After the battle, everyone headed to the bridge to eat some ice cream. Fred, Wasabi, Donald, Goofy, Honey Lemon, Lucy, Juvia, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Kat, Lady, Trish, Ur, Natsu, and Happy were sitting one one ledge while the rest were sitting on another ledge above them.

Fred: (jumping around) Was that awesome... (jumps next to Donald) or was that totally awesome?!

Natsu: Damn right that was totally awesome!

Happy: (gnawing on some fish) Being a hero is fun!

Gray: It is a fun workout.

Lucy: I haven't felt this excited in a while.

Donald: Yeah, I was pretty good.

Honey Lemon: Your magic is amazing. All of yours. Do you think I could study it sometime?

Donald: Why not?

Goofy: You just made Donald's day.

Honey Lemon: (giggled)

Wendy: I wouldn't mind teaching you my magic.

Carla: You'll be giving support to you team.

Honey Lemon: Thank you.

Meanwhile, on the ledge above them, Sora, Drake, Modeus, Hiro, Go Go, Baymax, Erza, Gajeel, Lily, and Laxus were all sitting eating ice cream.

Laxus: Hiro, why did you become a hero?

Hiro: My brother wanted to help people. Now, we try to do the same.

Sora: Your brother?

Laxus: You did mention that your brother would do the same.

Hiro: Yeah, Tadashi. There was a fire, and now he's gone.

This surprised everyone. Go Go looked depressed. 

Hiro: But he always wanted to make a difference. He cared about people. That's why he worked so hard to create Baymax.

Sora: I'm sorry.

Modeus: Our condolences.

Hiro: (smile) He's still here. In Baymax. In all of us.

Gajeel: He makes a good point.

Panther Lily: Agreed.

Sora: Tadashi-he lives on in your hearts.

Hiro: Yeah. Right. He will always be a part of us in some way.

Sora: And when you're not strong enough, he'll make up the difference.

Hiro: Did that answer your question, Laxus?

Laxus: Huh? Yeah. When you first told us about your brother and being a hero. It reminded me of something that I too wish to protect.

Hiro: Who did you wanted to protect?

Erza: Fairy Tail is a much larger group than you think. Because we're a team, we treat each other like family. But Laxus is a special case, he has a relative in Fairy Tail.

Hiro: You do?

Laxus: Yeah. My grandfather. He is our Master and treats us like we're his children. But for me, everyone thinks of me as the Master's grandson and I got sick of that as I grew older. One day, I had a fight with my friends and with the old man and then I left them. Overtime, I grew ashamed at what I done and return to them.

Hiro: How did they responded?

Laxus: It's hard to explain. I'll just say they let me back in and I made a promise to protect them no matter what. But then six months ago, we were fighting a powerful enemy and the old man decided to sacrifice himself to defeat them. He cast a powerful spell that defeated them, but he ended up dead.

Hiro looked surprised. 

Laxus: Everyone was mourning for his loss. I felt ashamed at myself because I failed to keep my promise. But then after a while, he suddenly awoke. We were all relieved at what happened.

Hiro: How did he survived?

Laxus: We don't know. Even he was puzzled by it. He just said he dreaming of a 'barefooted girl smiling joyfulling with a boy dressed in black.'

Go Go: That sounds really strange.

Hiro: But I guess you feel happy that he's alive.

Laxus: Yeah. And I'll keep my promise.

Sora's mind: I guess Master Makarov really means something to Fairy Tail. I guess that's what makes them a wonderful guild.

Suddenly, Sora was spacing out and felt like Roxas eating ice cream with his friends Hayner, Pence, and Olette on top of the bridge just like they do at the clock tower in Twilight Town. Sora then snapped out of it and everyone was looking at him with confusion.

Hiro: Sora. You okay?

Drake: You zoned out for a bit.

Sora: (not wanting to worry them) Yeah. Fine.

He then looked at his hand and placed it on his chest. 

Sora: (looks at the sunset) I'm with you.

After eating ice cream, it was getting dark out and they all decided to patrol the area. As they were all talking, something moved behind them, startling them.

Sora: What?!

They all got a closer look at it when it flew by them. It was black cubes covered with patterns and they took the forms of several tentacles.

Go Go: Great, they're back.

Wasabi: Oh, we got this.

Honey Lemon: Time for a lesson.

Fred: Cheee-aaarge!

They charge ahead, but Hiro turns his visor on and sees the signature of the cubes.

Hiro: (gasps) Wait! Uh, guys! That one's not like the others!

But they already left.

Lucy: What do you mean 'not like the others'?

Hiro: It can't be. Microbots?

Sora: Microbots? You know what they are?

Goofy: Well, they're different from Heartless.

Donald: Uh-huh.

Erza: But they're still dangerous.

Laxus: What are these Microbots?

Hiro: Microbots are designed to do whatever you think via a neural transmitter...that communicates what you're...

The group was not following him.

Natsu: Speak english.

Hiro: They're a kind of a mini-bot I invented. 

Drake: Why haven't you used them before?

Hiro: Some bad stuff happened and I thought that meant they were totally gone. But those enemies are way too similar. Which means someone's controlling them. The question is who. (eyes widen) Could it be?

Wendy: Who?

Hiro: I'm gonna go back to the garage and look into it some more. You mind going after 'em?

Everyone: Sure!

Sora: We need you on the sciency stuff. (Puts AR device on)

Hiro: (smiled. Baymax... Stick with 'em.

Baymax: All right, Hiro. Sora, Donald, Goofy, Drake, Kat, Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Gray, Ur, Erza, Wendy, Carla, Modeus, Lady, Juvia, Gajeel, Lily, Trish, Laxus, I will be your personal healthcare companion.

Sora: Thanks, Baymax. We're in good hands.

Gray: We need to find it.

Natsu: Happy, take me up!

Happy: Aye sir! (flew into the air with Natsu)

Wendy: Let's go, Carla!

Both Natsu and Wendy flew into the skies to see where the black cubes have gone.

Lucy: Do you see anything?!

Wendy: I see them! They're at the North District!

Erza: Let us hurry there!

Everyone ran to the North District as quickly as possible thanks to Wendy's Sky magic. Once they arrived, they looked around to find the cubes.

Baymax then looked up and points at a roof.

Baymax: Target acquired.

They all saw the cubes hovering above them. The cubes then surrounded them inside a black force field.

Hiro: They're not microbots... Be careful!

Natsu and Gajeel immediately jumped towards the enemy.

Natsu: Fire Dragon Iron Fist!

Gajeel: Iron Dragon Club!

Both of the attacks destroyed several of the cubes, but the pieces of the destroyed cubes suddenly floated into the air and went inside the enemy. Everyone then fired their magic and their weapons at it, but the same thing happened before.

Juvia: Nothings working!

Sora: It's no fair! Why can't we hurt it?

Donald: Magic is no good.

Kat: And our weapons didn't lay a scratch on it.

Goofy: What do we do?

Natsu: We beat it until it's no more!

Suddenly, the black cubes flew away onto the highway. The group started to run after it.

Natsu: Hey! Get the hell back here!

Sora: This is weird.

Hiro: Sora, you guys all right?

Sora: Oh... Yeah, but the target escaped. Have you got any leads?

Gajeel: Because we need some.

Hiro: Tons. Somewhere inside that thing, there is a core. It's what powers the whole cluster. The core is the only way to hurt it.

Wasabi grunted through the communication. 

Wasabi: Now he tells us.

Hiro: Wasabi! What happened?

Wasabi: Let's just say it's a handful.

Hiro: Team, check in.

Honey Lemon: So far, so good.

Go Go: Guys, I'm really tired of just dodging this thing.

Fred: Freddie getting frustrated!

*with Honey Lemon*

Honey Lemon threw a chem-ball at a wall, creating a pillar.

Hiro: Guys, I'm on my way.

The black cubes came straight at Honey Lemon, but she quickly dodged it while staying on the platform.

Honey Lemon: (jumps off the pilar) No, Hiro

*with Fred* 

Elsewhere, the cubes were floating in front of Fred. It then send it's cube formed tentacles at Fred, but he froze all of them, making them stuck to the ground.

Fred: Hiro, you analyze the Darkubes.

Wasabi: Wait, did you just say 'Darkubes'?

Fred: Yeah. They're dark, they're cubes. I call 'em like I see 'em. Every bad baddies needs a cool name.

Happy: That makes sense.

Go Go: Yeah, that's not cool.

*with Honey Lemon*

Honey Lemon was standing on another pillar when the Darkubes came up to her.

Honey Lemon: We'll gather as much data from the Darkubes as we can.

She dropped a chem-ball onto the platform. The platform melted and she fell just before the Darkubes could attack her.

*with Wasabi* 

At another location, Wasabi was firing at the Darkubes with his gauntlet.

Wasabi: Hiro, figure out a way for us to beat this thing! (dodged another attack)

*with Go Go* 

Go Go jumped off of a bridged and started to zoom down the road while the Darkubes followed her.

Hiro: But guys, I can't leave you out there all alone.

Go Go: Hiro. We are a team. And teams delegate. We need you at the garage. We trust you, so you trust us.

Hiro: Fine. I'll look for a way that we can expose the Darkubes' core. Just keep that data coming.

*back with the group* 

Sora: Hiro, what should we do?

Hiro: You protect the others. I'll mark their position for you on your AR display.

Drake: Got it! Let's get to work Baymax!

Baymax: All right.

Erza: Everyone split up and help the others!

Everyone split up with their respective group when the city was invaded. Natsu, Gajeel, Trish, Kat, and Panther Lily went after Fred. Erza, Wendy, Lady, Modeus, and Carla went after Go Go. Drake, Sora, Laxus, Lucy and Happy went after Honey Lemon. And Goofy, Donald, Ur, Gray and Juvia went after Wasabi.

*with Sora's team* 

Sora: Honey Lemon!

Sora's group arrived were Honey Lemon was at. She was inside a Darkubes sphere with some of the Darkubes stuck to the ground by chemicals.

Honey Lemon: Hey, Sora? I think I'm stuck.

Happy: We can see that.

Lucy: Is there anything we can do?

Honey Lemon: See if you can find the residue from the chem-balls. If you hit it with fire or electricity, it might trigger a chain reaction!

Laxus looked and saw different color residue on the Darkubes.

Laxus: They're all red, yellow, and blue. Probably representing which element to use against the Darkubes. Red Night, can you handle the red chemicals?

Drake: No problem!

Laxus: Star Woman, can you handle the blue chemicals?

Lucy: On it! (changed into her Aquarius Mode)

Happy: What about you?

Laxus: I'll take care of the yellow chemicals.

Listening to Laxus, Drake destroyed the red chemicals with his demonic power, Lucy destroyed the blue chemicals with water magic, and Laxus destroyed the yellow chemicals with lightning magic. 

Once all the chemicals were gone, Honey Lemon broke free from the sphere and join the others.

Honey Lemon: Gracias! Next time I won't go so easy on them.

*with Gray's team* 

Gray's team climbed up the tower were Wasabi was. When they arrived, he was inside a giant sphere made out of Darkubes.

Gray: Wasabi Can you hear me?

Wasabi: Absolute Zero! Am I glad to see you! I am not a big fan of heights. Hey, you think it dragged me up here 'cause it's scared of being attacked from above?

Gray: 'Attacked from above'? I need you guys to distract it from the bottom.

Donald, Goofy, and Juvia: Right

Everyone then started attacking it from the bottom. After having enough of it, the Darkubes had a tentacle pilar come out and knocked them away. But Gray and Ur had appeared over the Darkubes, ready to attack.

Ur: Ice-Make: Ice Impact!

Gray: Ice-Make: Hammer!

Ur created an intricately-designed hammer made of ice while Gray created a giant ice hammer as both ice weapons smashed it on top of the Darkubes, allowing Wasabi to break free.

Wasabi: Finally! Thanks for the save. I'll see if anyone else needs help.

*with Erza's team* 

Erza's team went after Go Go, who was inside a rolling Darkube sphere.

Wendy: Go Go! Are you in there?!

Go Go: Sky Sorceress! I don't know how to stop this thing. I tried slowing it down with my discs.

Erza: Sky Sorceress, use your magic to make the sphere turn towards us!

Wendy: Got it! Moonlight!

Carla: Yes! (carried Wendy into the air)

Wendy blasted a powerful wind spell, causing it to change direction. Once the sphere completely turned around, Wendy stopped her attack and the sphere started to role towards Erza, Modeus, and Lady. 

Lady fires her bazooka while Modeus unleashes his sword-like projectiles to weaken it. Once it came close, Erza requip into her Adamantine Armor and summon her shield. 

The sphere immediately crashed into her shield, causing all of the cubes to fall to the ground and Go Go emerged from them.

Go Go: Thanks. I owe ya.

*with Natsu's team* 

Natsu arrived at were Fred is. He was inside a Darkube sphere with the Darkubes connecting to several city light poles.

Natsu: Fred! You okay?!

Fred: I'm getting pulled in too many directions! You think you can free my arms and legs? Gotta find a weak point and loosen the Darkubes' grip!

Panther Lily: Try destroying the Darkubes connecting from the lights to the sphere.

Natsu, Gajeel, Kat, and Trish: Got it!

They immediately destroyed the connection of the poles to the sphere, causing the Darkubes to fall onto the ground and Fred emerged from the pile.

Fred: Pure appreciation, my man My citizens! They need me!

After saving everyone, everyone regrouped with Sora. Just then, Sora received a call.

Sora: Listen, Sora! The Darkubes have converged on a single location. Whatever's happening can't be good. I'm almost done pinpointing the core. If you need me to help-

Sora: Nah, it's okay, Hiro. We're on it.

Hiro: Thanks.

Everyone started to head to the roof of the tall building, where the Darkubes are gather. Once there, the cubes took a form of a giant sphere.

Go Go: Okay, there's a lot of them.

Gray: Who cares? 

Juvia: We can take them.

Goofy: What do ya suppose they'll do?

Wasabi: I don't think we wanna find out.

Lady: Yeah, what he said.

Fred: I say we destroy this thing!

Natsu: He gets it.

Donald: Yeah!

Happy: Time for some smashing!

Honey Lemon: But without a strategy, we'd just be wasting our strength.

Sora: If we knew where to strike...

Hiro: Sora! I got it! I'm sending you an AR software update. It'll show you where the core is-the Darkubes' weak point. I'm coming to help.

As Sora was looking at the Darkubes with his AR device, a waring flash came up, making Sora and the others confused.

Sora: Huh? That's weird. Is it busted?

Natsu: Weird fuzzy stuff appeared.

The AR device started to glitch. But when he looked down he saw someone wearing a black coat approaching towards them.

Sora: Hiro, who's that on the display?

Wendy: Um, Sora...

Goofy: That's not the display. He's really here.

Go Go: The black coat... He's back?

Modeus: You saw him?

???: Are you done messing around?

The group looked shocked.

Sora: What? (recognizes the voice) Wait, that voice...

Wasabi: Hold on. You...know this guy?

Fred: And now...enter the supervillian.

Honey Lemon: He definitely has the vibe.

The guy removed his hood, and the group looked surprised. It was Riku. However, he had longer hair, a younger structure, and gold yellow eyes.

Dark Riku: Funny. 

Sora: (de-summons his Keyblade) Riku... But... 

Drake: What the hell? 

Dark Riku: (materializes a red computer chip) As if this stupid experiment wasn't already a hassle.

Hiro: Huh? Where'd he get that?

Sora: Hiro, do you recognize it?

Hiro: Yeah...

Dark Riku: (looks at the chip) Not quite ready.

Kat: Hiro, what exactly is he holding?

Hiro: That's the first chip I made for Baymax. It's full of combat programs.

The team gasped.

Sora: Programs?

Hiro: Yeah, they tell Baymax how to react.

Goofy: Does that mean...it's like his heart?

Donald: Kind of...

Dark Riku: More then!

He threw the chip inside the Darkubes.

Erza: What did you do?!

But Dark Riku left through a dark corridor.

Sora: Riku!

Wendy: Look!

The Darkubes took the form of a three dimensional heat and started to spin like crazy. Dark walls rosed up and everyone was trapped as the Darkubes took the tentacle form again. The tentacle cubes then attacked the Big Hero 6 team and pushed them out of the area.

Sora: Oh no!

Hiro: Sora, I'm on my way. I'll look after my team. You guys fight the Darkubes! Remember to use the AR device to target the core!.

Sora: Got it!

Natsu: Fire Dragon Iron Fist!

Gajeel: Iron Dragon Club!

Natsu and Gajeel attacked the core, causing some damage to it. But the core immediately merged with the field. 

Suddenly, it quickly came out of the field and crashed into everyone, causing some mild pain. It kept on going, until everyone got annoyed.

Gray: Why you... Ice-Make: Shield!

Gray's shield stopped the Darkubes from crashing into them. Gray then made the ice spread onto the Darkubes, immobilizing them.

Gray: Do it now

Laxus: Lightning Dragon Roar!

The core took a direct hit from that attack, causing it to short circuit and the field covering them started to disappear. Once the field was gone, the Darkubes just fell to the ground. 

Leaving the red cube open. Sora ran up to it and slashed it. The red cube dropped the red chip when it was defeated.

Hiro: Baymax...

Hiro then ran up to the chip and tried to grab it, but Dark Riku already picked it up before he could.

Dark Riku: Oh, this isn't for you. At least not until we're done.

Hiro attempted to grab it, but Dark Riku jumped away from him and landed on a fan.

Sora: Riku... Is it you? Why do you look like that?

Dark Riku: Looks are deceiving, but the heart? You know that it's me.

Sora: I know Riku wouldn't do this. Not without a good reason.

Dark Riku: (scoffs) A reason? When did that ever matter? We've been trying to one-up each other since we were kids.

Sora: What...?

Natsu: Hey Sora, can I kick this guy's ass?!

Sora: But-

Donald: Don't listen to him, Sora!

Goofy: The coat means he's with Organization XIII!

Laxus: It's not him. He looks younger than the one we saw at the Tower. And besides, Mickey, Sabertooth and Crime Sorciere should be with him.

Dark Riku: Smarter than you look.

Goofy: We defeated Ansem and Xehanort-every last one of 'em. But still they all came back anyway, right? So, maybe this Riku 'came back' too, from the time when Ansem possessed him."

Donald: Yeah, from the past!

Lucy: He was like this in the past?

Trish: Talk about a jerk.

Modeus: How's that possible?

Dark Riku: Unlike a certain wizard you know, I had to play by the rules to travel through time. Which meant leaving my body behind.

Juvia: How could give up your body for time travel?! It's inhumane!

Dark Riku: It was the only way to receive that great power on our own.

Erza: Despicable. Sacrificing a body for power.

Sora looked surprised as he remembered what Young Xehanort told about time travel during his Mark of Mastery Exam.

Sora: I know about this... But...you have a body.

Dark Riku: (smirk) Xehanort's Heart left his body in order to voyage back through time. He needed to tell his younger self of the great plans he in store. There in the past, his heart stayed, and waited out the years until you and I came along. Xehanort's Heart possessed me and became Ansem, the first adversary you faced. The rest of him, the piece he left behind, took the name Xenmas and created the first Organization XIII. It was all a part of a larger plan to bring Xehanort into contact with the right hearts—enough of them for form the true Organization XIII. They could come from anywhere, and any when. Just as long as he had the right vessels at hand to place their hearts in.

Kat: Vessels?

Donald and Goofy: Replicas!

Dark Riku: That's right. The Replica Program was a success. We are as real as people.

Sora: Then pack up and leave! What are you still doing here?

Dark Riku: To see if we can recreate a heart from data.

Sora: What?

Dark Riku: (holds the chip up while mockingly) Sorry, did we steal your idea? (turns to Baymax) That walking balloon over there has a "heart." At least that's the nonsense I'm supposed to believe.

Sora: There are hearts all around us. You only have to see them for them to become real.

Hiro: (steps forward and gestures to the chip) Where'd you get that? That's my chip. I made it.

Dark Riku: Oh, well, I'm sorry about that. But I promise I'll put it right back where I found it.

Hiro: What do you mean?

Dark Riku: (turns to leave) I think I'll be getting back to work now. (exits in a dark corridor) 

Sora: Wait!

But he was already gone.

Gray: Bastard.

Hiro: We gotta stop him. Guys-

Hiro then saw his teammates sitting down and breathing heavily.

Baymax: You are all suffering from acute exhaustion. I recommend rest.

Hiro: (sighs) Yeah, you're right. Let's regroup.

As they were leaving, Sora and Hiro saw Laxus with a serious look.

Hiro: Laxus?

Laxus snapped out of it and faced them.

Sora: Are you okay?

Laxus: (sighs) I'm fine. Let's go.
