Carla flew Wendy in the air while Gray and Ventus were following them on foot. 

Wendy: I don't see them anywhere.

Ventus: I don't sense Lady or that Arkham guy either. 

Gray: You think Natsu and the others were now fighting demons?

Carla: Maybe, let us- 

Before Carla could finish, something hit her and Wendy causing them to both fall and crash down toward the ground, much to Gray and Ventus's shock.

Gray and Ventus: Wendy! Carla!

Both Wendy and Carla groaned as they tried to push themselves up from the ground. 

Carla: Wendy, are you alright?

Wendy: Owe.

???: Geeze, you're still such a cry baby.

The two of them looked to see an individual a few feet away from them, her body in a landing position, indicating she knocked them out of the sky. 

She wore a dark green hooded robe to obscure her face, the only thing they made out was the white Pentagram symbol on the chest.

Carla: The symbol of Devil Hand? But... you're no demon.

???: No, I'm not.

Wendy: (looked in surprise) Wait... I know that voice. It sounds familiar...

Ventus and Gray ran towards the two as the ice-make wizard helped up Wendy. 

Ventus: (helped Carla up) You two alright?

Carla: I believe so. 

He turned and glared at the green-robbed girl.

Ventus: Hey! Who are you!? And why did you knock down Carla and Wendy?!

Wendy: I... I know her.

All three to look in surprise as Wendy started at the girl and couldn't believe her eyes. 

Wendy: But... it's... it's not... possible.

???: I'm surprised you remember me Wendy, considering you were Cait Shelter's favorite.

 She removed her hood to reveal her face. It was Leviatha with green hate-filled eyes.

Gray: A girl?! The hell is a girl doing in a Dark Guild filled with demons?!

Wendy: (shocked) Sheeree? Is... is that... really you?

Carla: (disbelief) Impossible, you can't be here!

Leviatha: Nice to see you're still such a know-it-all, Carla.

Gray: Wait... you know her?

Wendy: She was from Cait Shelter! 

Ventus and Gray look in disbelief.

Gray: What?!

Ventus: But... I thought you said Cait Shelter was an illusion!

Leviatha: Not all of it.

Wendy: Sheeree... how are-

Leviatha: Don't call me that! My name is Leviatha! I'm a member of the Devil Hand guild! In fact, I'm among its elite, the Seven Sins!

The Sky Dragon Slayer's look of surprised increased. 

Wendy: You... you joined a Dark Guild?! Why?!

Leviatha: You joined a new guild before, so why shouldn't I?

Leviatha was about to walk toward her, but Gray quickly stood in front.

Gray: Look kid, I don't know what's going on, but do yourself a favor and get out of Devil Hand. It's no place for a girl like you.

Leviatha: Stay out of this! (points at Wendy) I'm only interested in her! Now get out of the way before I have to hurt you.

Gray: Wendy go, I'll take care of this.

Wendy: But... Gray I... that's...

Her head was having trouble fully understanding all of this.

Carla: Wendy, we can second guess later!

Carla grabbed Wendy and began to fly away.

Leviatha: On no you don't! 

Leviatha was about to run after Wendy, but Gray blocked her path.

Gray: I don't think so. How about you make it easy on yourself and just surrender? I'd rather not fight a girl younger than me.

Leviatha: Too bad.

Leviatha placed a hand on her palm as an icy-mist formed right before she cast a spell.

Leviatha: Ice-Make Lance!

This caught Gray by completely surprise, he quickly formed an ice-shield to block the ice-projectiles shot his way, but his shocked look did not fade.

Gray's mind: What the hell? That's my spell! How did she know that?!

Ventus: (shocked) She can use Ice-Magic like you Gray?!

Suddenly he was shot by a blue beam which completely froze Ventus in a block of ice, causing the Keyblade Wielder to fall to the ground.

Gray: Ven!

Gray was about to help but Leviatha was already directly in front of him, she shot him a cold glare before she shot both her hands on the ground in front of Gray, completely incasing him in ice just like Ventus. Leviatha then looked up in the direction that Carla flew Wendy.

Wendy: Carla... was that really... Sheeree?

Carla: There was no mistaking it. But I fail to understand how it was possible. Cait Shelter was a mere illusion. She should have faded with everyone else.

Wendy thought for a moment. That one moment where she saw all of Cait Shelter fade away was a heart-wrenching moment in her life, but now there was someone from that very same guild here, now! How is that possible? And why does she seem so angry toward Wendy?

Leviatha: I didn't give you permission to leave!

Carla stopped mid-air where she and Wendy looked in absolute shock to see Leviatha hovering above them slightly, but it wasn't the fact she was there that surprised them. 

No, it was the fact that out of her back was sprouted a pair of wings. White feathered wings! The same kind of wings that Happy, Carla, Lilly, and all the other Exceeds have.

Carla: (shocked) Aera magic?!

Wendy was unable to form any words. 

Carla: Impossible! That is a magic only Exceeds can use!

Leviatha: (raised eyebrow) Exceed? Is that the name of your species? But it doesn't matter.

She then smirked evilly as she looked toward the blue-haired girl. 

Leviatha: Oh and Wendy, if you think you're surprised now. Get a load of this.

Leviatha inhaled deeply and appeared to be engulfing a large amount of air as her cheeks puffed.

Leviatha: Sky Dragon...

Impossible. Wendy could not believe it. 

Wendy: (shocked) No...

Leviatha: ROAR!!!

Leviatha unleashed the exact same breath attack that Wendy uses directly at the shocked Sky Dragon Slayer and sent her and Carla slamming down hard toward the ground.

*with Natsu* 

Vali threw a vertical-wave outward with a slash from Yamato to intercept the fireball thrown to him. Natsu flew out of the dust with both his arms coated in fire.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Wing Attack!

Natsu had sent a powerful flame wave, but Vali sliced through it with his katana with little effort, but Natsu had planned on it was he had suddenly appeared directly under Vergil and delivered an upper-cut to his jaw to knock him upwards.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Talon!

Natsu delivered a flaming-roundhouse to knock Vali across the water.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Roar!

He had hopped that this attack would hit Vali while he was off-guard but that wasn't the case.

Vali: Darkslayer!

Using his style imbued with his katana, Vali had sliced through the breath attack as though it were made of butter. Both halves exploded behind him for dramatic purposes.

Vali: You've mildly improved. Your experiences since our previous encounter have indeed made you stronger, if ever so slightly.

Natsu: I see you're about as egotistical as ever.

Vali: Childish insults. But if you are finished playing, I am due to acquire my prize.

Natsu: Over my dead body.

Vali: If that is what you wish.

Vali sent another vertical wave towards Natsu; which he swerved to the side to avoid as it made a splash in the water of the pond they were standing in.

Fire shot from Natsu's feet as he gunned straight for Vali again with a firey-fist realed back. But Vali shot him a glare. The second Natsu's eyes set up Vali several unpleasant memories filled his mind. He recalled Vali's transformation into his Devil Trigger during their first fight, how he got demolished, and that slice across his chest that almost killed him.

Natsu's fire stopped as he felt himself slowing down. This gave Vali an opening to grab his wrist, twist it, causing Natsu to scream in pain before grabbing him by the back of the head and slamming him face-first into ground underneath the water.

Vali: (drowning Natsu) You slowed down. When in battle, you should never hesitate. Take that lesson with you to the grave, Natsu Dragneel.

Vali was blasted back by a large stream of water, which came from Lucy at her Aquarius Mode and Sora. 

Happy had managed to pull Natsu out of the water and set him down on dry land next to Lucy as he coughed the water out. 

Happy: You okay Natsu? 

Natsu: Yeah I'm fine... (realized) Wait... I told you guys to run!

Lucy: What and leave you behind? You know us better than that!

Natsu: And you Vali is- Wait... where's Kairi and Lisanna?!

There was a brief flash of white light before the water around him exploded outward, revealing the blue-robed half demon having just equipped himself with Beowulf.

However, before he could go onto attack, Lisanna suddenly shot out of the water behind him, in the form of a mermaid with her tail being pink with green fins. She grabbed Vergil before pulling him underwater.

Natsu's face was one of shock while Lucy just smirked as Kairi ran to their side. 

Lucy: She actually came up with the plan. Sora and I would keep him distracted up front, she ambushes him from behind and pulls him underwater. 

Kairi: She'll keep him there till he looses consciousness and then we'll be all good.

Their attention was diverted to the sound of a mixed splash and explosion at the center of the pound where Vali had emerged with Lisanna airborne. He gave a kick with his Beowulf grieves to send Lisanna flying back and smashing into the ground a bit distance away.

Before any of them could react to that; a flash had already smashed into Sora, sending him skidding across the ground and creating a crater with Vali on top of him. He quickly and ruthlessly pounded him with his Beowulf gauntlets; breaking nearly every bone in his body before finishing with a powerful punch to him head; causing him to be knocked out.

Kairi: No! Sora!

Vali shot Kairi a glare, causing her to fall down in fear. However, Natsu was already on his feet and running toward Vali ready to deliver a firey-punch, but once he tried to deliver, he had already leapt into the air rather high and fell down to deliver an axe-kick onto Natsu's back to impact him hard into the ground, creating a perfectly round crater with Natsu in the center.

He spotted a glimmer out of the corner of his eye and swerved to avoid the whip-attack from Lucy's Fleuve d'etoiles. 

She tried to snap the celestial whip at him again, but he allowed it ensare around his right Beowulf gauntlet and with his own strength, combined with Beowulf, he pulled her into a knee right into her abdomen, causing her to fall to the ground and moan in pain.

Happy: Natsu! Lucy!

Happy was about to fly toward them, but Vali appeared in front of him, causing the flying blue exceed to be paralyzed with fear.

Vali: These games annoy me. (grabbed Happy in his Beowulf gauntlet) I do not have time for any of this.

He was about to crush Happy, only for a fireball to hit his back and stumble slightly. He turned and saw Kairi who was holding her Keyblade. 

Kairi: Back off! I won't let you hurt my friends!

Happy: (sigh of relief) Thanks Kairi.

Vali: (long pause for a moment) Very well, I'll take my leave. 

Kairi: Huh? 

Vali: Don't act surprised. I'm saving you for a special moment.

Vali walks away before gazing back towards Happy as he was helping Lisanna, Sora, Natsu, and Lucy back on their feet before vanishing from their sight much to their confusion.

*with Wendy* 

Wendy was thrown against a tree as Leviatha glared at her, Carla on the ground in front of the resentful girl. Before the Exceed could crawl away, Leviatha stomped her foot on the talking cat causing her to scream in pain.

Wendy: No Carla! (looks at Leviatha) Sheeree, stop! Please!

Leviatha: That's not my name! (turns to Wendy) I told you, my name is Leviatha!

Wendy: (starts crying) Please... why are you doing this?! We were part of Cait Shelter together! We were friends!

Leviatha: No, we are not friends! We never were friends! (saw the tears flowing down Wendy's face and starts mocking) Aw is the little Dragon Slayer gonna cry? You'll be shedding more than tears when I'm done with you! (readied another attack) Sky Dragon Roar!

She shot another breath attack directly at Wendy who could only scream with closed eyes at it came close toward her.

???: Full Moon Shield!

A large and transparent shield, taking the appearance of the face of the full moon, had blocked the attack, causing it to disperse.

Leviatha: What?!

Wendy opened her eyes slowly to look and see Modeus standing protectively in front of her with his blades crossed, indicating he had just saved her.

Wendy: Modeus.

He gave an inward sigh that the attack did not hit her as he turned his head toward her. 

Modeus: Wendy, are you alright?

Wendy: (nodded) Yeah... I will be. Thank you.

Modeus: Of course. (turns to Leviatha in surprise) A girl? 

Leviatha: (glares) Damn you. Protecting her like that.

Modeus: Who are you, child? Why are you with Devil Hand?

Leviatha: My name is Leviatha, and I'm here to see Wendy Marvell suffer!

Modeus: Why? For what purpose would you seek to harm her?

Leviatha: That's none of your business.

Modeus: If I were you, I would leave now. Your demonic forces have been vanquished, and you have failed to capture Kairi. You have lost.

Leviatha glared daggers at Modeus. She want to hurt him so badly right now, not just for the loss her guild suffered, but also for protecting her. 

She thought  she could possibly take him, but not the whole team of Fairy Tail members present, especially considering Drake is also here. 

Leviatha: (glares at Wendy) This isn't over Wendy! You'll see me again!

Leviatha took out a orb from her robe and smashed it on the ground, creating a purple flash; causing Modeus and Wendy to shield their eyes. When the flash subsided, Leviatha vanished. 

Modeus immediately came to Wendy and helped her up. 

Modeus: Are you unharmed? 

Wendy: I think so. (gasped) Carla?  

The two of them quickly ran towards the injured Carla as Wendy immediately began to apply healing magic on her. 

Carla: Wendy... I'm glad you're okay. 

Carla: Don't worry, Carla. She's gone now. Everything's gonna be okay. 

Modeus: Wendy, who was that girl? 

Wendy: (hung her head down) She says her name's Leviatha, but her name is Sheeree. She was from Cait Shelter like me and Carla.

Modeus: (surprised) Cait Shelter? But I thought you told me that guild was an illusion, created to give you and Carla a home when you were much younger. 

Wendy: (nodded) I thought it was too, but...

Carla: (was able to stand up) I am most disturbed by this to. The fact that there was a real person from Cait Shelter is surprising enough, but the very idea that she has joined with a dark guild, one that is comprised of demons no-less... I can't even begin to imagine how that happened.

Modeus: (puts a consoling hand on Wendy's shoulder) Wendy, I know this is rather disturbing for you, but we must get back with the others. Drake and the others have already saved the guild hall. Let's go back, then you can talk to the others. 

Wendy knew he was right. There were so many questions in her head right now, but they could wait. She nodded as she stood up along with Carla and the three made their way back.

*at the guildhall* 

Two Hell-Vanguards were tossed out the entrance of the Fairy Tail guild hall before each was shot in the head by Drake who stood in the entrance. He gazed behind to see pretty much the whole guildhall in shambles; the corpses of multiple Hell-Vanguards decorated all over the floor and on most of the walls. Forutnatley, none of his comrades were killed, a few serious injuries, but nothing fatal.

Ur: (shattered a frozen demon) Is that all of them?

Erza had impaled the chest of one Hell-Vanguard with a sword to make sure it was dead. 

Erza: Yes, that is all.

Trish: Damn, the old man's not gonna be happy about this.

Elfman: Forget the guild hall, that creepy bald guy just kidnapped Lady!

Aqua: (walks to Drake) Drake, that man we just saw... Was that really Lady's father?

Drake: Yeah he was.

While most of the wizards were either making sure the demons were dead or helping another wounded comrade; Trish, Erza, Ur, Mickey, and Lea walked towards Dante.

Lea: That was her dad?

Drake: Do I need to repeat myself? Yeah that was him.

Erza: Drake, who is he?

Drake: His name is Arkham, and it's a long story. Lady was gonna tell all of you about it, but he beat us to the punch.

Mickey: These Hell-Vanguards that attacked us. Do you believe Arkham to be a part of Devil Hand?

The red-coat wearing Devil Hunter kicked the dismantled skull of one dead Vanguard. 

Drake: Wouldn't put it past him.

Mirajane: He also said this attack was a message from your brother. That being said, I think it is all but confirmed that Vali is a part of Devil Hand as well.

Drake: Yeah.

Pretty much everyone in the Fairy Tail grimaced at the thought of that. 

Ur: I was not looking forward to seeing him again.

Erza: Still, we only knew it was a matter of time.

Soon, everyone saw Natsu's and Wendy's groups arrived. However, what none of them noticed was on a cliffside some distance away, Leviatha watched them with a hateful glare, one she shot in Wendy's direction.

???: I would advise against any rash moves at the moment.

She turned around to see a familiar man walking toward her. 

Leviatha: Arkham.

The dark, bald, man walked slowly toward Leviatha's side, still carrying his book, as he set his emotionless eyes upon Fairy Tail.

Arkham: It would seem they've survived.

Leviatha: Yeah, no duh. And getting that Kairi-lady is gonna be tricky now that she's with them and the other Guardians.

Arkham: Perhaps, but regardless she will be ours. Soon the light from this world will fade forever and a new era of pandemonium shall begin. Come.

He turned around and began to walk away. 

Arkham: We still have much to do.

Leviatha stood up and gave one more glare in Wendy's directing before walking after Arkham.

Leviatha's mind: I honestly don't care about his or Vali's goal. One thing is for certain, I will make you suffer Wendy. I'll make you suffer just as much as you made me!

Chapter 92 ended.
