The group walked down the dark passage.

Flynn: Well I have to say, I didn't know you had that in you back there.

Rapunzel: I know! I know.

Erza: Yes. You should never judge a book by it's cover.

Gajeel: I got my moment on stage in a different world!

Gray: You guys are weird.

Happy: I wonder if those guys will be okay?

Natsu: I'm sure they're fine, they're tough dreamers.

Lady: You're right about that. 

Rapunzel: Sooo, Flynn. Where are you from?

Flynn: Whoa, whoa! Sorry, Blondie. I don't do back stories. However, I am becoming very interested in yours. Now, I know I'm not supposed to mention the hair.

Rapunzel: Nope.

Flynn: Or, the Mother.

Rapunzel: Uh, uh.

Flynn: Frankly I'm too scared to ask about the frog.

Rapunzel: Chameleon.

Flynn: Nuance. Here's my question, though, if you want to see the lanterns so badly, why haven't you gone before?

Erza: That's a question I would like to know too.

Rapunzel: Uhh, hey, well...

Before she could answer, the passageway started to rumble and several rocks started shaking from the vibration.

Rapunzel: Uh, Flynn?

Everyone turned and saw the guards running towards them.

Natsu: Oh, crap!

Captain: Rider!

Erza: Run, now!

The two of them started to run.

Gray: Ice-Make: Floor!

Gray covered the area in front of him with ice, making the guards slip and fall on their backs while Gray ran after the group.

Gray: What was that?

They saw some light and finally made it outside. It was a very large canyon area with a water wheel next to the entrance and a damn behind them.

Panther Lily: There's a ladder here! Come on!

But Flynn stop when he saw from a distance the two men from the bar exiting a cave at the bottom.

Rapunzel: Who's that?

Flynn: They don't like me.

The guards from before then exited the cave that the group came out of.

Gray: They passed the ice, huh?

Rapunzel: Who's that?

Flynn: They don't like me either.

The horse, Maximus, also exited the cave.

Rapunzel: Who's that?

Flynn: Lets just assume for the moment, that everyone here doesn't like me.

Rapunzel: Here!

Rapunzel handed her frying pan to Flynn, threw her hair at a piece of wood that was sticking out from the water current system, and swung to the otherside.

The Captain: (chuckles) I waited a long time for this.

He then pulled out his sword from his scabbard and swung his sword at Flynn. Flynn blocked the attack with the frying pan and hit him while Natsu punched him in the gut, sending him towards a wall and knocking him out. 

The guards charged at the group but were easily knocked out by the Fairy Tail members. The mages then jumped from the edge and landed where Rapunzel was.

Flynn: Oh mama, I have got to get me one of theses! 

Natsu: Hurry up, man!

Maximus then pointed one of the guard's sword at Flynn. He responded to the threat by pointing the frying pan at the horse with confidence.

Gray: Who do you think will win?

Natsu: My money's on that horse.

Happy: Aye. Look at his eyes and he knows how to use a sword.

Flynn: How could you guys be such jerks?!

Maximus then started attacking him with his sword but Flynn blocked the attacks with the frying pan. They continued to fight while the others watched.

Flynn: You should know that this is the strangest thing I have ever done!

Maximas then knocked the frying pan out of Flynn's hand and it fall to the bottom of the cliff.

Flynn: How about two out of three?

Maximus responded by pointed his sword at him.

Rapunzel: Flynn!

Rapunzel threw her hair and wrapped it around Flynn's right hand. She then pulled him off the edge while Flynn saluted to Maximus, making him drop his sword out of shock.

As he swung in the air, the two mean then approached Flynn and they were about to strike him down. Behind them, Heartless appeared and began to go after Flynn.

Fairy Tail members: Heartless!

Natsu: Let's get them!

Erza: Will you two be alright?

Rapunzel: Yes. (Erza then went after the Heartless) Flynn, look out!

Flynn saw the two men coming towards him and began to panic. Rapunzel then lifted her hair up, making Flynn move up just before they could hit him.

Flynn: Ha! You should see your faces because you look-

He was then hit in the stomach by a large piece of wood, making him stop from swinging. 

Flynn: (painful) Ridiculos.

Happy: Oh, that hurt!

Natsu: Fire Dragon Iron Fist!

Gray: Ice-Make: Lance!

Gajeel: Iron Dragon's Roar!

The boys combined their attacks along with Trish's lighting and Lady's bazooka and destroyed dozen of Heartless. 

Guard 2: Holy crap! What the hell are they?

Guard 3: They're monsters!

Captain: It doesn't matter who they are, those who assist criminals must be punished!

Guard 4: Uh... sir? I think we have a bigger problem right now.

Everyone turned around in surprise to see a group of four flying armored individuals known as Bianco Angelos.

Lady: What... what in the world are these things?!

Happy: They can fly?!

The four Bianco Angelos landed on the ground near the guards. 

Captain: (walks up to them) Halt! State you business! I am the captain go the guards of- 

He was cut off when one of the Bianco Angelos whack the captain with its spear, sending him into a wall. 

Natsu: Hey, pick on someone your own size! Fire Dragon Roar!

Natsu tried to blast a breath attack at the Bianco Angelos, but they blocked the attack with their combined armored shields.

Natsu: What the-?!

Gray: They blocked it?! 

???: Stand down. 

Everyone turn around at the cave as Erza drew her sword, while Trish drew her Umbre pistol and they both pointed at the individual in question clad in white with a determined and near-emotionless expression.

Erza: Who are you?

Credo: I am Credo, Captain of the Holy Knights of the Order of the Sword. 

Gajeel: The Order of the Sword? 

Credo: I've been tasked by his Holiness to retrieve Rapunzel. Hand over her to me, and I'll pull my forces back.

Trish: That is not going to happen.

Credo: Then you leave me no choice.

Credo drew his Durandal sword and pointed toward them. Erza was quick however to step in front, blocking Credo's path.

Erza: Everyone, protect Flynn and Rapunzel. Leave this to me. 

Trish: You got it.

The others went to help Flynn and Rapunzel, Erza alone to face Credo, the two circling each other like a pair of alpha predators, staring the other down in visual combat, each one silently daring the other to make the first move.

Credo: I did not come here expecting to cross blades with the infamous Titania. But it doesn't matter if I defeat you or not, we will retrieve what we came here to seek.

Erza: Before you can even think about going after Rapunzel, you'll have to deal with me first.

Erza drew a second sword and took a stance to face her enemy.

Credo: As you wish. (took a stance of his own) 

They faced each other for another moment before they both rushed to clash metal in the center. Credo swung with such ferocity, speed, and power, that Erza actually found herself on the defensive, despite the fact she had two blades and he only had one. 

Credo swung diagonally upward, hoping to slice at Erza's side, but she blocked and parried with her right blade before trying to swing down with her left sword, prompting Credo to actually jump over Erza, flipping in mid-air before landing behind her to slice toward her neck, but Erza reacted quickly enough to bring up her sword and block the attack before dealing a kick to Credo's chest, causing him to slide back as she attempted to distance herself from him.

Erza's mind: He doesn't seem to have any magic power. Yet his swordsmanship is nothing to laugh at. His form is perfect, striking with incredible speed, even with such a heavy weapon. He leaves little room for opening and is quick on his feet as well. Clearly this isn't his first duel.

Credo: You assume simply because I do not possess any magical power, you can defeat me? It would be wise not to underestimate me.

Credo spun a small dial on his blade before it stopped on a small symbol of a flame. He revved up his blade before his sword lit on fire, much to Erza's surprise as he went on the attack.

Erza tried to block the strike with her swords, but Credo's flaming Durandal slice through her own swords like butter, further surprising Erza. Credo attempted to press the attack, but Erza jumped backwards to gain some distance before she transformed into her Flame Empress Armor and shot towards Credo with her own flaming sword. 

Both blades clashed to create a wave of flame that spread across the area while they continued to slice and parry with their respective swords of fire. They locked blades again as they glared at one another.

Credo: So your magic allows you to requip into different armors and weapons, each having their own unique magical ability. Impressive, who would have thought my weapon would be so similar to yours.

Erza: (surprise) What?

Credo flipped the dial on his sword again, this time to a symbol resembling a set of icicles, the flames in his Durandal ceased and were replaced with an icy wind before he sliced outward to knock Erza back, her blade and most of her armor was now coated in ice.

Erza's mind: His sword can alternate between fire and ice?

Credo swung his blade downward to send a trail of ice-spikes straight at Erza, quickly switched to her Flight Armor to move out of the way and zoom behind Credo to try and attack, but Credo had anticipated this as he plunged his sword into the ground to create a ring of ice-spikes around him and halt Erza's advance.

Credo: As I said, I do not wield magic. I was born without the use of any. But that doesn't mean I'm helpless. In order to become a true warrior, one capable of battling with the likes of you, as well as those who dwell in the Underworld, I had to wield a weapon just as powerful. My Durandal is equipped with multiple elemental lacrima, allowing me to combine their power with my swordsmanship, which I've trained in since I was a child. And I promise, others within the Order also wield similar weapons.

Erza's mind: So, his weapon is able to utilize different types of elemental magic. I can't help but draw comparisons to Erza Knightwalker in Edolas, who could transform her weapon to utilize different magics in a similar method. Perhaps I did underestimate him, but it won't happen again.

Erza then changed once more, this time into her Heaven's Wheel Armor as a ring of swords circled around her back. 

Erza: Your name is Credo, correct? If you are truly the leader of the so-called Order of the Sword, then show me what enables you to maintain such a position! Show me your strength!

Credo: As you wish, Erza Scarlet!

Credo changed the dial on his blade, this time it switched into a symbol resembling a tornado as his blade was engulfed in what appeared to be a miniature tornado, which he spun around to generate a powerful whirlwind around his body. He and Erza stared each other down for a moment before they clashed once again.

Rapunzel then saw Maximus kicking a piece of wood that hold a punch of water in a wooden container while guards got up from the ground. 

Maximus finally kicked it down, making a narrow bridge towards Rapunzel while water leaked out.

Flynn: Come on, Blondie!

Flynn was standing on the wooden pipe river while holding the end of Rapunzel's hair.

Flynn: Jump!

Right before Maximus could catch her hair, Rapunzel jumped into the air and swung towards the ground. She then ran after see the two men from before chasing after her. Flynn then slide down the pipe river and jumped down from it to reach Rapunzel, destroying it and making water fall down from it. 

Suddenly, the dam immediately burst and water that the dam was holding back came pouring down, covering the entire with water and consuming everyone in it. Rapunzel and Flynn ran as fast as they could and entered a cave. A giant rock then started to fall when the strong current cause it to move and landed in front of the cave's entrance.

Erza: Rapunzel! Flynn!

Credo and the Bianco Angelo jumped or flew out of the way while Erza and the other wizards were pushed alongside the current of the rushing water.

Gray: Erza, grab on!

She grab Gray's hand and hold onto him.

Gray: Ice-Make: Grappling Hook!

Gray summon two ice grappling hooks and threw them at a nearby cliff. Gray then pulled them and he and Erza came out of the rushing water and landed on the edge of the cliff. Both of them turn and saw Happy and Panther Lily carrying Natsu and Gajeel out of the water.

Natsu: Holy crap that was awesome!

Gray: Now is not the time!

Gajeel: We need to find Rapunzel and Flynn.

Natsu: Hold on, I'm picking up their scents.

Natsu started sniffing the air. He then pointed north. 

Natsu: This way!

The wizards start moving while Credo was watching from up high. 

Credo: It appears we have failed. (walks away) No matter, I'm sure Marluxia will finish the job.

After traveling for a while, the wizards were still following Natsu alongside a river bank.

Gray: Are you sure you know where you're going?

Natsu: Yes I know, shut up!

Gajeel: He's not wrong. I can smell them too. And they're here.

Erza: Where?

Suddenly, water burst out of the rocks from the cliff. They then saw Rapunzel and Flynn coming out of the river, coughing really hard.

Erza: Rapunzel! Flynn!

Erza and the other wizards ran up to them.

Gray: You alright?

Rapunzel: We made it.

Flynn: (shock) Your hair glows.

Gajeel: What? 

Rapunzel: We're alive! We're alive!

Flynn: Didn't see that coming. Your hair actually glows.

Panther Lily: Flynn, what are you talking about?

Flynn: Why does your hair glow?

Natsu: What do you mean 'glow'?

Flynn: Her hair glows!

They all looked at Rapunzel, who was pulling her hair out of the water.

Rapunzel: It doesn't just glow.

On the ground, her pet Chameleon looked at Flynn with a smile.

Flynn: Why is he smiling at me?

Happy: Now I'm confused.

It was getting dark out. In the dark forest, Mother Gothel was hiding behind a rock, holding her knife. She looked passed the rock and saw a tree with a large hole in it. At the bottom of the hole was a small door with a duck symbol on it. 

She then heard someone coughing and started to walk slowly towards the tree, holding her knife. But when it open, the two men that chased Flynn and Rapunzel came out, coughing really hard. Mother Gothel then went behind the rock and observed the men.

Man: I'll kill him. I'll kill that Rider!

Eye patch man: Those people with the strange clothing are strange. Especially the way they fight. They're pretty scary.

Man: Yeah. Anyway, cut him off at the Kingdom. Get back the crown.

Before they could walk away, Mother Gothel approached the two men.

Mother Gothel: Bo-oys! (The two men turned and faced  her) Perhaps you want to stop acting like wild dogs chasing their tails and think for a moment.

She then showed them Flynn's bag that had the crown. The two men responded by grabbing their swords and faced her with a dark expression on their faces.

Mother Gothel: (chuckles) Oh, please. There's no need for that.

She then tossed the bag at the men. One of them catched it, open the bag, and grabbed the crown that was inside. Both of them smiled with relief.

Mother Gothel: Well, if that's all you desire then be on your way. I was going to offer you something worth one thousand crowns woulda made you rich beyond belief and that wasn't even the best part. O well, selavie. Enjoy your crown!

Man: What's the best part?

Mother Gothel: It comes with revenge on Flynn Rider. (showing Flynn's wanted poster) 

Both men smirked upon hearing this.

???: Hey!

Mother Gothel: Hide!

Both men hide while she went to check who's out there. She saw Sora, Donald, Goofy, and the other members of Fairy Tail. 

Donald: We've been searching for them for hours. Are you sure they went this way?

Wendy: Well, they haven't been in this area, but I can smell their scents from somewhere else.

Lucy: We still believe you. You and Laxus are the only ones with enhance sense of smell.

Sora: I wonder where they went.

Kat: They could be resting for now, so we're probably not too far from them.

Goofy: Yeah, Kat's right, they couldn't have gotten too far.

Juvia: I'm still worried about them. 

Donald: You just had to stop and talk.

Sora: Hey! Blame the has-been, not me.

Carla: We need to know who the enemy is anyway.

Goofy: I think you mean Marluxia. I bet that's the name the has-been would prefer.

Laxus: Whatever he is, he's part of the Organization. Therefore, our enemy.

Sora: Hellooo?! Rapunzel?! Flynn?!

???: Excuse me, good travelers.

Drake: Who's there? 

The group turned and saw Mother Gothel approach them.

Mother Gothel: Do you know Rapunzel?

Sora: Uh, yeah... Sort of.

Donald Duck: Why?

Mother Gothel: My apologies. I'm Rapunzel's mother, Gothel. The poor child left home without a word, and I've just been worried sick. Please tell me: where is my dear, sweet girl.

Goofy: We'd tell ya, but we lost her.

Donald: By accident.

Wendy: We're really sorry. 

Sora: We could look together.

Mother Gothel: (annoyed) Lost her? You're of no use to me.

 She then started to walk away from the group with a dark expression on her face. 

Mother Gothel: (to herself) I'll find her myself.

Drake: Wow, rude much? 

Donald: She ran away from home?

Ur: But we were with her, weren't we?

Sora: What if Marluxia was onto something back there?

Donald: You trust Organization XIII?

Sora: What? No! Of course not. But...what if?

Drake: Yeah, he might have not been right... but he did give a few points on what's going on here. But I'll never trust 'the darkness complimenting the light' statement, that's a complete lie.

Goofy: I agree. Why is Rapunzel in danger, and what darkness is after her?

Sora: Well guys, the first step is to find her.

Laxus: Didn't that woman seem off to you?

Modeus: Indeed. I think there's something more about Rapunzel's past.

It was now dark out and Rapunzel, Flynn, and the rest of the Fairy Tail members set up a fire and places to sleep. Flynn explain his situation with the Fairy Tail wizards about why the guards were chasing him. 

They asked him to return the crown once this is over, making him grimace. At the fire, Rapunzel wrapped her hair around Flynn's hand.

Flynn: So, you're being strangely cryptic as you wrap your magic hair around my injured hand. (grunts in pain) 

Rapunzel: Sorry. Just don't...don't freak out.

Rapunzel then started to sing and her hair started to glow brightly.

Natsu: Whoa, how is she doing that?

Gajeel: I don't know. Don't ask me.

When she stop singing, her hair stopped glowing. Flynn then removed the hair off his hand and saw the wound that he had before was now gone. He started breathing heavily and then he was about to scream.

Rapunzel: Please don't freak out!

Flynn: (held his scream) I'm not freaking out. Are you freaking out? No, I'm just very interested in your hair and the magical qualities it possesses, how long has it been doing that exactly?

Rapunzel: Uh. Forever, I guess. 

Natsu: Whoa...

Erza: This is like Wendy's Sky Healing Magic.

Rapunzel: Sky Healing Magic?

Trish: Wendy doesn't only use the power of wind, she can also heal wounds, fevers, and diseases.

Rapunzel: Oh. Well, Mother said when I was a baby, people tried to cut it. They wanted to take it for themselves.

She then revealed her back neck, showing a brown short curly hair. 

Rapunzel: Once it's cut, it turns brown and loses its power. A gift like that, it has to be protected. That's why mother never let me... That's why, I never left...

Flynn: You never left that tower. And your still gonna go back?

Rapunzel: No! Yes... (puts her hands on her face and sighed) It's complicated.

Erza: I think you guys need some alone time. Come one. Let's get some more firewood.

The other wizards nodded and went after Erza, leaving Flynn and Rapunzel alone at the campsite.

(time-skip)

Gray: (gathered some wood) It makes sense that her mother refused her idea to leave home. But she should at least give her some fresh air once in a while.

Lady: Yeah. The only entrance to that tower is the hidden trail in the woods and I don't think anyone has seen that trail before.

Gajeel: Not only that, nobody knows if she does have healing powers.

Panther Lily: She'll just be known as a girl with long golden hair.

Natsu: Though if she wanted to protect Rapunzel, why doesn't her mother cut her hair so no one gets it.

Trish: That's actually a fair point. (looks at Erza) What do you think Erza?

Erza stood there, quietly holding some wood in her arms. 

Erza: The reason we came to this world. Do you why?

All of them shook their heads.

Erza: I think we came here to protect her because of her powers. I originally thought we were here to make her dream come true by taking her to see the lanterns. But after fighting the Heartless and seeing her powers, it made me thought that the Heartless are after her healing powers.

Gajeel: That makes some sense. Those guys are always down to power.

???: Are you enjoying your adventure?

Natsu: Who's there?!

A dark corridor then appeared in front of them, and Marluxia appeared before them.

Gray: You're an Organization XIII member!

Marluxia: Yes. My name is Marluxia.

Trish: Are you after Rapunzel?

Marluxia: You could say that. I am merely watching over her so she doesn't fall into any danger.

Gajeel: Why would you of all people would try to protect her?

Marluxia: You should realize why you came to this world, as you have explain to them. (looks at Erza) Mrs...?

Erza: Erza Scarlet.

Marluxia: Well, Mrs. Scarlet. Despite what happen earlier today at the canyon, all of you have done a tremendous job of protecting her. I would like you to keep protecting her.

Lady: That means we have to fight you?

Natsu: I'll roast this guy up! The guy with the pink hair is going down!

Happy: (pulled Natsu back) Hold on, buddy!

Erza: (walked towards Marluxia) Why do you want us to protect her? (stop close to him) What is your goal?

Marluxia: All the Organization seeks is balance. In the meantime, use your powers to keep Rapunzel safe.

Marluxia summons a dark corridor behind him and started to walk away.

Erza: Wait!

Erza charged after him with her sword in hand and attempted to strike him. But it was too late and Marluxia disappeared.

Gray: These guys just get weirder and weirder by the minute.

Panther Lily: It's really late out. We should return and get some rest.

Gajeel: Yeah.

Natsu: Erza? You all right?

Erza: Yes. Just thinking on what he said.
