from Vulcan's on Mt. Hakobe.

Happy: When Carla and I were born, we were always with Natsu and Wendy, so we always went on adventures with them. (Carla nodded)

Lily: I joined Fairy Tail when my homeland was destroyed.

Laxus: You would probably know about my story since the Master is my grandfather.

Juvia: Me and Gajeel, joined Fairy Tail after our guild was disbanded.

Gray: (sigh) I joined Fairy Tail after my master died. And since then, the adventures I go on are always crazy.

Sora: Wow. You guys had a hard past.

Natsu: Yeah. But we make that up by partying with everyone in the guild.

Sora: Yeah... Like I said: unforgettable. (points to Donald while smiling) Just like your face!

Donald: (looked stunned; then get angry) Oh yeah?!

Sora started to run after Flynn and Rapunzel while Donald stood and pouted, making the others laugh.

Goofy: C'mon, now.

He then ran after Sora and the others joined him.

Sora: All for one, and one for all.

Chapter 15 ended.
