*Yen Sid's tower*

At another world was a large tower-like castle with pine-cone trees known as Mysterious Tower. 

Inside the tower was a sixteen-year old boy with brown spiky hair, blue eyes, and wears black clothes along with a duck and a tall dog. They are Sora, Donald, and Goofy. 

Sora is the legendary hero of the Keyblade and goes on adventures with his friends, Donald Duck: a magician, and Goofy: a knight. Sora was on his way back after meeting up with the Dreameaters, and Donald and Goofy were waiting for him.

Donald: Okay, start talking!

Goofy: You were gone a long time. What were ya doin'?

Sora: (chuckles) Secret. (opens the door) I'm back!

But when he open the door, no one was inside except an old wizard in blue clothing sitting at his desk. 

His name is Yen Sid, a retired Keyblade Master but a powerful sorcerer who still assist Sora in his adventures.

Sora: Huh? Just us?

Yen Sid: The others all had important work to do. So I sent them on their way.

Sora: (sarcastic) That's great. They coulda said goodbye.

Donald: (angry) It's your fault you missed them.

Sora: It is not. I just like to say goodbye to all my friends.

Donald: Then do it faster!

Sora: I'm here now, right?

Yen Sid: We have matters to discuss.

The two stop glaring at each other and all three stand at attention.

Yen Sid: In order to defeat Xehanort, there are allies we must gather, acting now to rouse them from their slumber. We have discussed this before, Sora.

The three nodded.

Yen Sid: Your Mark of Mastery exam was conducted in the hopes you would acquire the power to wake them. (Sora crosses his arms) However, the darkness nearly took control of you, and your grasp of your new abilities leaves much to be desired.

Sora looked shocked as he lowers his head while Donald and Goofy looked at Sora in concern and worry.

Yen Sid: Furthermore, Xehanort nearly made you his vessel, and in the process stripped you of most of the power you had gained by then. I suspect you have already noticed this, correct?

Sora looked sad and disappointed at himself for the real why he failed his Mark of Mastery.  

Sora: (sighs) 

Donald and Goofy: (worried) Sora...

Sora: (smiles, immediately perks up) Whatever! Happens all the time.

Yen Sid: Yes. Chip and Dale are currently analyzing the data that Ansem the Wise provided to Riku, and which could offer us a clue to retrieving our friends' lost hearts. I have very high hopes for this data. However, our greatest chance of stopping Xehanort's plan still lies with you, Sora. If you trust the guidance your heart gives, I know we will find all of the guardians of light.

Sora understood what he met.

Yen Sid: But first, you must regain all the strength you have lost. Perhaps it is foolish to expect a complete recovery, but it is absolutely vital you perfect one power--the power of waking, which you failed to master during your exam. There's someone who lost his strength and found it again, a true hero to whom you ought to pay a visit.

Sora smiles in excitement and performs two flexing poses, confusing Goofy and annoying Donald.

Yen Sid: Perhaps he can point you in the right direction.

Sora: (salutes) Got it.

Donald: Master Yen Sid...

Goofy: You can count on us to take care of Sora.

Yen Sid: I would have it no other way. I put Sora in your hands.

Sora: (laughs and huddles Donald and Goofy together) Donald! Goofy!

Donald: You can't become a master without us!

Sora: Huh?

Goofy: I never woulda thought you'd fail that exam, Sora.

Sora: Hey!

Donald: Face it, you're just a half-pint.

Goofy: But the three of us together make a whole pint!

Donald: And don't forget, we'll keep an eye on you. (holds out his hand)

Goofy: Oh, this is gonna be lots of fun! (places his hand on Donald's)

Sora: It's not a vacation. (smiles and places his hand on theirs) Let's go!

Sora, Donald, and Goofy: Count on us!

Yen Sid: (nodded)

*Gummi ship* 

On the Gummi Ship, Sora was in deep thought on the middle chair while Donald and Goofy were sitting on the left and right chairs behind him.

Sora: How're we supposed to get there now?

Donald: What? I thought you knew!

Goofy: (looks out the window) Looks like all the old highways are closed. Didn't Master Yen Sid say that Sora should trust the guidance his heart gives?

Donald: C'mon, Sora. Which way?

Sora: Ummm...

Donald: (angered) Hey, would you get serious?!

Sora: Gimme a break, I'm trying. These things take time.

Goofy: (thinks of something) we'll, since we've already been before, why don't you try picturing our friends like we're there?

Sora: Hmmm... (starts trying to concentrate)

Donald: Well?

Sora: (sigh) Sorry, I got nothin'. What did you expect?

Donald: (sigh) 

Goofy: 'May your heart be your guiding key'.

Sora: Huh? What's that?

Goofy: Master Yen Sid always said that, right before we went off on any of our real important adventures.

Sora: Really? (looks at Donald) Ring a bell?

Donald: (shook his head)

Goofy: Maybe I just imagined it.

Sora: 'May my heart be my guiding key'. (stands up in realization) I got it!

He summons his Keyblade, Kingdom Key, and points it towards space in front of the ship. A light shines from the tip and a portal opens.

Donald and Goofy: It's a gate!

Sora: (laughs) All right! Olympus Coliseum, here we come!

The ship then moved into the portal and the portal disappeared.

(Earthland) 

Sora: Wait a sec. Could someone explain how we ended up here?

It turns out the portal that was supposed to lead to Olympus Coliseum, only led Sora, Donald, and Goofy to a port town. It was a very nice and beautiful town near the ocean, but most of the buildings in the town were under construction and the town roads look pretty damaged.

Donald: I don't know! We thought you knew!

Sora: (sigh) Great. Now what are we supposed to do?

Goofy: Why don't we ask around for now.

They walked up to a fishing stand as Sora walked towards the owner.

Sora: Excuse me, but do you know what this place is?

Owner: Oh, are three new around here?

Sora: You could say that.

Owner: Well my boy this here is the Port Town, Hargeon.

Donald: Why is everything under construction?

Owner: It was crazy! 6 months ago, there was a war between Ishgar and the Alvarez Empire. The Empire took control of this port until several wizard guilds retook the port. Near the end of the war, a dragon came and started to destroy the place until all the guilds in Fiore defeated the dragon! I'm so glad that I survived reopen my shop.

Trio: Wow!

Donald: Hey guys. I'm sensing strong magic in this world. Maybe we can find and learn some new magic here.

Both Sora and Goofy nodded agreement.

Sora: Hey, do you know if there are any magic shops here?

Owner: I'm afraid not. Hargeon is a fishing place, there has been no magical guild that existed here.

The three of them looked down in disappointment.

Owner: Don't give your hopes up. The next town over has some magic shops there.

Sora: Really?

Owner: Yes. It's called Magnolia. The train here can lead you there.

Sora: Thank you, sir! Come on, lets go!

The three of them then boarded on the train and headed to Magnolia.

(timeskip)

The trio were on the train heading to Magnolia.

Sora: Hey, how do you feel about this adventure?

Donald and Goofy looked at each other.

Donald: I don't really know. I'm ready to fight for the King, but at the same time I feel scared.

Goofy: (nodded)

Sora: This might be our toughest battle yet. To be honest, I'm scared too. But, I want to end this battle so that everyone can be happy again. Roxas, Axel, Namine, that girl, and those three Keyblade Wielders, they deserve a happy life.

Both Donald and Goofy smiled, then the heard the microphones on the train then came on.

Microphones: Attention, passengers. We are now arriving at Magnolia Station. Thank you for your patience and we hope you have a great visit in Magnolia Town.

Sora: Guess our ride is over, huh?

The three of them got off and entered Magnolia.

(meanwhile at Magnolia) 

Lucy was walking to her apartment after they completed a job request.

Lucy: Man, I need a break from all that hard work we've been doing on those jobs. (thoughts) We've been working really hard on a lot of jobs, so everyone agreed we will take a break for a while. This is really great! Not only I have enough money to pay my rent, but I can finally have some time to finish my book.

Lucy arrived at her apartment and just when she open the door, they saw Natsu sitting on her chair eating chips while Happy was on the floor eating.

Natsu and Happy: Hey Lucy! 

Lucy: My bedroom! Get out of here, you jerks!

Natsu: Sorry, but your place is always fun.

Happy: Aye.

Lucy: (sighed and sat down) So, what are you planning on doing during the break?

Natsu: I don't know. I'm still trying to look for a challenge but ain't got anything.

Happy: Aye, it can't be helped. With Zeref and his demons from his books gone, I don't think we'll be seeing any dark guilds trying to do something.

Lucy: (stood up) Well why don't we take a trip to Mt. Hakobe. I'm sure you would love to fight some Vulcans.

Natsu: Hey yeah, that does sound fun! Thanks, Lucy.

As they started to head out the door, an explosion occurred outside, shocking the three. 

Lucy: What was that?! 

Natsu: I don't know, but it doesn't sound good.

Natsu opened the door and saw people running from what looks like black imp like creatures and imp like knights.

Lucy: What are they?!

Happy: (scared) Some kind of monsters?! 

Natsu: (engulfed his hand in flames) Doesn't matter, they're hurting innocent people! We gotta stop them! 

Natsu then sprint into action and eliminated the monsters with his firey fists.

Lucy: (rushes to a woman) What is going on?

Woman: I don't know. They appeared out of nowhere and started attacking people.

Lucy: Alright, get out of here now. (the woman nodded and runs off) Natsu, let's clear this area and get back to the guild.  

Natsu: Right!

*with the Trio*

Sora: Wow, it so big!

The three of them were wondering around Magnolia, enjoying the beautiful city.

Donald: I'm surprised that only a few buildings are under construction, unlike Hargeon.

Goofy: Maybe the population here is bigger.

The three of them stop in front of a building at the center of town, it had two towers on each corner and there was a massive door at the front.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy: Wow!

Sora looks at a man who was walking into the building.

Sora: Excuse me, but what this building called?

Man: This is Kardia Cathedral, Magnolia's most important and distinctive landmarks.

Goofy: It's really beautiful!

Donald: Was this town attacked by a dragon, too?

Man: Yes. And the Alvarez Empire came and destroyed the town, too. But we weren't worried because Fairy Tail was here and they've save us.

Sora: (confused) Fairy Tail?

Man: The strongest guild in all of Fiore.

Donald: Was this town attacked by a dragon, too?

Man: Yes. And the Alvarez Empire came and destroyed the town, too. But we weren't worried because Fairy Tail was here and they save us.

Goofy: Were they one of the magical guilds that assisted the defeat of the dragon?

Man: Of course. The guilds were Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, Mermaid Heel, Sabertooth, Blue Pegasus, and other wizards from different guilds.

Suddenly, they heard an explosion behind the cathedral. Everyone was screaming and running away from the cathedral.

Man: What the hell was that?!

Sora: I don't know, but get out of here now! We'll take care of it!

The trio then ran towards the explosion and saw imp like shadows and imp like knights destroying everything in town.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy: The Heartless! (summoned their weapons)

Sora triple slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Fire at the shadow imps. Donald casts Thunder at the imp knights, electrocuting them. Goofy delivers a charging shield strike, knocking the imps down. They have cut the monsters down that were in that area and then move to the next part of town.

Sora: Damn, I really wanted to explore this town some more!

Donald: Me too, but we got to get rid of them and find some magic that will help us!

Goofy: (notice something) Look there!

Goofy was pointing at three figures fighting the Heartless in the streets. They were Natsu, Happy, and Lucy. 

Natsu: Fire Dragon Iron Fist!

Natsu did a flaming punch which not only hit a Shadow Heartless, but also burnt off the other Heartless along with it. 

Lucy: Regulas Lucy Kick! 

Lucy delivered a kick with her feet coated in light at the Soldier Imp. 

Sora: (surprised) Who are they?

Donald: (shocked) And how can they fight the Heartless?!

Lucy was attacking the Heartless in front of her with light magic until Sora saw a Soldier sneaking up on her.

Sora: (run towards Soldier) Watch out!

Lucy turned around and saw Sora striking the Soldier down, and the Soldier disappeared.

Sora: Are you alright?

Lucy looked shocked, but she came out of her trance.

Lucy: Yes, thank you.

Sora: No problem.

Lucy: (sees Sora's Keyblade) That key shape sword you're holding, are you some kind of special Celestial Wizard?

Sora: Um, no. I'm-

Natsu: Lucy!

Lucy turned around and saw Natsu and Happy running or flying at Happy's case towards the two.

Natsu: Are you alright?

Lucy: Yeah.

Happy: Hey, we need to hurry to the guild hall and check on the others!

Sora: (shocked) A talking flying blue cat?!

Natsu: (looks at Sora) Who's he?

Lucy: He was the one who saved me.

Natsu: Really? (smiles at Sora) Thanks a lot buddy!

Donald and Goofy: Sora!

Donald and Goofy were running towards the group.

Donald: There's still a ton of enemies here! We need to get moving!

Happy: (shocked) AHHH!!!! The duck is talking!

Donald: (shocked) Wak! The cat is talking!

Happy: Aye sir! 

Lucy: Uh, geez.

Goofy: Uh, guys? What about the Heartless?

Natsu: He-art-less?

Lucy: Is that what those monsters are called?

Sora: Yes, they are monsters of darkness and the weapons we have can defeat them. We need to go now!

Natsu: Alright! Let's go Happy!

Happy: Aye sir!

Happy then grabbed Natsu's back and lift him in the air heading straight for the Heartless.

Lucy: Can you help us reach to our guild hall? Our friends need help!

Sora: No problem!

The four of them ran straight towards the Heartless and make their way to the Guildhall of Fairy Tail.

Chapter 1 ended.
