Ur: Vali is responsible?

Trish: Yeah, he is.

After Wendy was kidnaped, the wizards of Fairy Tail quickly rushed to the guild hall to inform Master Makarov of what just happened; the ones present were Laxus, Ur, Trish, Kat, Erza, Natsu, Lady, Gray, Juvia, Lucy, Gajeel, Happy, and Carla. Mest and Panther Lily were in the infirmary with the others.

Makarov: Did he state his reason why he has taken these actions?

Erza: No he has not.

Natsu: Who the hell cares?! After everything he's done, I'm gonna beat him so hard in the ground he's gonna think he's a fossil!

Happy: Natsu calm down...

Natsu: No way! Not until that bastard gets a taste of my fist!

Lucy: Hey, are you forgetting what happened last time you tried to fight him?

Gray: He sucker punched us.

He remembers when they first met Vali and how he was able to beat him, Natsu, and Erza.

Gajeel: I want a piece of that punk to. That pretty boy is just begging for someone to knock him off his high horse.

Laxus: You're not the only one who has grudge on Vali. He's gonna pay for taking my teammate as well.

Lady: Will you guys wait for just a second? Vergil isn't someone you can just charge at; you have no idea how strong he is.

Erza: She's right. We know very little about him, and we also know that he was strong enough to even bring down Mira, whose skills even rival mine.

Juvia: Not to mention Drake himself confirmed that Vali was stronger than him.

Happy: Then why don't we just ask Drake how to handle this?

Lucy: Well, where is Drake?

They all looked around and he wasn't present with him. Come to think of it, they hadn't seen him since Vali made off with Wendy, after Carla gave him quite the scolding.

Carla: What was the last thing Vali said? Meet me where we first played and got lost?

Makarov: (to Kat, Lady and Trish) Does that mean anything to you three?

Kat: (shook her head) I'm afraid not.

Lady: No, doesn't ring a bell.

Trish: Drake didn't say anything like that when we worked together, he rarely talked about Vali.

Gajeel: Something tells me that Drake knows.

Lucy: If he knows where Vali is hiding... Wait, you don't think he went to fight him by himself do you?

Trish: It wouldn't surprise me.

Ur: What is he thinking?!

Natsu: He's not going in this alone! (charged up with fire and sprinted out the door)

Lady: Where's he going?

Happy: He's going to look for Drake.

Erza: Which will also lead us to Vali.

Lucy: And wherever he's keeping everyone else that he's taken.

Trish: How would Natsu know? Does he even know where he's going?

Gray: I wouldn't worry, Natsu has a nose for prey that would put wild predators to shame.

Gajeel: Well he ain't getting left out of the action! (ran out following Natsu)

Happy: Natsu! Gajeel! Wait up! (flew after the two Dragon Slayers)

Lucy: Well come on, let's go help them out! 

Juvia: We shouldn't rush this however, Vali is extremely dangerous.

Gray: Which is why we all should be going.

Erza: Then let us go! 

Erza, Gray, Juvia, Laxus, Ur, and Lucy ran out.

Trish: We should get going too.

Lady: Yeah, let's go. 

Carla: I am coming with you as well, Wendy needs me.

Kat: Sure. (scold) But you better apologize to Drake when you see him. 

Carla looks down with some shame. The four then left, leaving Master Makarov alone.

Makarov's mind: Drake, you don't have to face this alone. I understand that you feel responsible for your brother's actions, but you shouldn't be afraid to ask for help; after all, that's what friends are for.

Mest came toward Makarov, being the first to recover. 

Mest: Master. 

Makarov: Shouldn't you be recovering along with the others, Mest? 

Mest: I'll be fine. 

Makarov: Good. Because I have a job for you. 

Mest: What is it? 

Makarov: If what I heard about Vali is true, and that best the likes of Drake and Mirajane, we're going to an extra hand if we're to stop him. 

Mest: (realized) You don't mean- 

Makarov: (nodded) We're going to need the help of Gildarts. 

Meanwhile, outside Magnolia, it was still night outside; the only light being a large stream of fire, trailing behind the sprinting Natsu.

Natsu: I'M COMING FOR YOU VALI!!!

Speaking of Vali, he was seen in a meditative stance, standing in front of the large green fire in the massive chamber; with his many prisoners chained in the air behind him.

Cana: You're a real sicko! You know that?!

Levy: You took Wendy too?! What kind of monster attacks a twelve-year-old girl?!

Wendy was next to Cana looking down in shame at being captured so easily.

Elfman: You call yourself a man?!

Bickslow: Pay attention to us, you self-righteous freak!

Regardless, Vali remained in his meditative stance, unphased at the insults thrown his way.

Vali: Do you plan on doing this much longer? Because simply throwing words my way is how a child acts.

That earned glares from almost everyone.

Mirajane: Tell me, do you enjoy this? Hurting others like this? I may not have known your father, but I know that he would be ashamed of you!

Vali: (without a trace of emotion) I don't really care.

Freed: How can someone who is the son of Sparda and the brother of Drake be so cold-hearted? 

Vali: In this world, emotions and humans are of little consequences. With emotion comes weakness, with weakness comes death. My father was indeed one of the strongest demons to ever live, however, his death was a result of his care for the human race. If you are to become stronger, then you must sever your weakness of your emotion.

Wendy: How can you say that? You're half demon, so doesn't that also mean you're half human?

Vali's eyes went open with that. He slowly stood up and turned around. The look he gave Wendy made her paralyze with fear.

Vali: Yes. I am physically half human, but that is something I greatly despise. My human-side is weak.

Evergreen: You think humans are weak?

Freed: You clearly know nothing about humans. 

Vali: Humans have such short life spans, on top of it, they are a species that's on a path of self destruction. Despite that, they still follow the law of nature within their own species. Just as the demons follow the law of nature to humans as they are stronger.

Cana: Law of nature?

Vali: The survival of the fittest. If you are strong, you live. If you are weak, you die. Humans are weak, and I will not be weak. My life will not be wasted like all other humans, which is why I've made the choice to sever my humanity.

That comment made all the wizards' eyes go wide with shock.

Levy: Sever your humanity? What do you mean?

Vali: I may be half-human, physically. But that is all that's left of it. All my human emotions have been erased; love, hate, anger, greed, fear, compassion, it is all gone.

Lisanna: (shocked) Y-You erased your emotions?! 

Mirajane: How... How can you say that like it's nothing?! How can you just get rid of your humanity?!

Vali: I don't expect you to understand, after all, none of you are demons. 

*with Drake* 

Drake: (sigh) Well, here I am.

He stood before a large, black, castle that was at least three-times as large as the Fairy Tail guildhall. What really stood out was the stone image of Sparda's face just above the 12-foot entrance to the castle.

Drake: Let's get this over with, bro.

Before Drake could enter however, someone called out his name.

???: Drake!

He was slightly startled at that; but was even more surprised as he recognized the voice. He soon heard others call his name as well.

???: Drake! Drake!

He turned around and he saw Natsu running up towards the castle, with Happy flying by his side. Right behind him was Kat, Trish, Laxus, Ur, Erza, Gajeel, Lady, Lucy, Gray, and Juvia, with Carla flying at the back of the pack.

Drake: Wha... What the hell are you guys doing here?!

Gray: We're here to back you up, what's it look like?

Drake: How'd you even find this place?

Gajeel: Salamander and I can smell you from a mile away.

Natsu: Not to mention I can smell that piece of crap Vergil!

Erza looked at the large scary castle, which had lightning bolts shoot in the background.

Erza: So this is where everyone's being held?

Lucy: Why do bad guys always pick scary hideouts?

Lady: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go.

Drake: No! (surprised everyone present) This is something I have to do alone; all of you are going back!

Natsu punched his palm, which had embers come off from the impact.

Natsu: You ain't scaring me into leaving! I'm gonna make Vergil pay for what he's done!

Drake: Guys...

Natsu: Did you forget? Vergil kidnapped Wendy, Mira, and the others; we're not leaving without them! (to Happy) Right Happy?

Happy: Aye sir!

Carla: I will not leave Wendy in the hands of that vile man!

Drake: Look, I promise, I'm gonna bring them all back with me. But you are not coming with me!

Kat: What is it with you Drake? Why do you always want to do things alone?

Drake: I've put you guys through enough trouble already, this is the least I can do.

Ur: You are not responsible for all that has happened!

Juvia: Vali is the one who is to blame.

Drake: He's my brother, he's my responsibility!

Lucy: (sighed a bit) Look, all of us know you two have a history, and you have your own personal reasons for doing this. He may be your brother, but we're your friends and we wanna help you. And not matter what happens, we're always gonna have your back.

Gray: Yeah, she's right.

Dante: He will KILL YOU!!!

Natsu: Hey, we ain't easy to kill! That guy's not gonna get rid of us that easy!

Happy: Aye, you tell him.

Drake: Guys, I'm telling you- 

Laxus: That kind of attitude is only gotta get our friends killed, you know. 

Drake: (gasp in surprised)  

Laxus: This whole mess started because Vali challenged you to a dual, now that you joined Fairy Tail he's picking us down, one-by-one. So everyone left in the guild has to fight. (glares) And as for me, I'll start by stomping him for attacking and kidnapping the Thunder Legion. 

Gajeel: That brother of yours needs to be taught a lesson. And we're just the wizards to do it.

Drake was quite surprised to hear all this support.

Kat: Look, Drake, there's nothing wrong with asking for help.

Lady: Plus I got a score to settle with Vergil too.

Trish: And before you go back to 'it's too dangerous for you guys', that isn't gonna work with us, not with this guild.

Erza: Drake, believe me, I can understand what you are feeling right now. But friends are always there to help you, even if you think you don't want it. That's the point of a family, to always be there for each other. So let us help you.

Natsu: And this isn't just about you. Vali kidnapped people from our guild, he's declared war on all of Fairy Tail! This is just as much of our business as it is yours.

The red-clad Devil Hunter turned around. He never received this kind of support before in his life. Even after everything that went down, they were still willing to stand by his side. 

Drake was actually for a moment before collecting himself. He knew some of these people and how stubborn they can be, telling them 'no' was not going to work.

Drake: (sighs) Alright. (everyone smiled) But, no one goes anywhere alone, and you absolutely do not fight Vergil alone, got it?

Everyone: Got it.

Dante: Alright then. (face the castle) Lets go kick my bro's ass!

Temple Chamber.

The scene that took place outside was seen in an image shown in the large green demonic fire before disappearing. Vali had seen the whole thing.

Bickslow: You're in trouble buddy!

Cana: Yeah! Prepare to have your ass handed to you.

Elfman: Picking a fight with Fairy Tail was a HUGE mistake!

Vali turned around towards his prisoners.

Vali: How foolish do you think I am?

This earned confused looks from everyone.

Vali: Did you honestly believe I wasn't prepared for those wizards to accompany my brother? I was expecting them.

Lisanna: You were expecting this? 

Vergil then reached into his robe and pulled out what appeared to be a black gauntlet, with five red rubies imbedded on the hand. 

Vali put this gauntlet on his right hand and outstretched it over the floor.

Vali: I call upon you! Your master summons you to his side!

The red gems began to glow and spark electricity. Dark purple electric bolts shot from the palm of the gauntlet to the ground, where it all light with the electricity.

It stopped after a few seconds; as soon as it did, several small white spheres hovered off the ground and circled Vali; soon six more larger spheres hovered in front of Vali. 

One of them was glowing orange with a firey aura, the second one was glowing purple with an electric aura, the third was glowing blue with an icy aura, the fourth was glowing red with a blood aura, the fifth was glowing pink with a mist aura, the last one was glowing dark green with a foggy aura. 

The red sphere: You! The eldest son of the accused traitor Sparda!

The blue sphere: How would you summon us as your slaves?!

The orange sphere: You are not our master!

The purple sphere: We serve only one master, the darkness that is Mundus!

The pink sphere: We will never being your pets, half-breed!

Vali: You forget that as long as I have this gauntlet in my possession, you are bound to my will and do what it is I ask.

The spheres glowed even brighter with anger.

Vali: However, I can remedy that.

The pink sphere: We are listening. 

The blue sphere: Speak straight! Son of Sparda.

Vali: I have an assignment for all of you. Complete it, and you shall have your freedom. I will release you back to your first master.

The red sphere: Very well, we will accept your terms.

The orange sphere: If you deceive us, you shall pay for it with your life.

Vali: I speak the truth.

The purple sphere: Then what is it you ask of us?

*with Drake's group* 

Drake lead Natsu, Happy, Erza, Laxus, Ur, Trish, Gajeel, Carla, Lady, Gray, Lucy, Kat, and Juvia deeper into the temple.

They were currently walking through a large hallway that was decorated with large statues of Sparda. The statues all showed him kneeling with his sword facing the walls, the heroes walked in between them.

Lucy: So... what is this place?

Happy: Whoever built this place was obviously a fan of your dad, Dante.

Gray: Fan? More like worshipers.

Drake: This is an ancient temple. I don't know who exactly built it; but they worshiped my old man like a god.

Ur: Sounds like your old man has a fan club. 

Juvia: How did you know Vali would be here?

Drake: He told me.

Trish: What, you mean 'meet me where we first played and got lost'? 

Drake: (nodded)

Lady: What exactly did that mean?

Drake: Well, when Vali and I were really little; our folks took us out for a picnic on a place not too far from here. We were playing Tag, we stumbled into this place and we decided to play Hide and Seek here, unfortunately we got lost. We didn't get out till our parents came looking for us.

Carla: I see, so that's what Vali meant.

Erza: You're sure he's here with everyone else?

Drake: Positive.

Natsu: Yeah, I can smell everyone; Wendy, Mira, Elfman, Cana...

Laxus: The Thunder Legion...

Gajeel: And Levy. Yeah, they're here alright.

A few moments later, the group came to a large, circular room at the end of the hall. Once they all entered it, they looked around for a door or something, but there was nothing.

Lady: Dead end.

Lucy: Then let's head back.

Lucy was about to head out, but the door slammed shut as a stone wall fell in the door way, much to everyone's shock.

Natsu/Gray/Gajeel: What the hell?!

Happy: We're trapped!

Drake: (scowl) He knows we're here.

Before anyone else could react however, several walls quickly arose from the floor and stretched out towards the ceiling, separating everyone into smaller groups, trapped in smaller sections. 

Drake was stuck in one; Natsu and Laxus were in the one next to him; Gajeel, Happy, Gray, and Carla were in the one on the right of that one; next to theirs were Erza and Kat; on their right were Lucy and Juvia; next to theirs was Ur, finally Lady and Trish.

*with Lucy and Juvia*

Lucy: What the heck is going on?! Are you guys okay?

Juvia turned to the wall behind them and looked somewhat frightened at what she saw.

Juvia: Uh... Lucy?

Lucy turned around to what Juvia was pointing at and saw the wall had somehow become liquefied, but what surprised them even more were two tentacles coming out of the wall.

Before they could react, each of the tentacles ensnared and tied up one of the girls. They both screamed as they were pulled into the wall which then became solid.

*with Gray, Gajeel, Happy, and Carla*

Happy: Was that Lucy?

Carla: Think that was Juvia too.

Gray: Then you two better move, cause we're about to bust our way though!

Gray and Gajeel were about to unleash their magic and blast a hole through the wall, but Gajeel noticed something.

Gajeel: Hey, does this floor feel funny to you?

They both looked down and saw the floor had turned into some kind of liquid. They both then fell in. Gajeel and Gray yelled as they struggled to get up, but it felt like quicksand and they were quickly sinking.

Happy: Hang on guys!

Happy grabbed Gajeel's hand and tried to pull him up, and Carla did the same for Gray, but both wizards were still sinking.

Carla: It's no use, and we're getting pulled in with them!

Both flying cats sunk into the liquid floor with both wizards and the floor solidified.

*with Ur* 

Ur: Gray? (looks around) Just where the hell is everybody? 

Suddenly, vines came from the wall as they wrap around Ur's body. 

Ur: What the hell?! (struggles to break free) What's with these vines?! 

Ur then felt she was being pulled into the wall before it closed after she entered. 

*with Natsu and Laxus*

Natsu: (yelled from his room) Hey! Who's screaming?!

Laxus: Would you stop yelling? I'm standing next to you.

However, the ceiling opened up above them and a powerful wind had now formed and was pulling them up. They tried to grab onto the floor but were unable to.

Natsu: Aw man! I hate freaking booby traps!

Laxus: This doesn't look good! 

They were sucked into the ceiling, which closed after they entered.

*with Erza and Kat*

Erza and Kat looked around in her room at the sounds of yelling.

Kat: Guys!

Erza was about to requip into one of her armors, however, chains burst up from the ground and quickly ensnared her and Kat.

Kat: What the heck?!

Erza: What is this?!

She and Kat struggled to get out of the chains. Without any warning, the chains swiftly pulled them into the ground.

*with Trish and Lady*

Trish: (sarcastic) Things just keep getting better and better.

Lady: Stand back, I'm gonna blast our way out of here.

She pulled out her bazooka; however, a trap door opened underneath both of them.

Trish/Lady: Oh crap.

They fell and the trap door closed behind them.

*with Drake*

Drake looked around at the sound of everyone screaming.

Drake: Guys!? What is going on?!

The wall behind him opened up soon after that, and a strong and powerful wind tried to pull him in. He struggled as he tried to resist, he even took out Rebellion and jammed it into the floor. 

He was being blown of his feet, but Rebellion wasn't enough as it was loosened from its grip and he was sucked into the wall.

with Erza and Kat*

Erza and Kat landed hard on the cold ground. Though she quickly got up and dusted herself off. She took the time to look around at her surroundings.

Erza: Where are we?

It appeared that they were in a large dungeon as it was decorated with chains and many skeletons.

Kat: Looks like we're in some kind of dungeon.

Erza: I'm guessing then we're on our own for now.

However, the two were suddenly hit with a bolt of electricity. Erza took most of the hit, but Kat did receive a couple wounds.

Kat: Ow, that hurt!

Erza: What was that? 

They hear dark chuckling, and turned to see a woman appeared in purple lightning and bats near them. She had orange-red hair and red eyes with orange-cat-like slits. She wears a black outfit and she as vampire-like fangs and fingernails. 

Woman: Hmmm! Welcome, children! Is this your first time here? 

Erza: Who are you? 

Nevan: You can call me Nevan. 

Kat: (shocked) Nevan?! 

Erza: (surprised) Wasn't that the name of Drake's weapon? 

Kat: It was, this Nevan's form before she became a Devil Arm. But how is that even possible? 

Nevan: You can thank Vali for giving me life, though I am bound to be his slave which is not my kind of taste. But he promise me freedom after I exterminate you. 

Kat: So, you're going to fight us? 

Nevan: Not yet, you have to fight my friends first. 

Nevan snapped her fingers as the Fairy Tail wizards spotted multiple pairs of red eyes in the darkness surrounding her. There was a bright glow and Erza was now requipped in her Flame Empress Armor.

She lit her large red sword on fire and it illuminated the entire chamber. There they could see dozens of demons that each bore the appearances of gorilla-like creatures.

Kat: Demons!

Erza: I trust that you are our welcoming committee?

The demons roared and snarled.

Erza: However, we did not come all this way from you; be gone now and your lives will be spared.

The demons gave even louder roars at declarnation and jumped towards them with deadly intention.

Erza: If this is the path you choose, then so be it! (looks at Kat) Are you ready?

Kat: Yeah, I'm ready when you are.

Erza gave her trademark yell as they charged at the incoming demons while Nevan watches this with a smirk on her face.

Nevan: Let's see how special those humans are.

*Trish and Lady*

Lady was offered a hand by Trish, which she gratefully took. They looked and saw that they were actually outside the castle.

Lady: How the hell did we end up out here?

Trish: I don't know, (motioning towards a nearby lake) but maybe they can tell us how to get in.

Multiple creatures emerged from the lake; they each had looks similar to mermaids, with dark blue scales, claws, red eyes, fangs; and each bore a trident. They snarled and hissed at the two Devil Hunters.

Lady: (sarcastic) Oh look, the welcome wagon.

Just then, the two Devil Hunters saw a monstrous demon landed on the ground behind the water demons. This one  is a very large lizard-like demon with four wings which can unfold from his back.

Demon: Sparda! Sparda! 

Trish: What is that thing? 

Beowulf: (looks down at the girls) I am no thing, I am Beowulf! 

Lady: (shocked) No way! Beowulf?!

Trish: You heard that demon? 

Lady: Yeah, Drake told me that Vali killed him and he became one of his Devil Arms. How the hell is he still alive? 

Beowulf: That son of the traitor Sparda gave me life, but now I'm bound to his pet until I kill anyone who sides with his younger brother! 

Trish: You mean Drake? Sorry, but that's not gonna happen. 

Beowulf: (sniffs) That odor, I know it.

Lady: Huh? 

Trish: (sniffs herself) I don't smell bad, big guy.

Beowulf: It's the stench of betrayal. The odor of that accursed Sparda's wife Eva! I will annihilate traitors to the demon world and every last blood relation of Sparda!

Trish: Sorry lizard freak, that's not gonna happen!

Lady: What she said!

Lady pulled out two pistols and Trish drew her sword Sparda.

*with Ur* 

Ur was currently inside the castle as feels the temperature that suddenly dropped low.

Ur: The temperature is low to a cold level. Did they changed the heating of this place or something? 

Ur found the entrance to the was filled with ice and icicles. She then saw an icicle statue three frozen dog heads.

Ur: What kind of statue looks like a three headed dog? 

Suddenly, the icicle statue that had three frozen dog heads fell apart revealing a huge dog-like demon with three heads that was covered in ice.

Ur: (surprised) Holy crap!

It tore itself free and walked in front Ur with chains on its back as it roared ferociously. When an ice block launched in front of her, she dodged before it could hit her.

Demon: Leave now, mortal! The likes of you are forbidden in this land! You who are powerless are not worthy to set foot here!

Ur: Wow, I've never seen a talking mutt before. And who are you suppose to be? 

Cerberus: I am Cerberus! Master of ice and a member of the Cerberus tribe!

Ur: Cerberus? Drake killed you and made you one of his weapons? 

Cerberus: He did, but Vali revived me as one of his slaves! But he offered me a chance of freedom if I kill you!

Ur: (smirk) I guess you're right about the slave part, you really are a dog on a leash. 

Cerberus: You, a mere human, make a mockery of me?!

He blew a blast of ice at Ur, making her move out of the way and causing it to freeze the entrance behind them.

Ur: Easy Fido! I want to save my friends, if you the stand in my way I'll put you on a bigger leash! 

Cerberus: You insult me, stinking human?! You'll regret this worm! The eternal ice will consume your soul! (roars) 

*with Gray, Gajeel, Happy, and Carla*

Gray and Gajeel stood up, along with Happy and Carla.

Carla: Is everyone alright?

Happy: I'm fine, you Carla?

Carla: I'll live.

Gajeel: Just where did we end up?

They looked at the large chamber that they were in. It was lined with stained glass across the walls, and at the end of the wall was a large organ.

Carla: This particular room must have been where the worshipers had their 'mass' or something of that nature.

Gray: We can worry about that later, right now, our first priority is getting out of here.

Gajeel however took a few whiffs of the air, and didn't like what he smelled.

Gajeel: Guys, we got company.

As soon as he said that, a large creature smashed through the wall, and some of the windows, and landed in front of the group.

They were surprised at the sight of what appeared to be a large spider-like creature made out of stone and lava.

Carla: What is this?!

Demon: You are my opponents? I wasn't expecting you to be so small, but I can't expect any less from humans.

Happy: A Spider?!

Gray: A giant spider made of lava?

Gajeel: And just who are you, bug?

Phantom: I am the dreaded Phantom! One of the servants of the mighty Mundus, though currently in the thrall of the fool known as Vali! I have been tasked with eliminating you puny wizards! That is what I will do!

Phantom roared, but the Ice-Make Wizard and Iron Dragon Slayer were unphased, and actually gave eager smiles.

Gajeel: (cracked his knuckles) Well what do you know? Looks like we got our warm up coming to us.

Gray puts a fist to his palm, with icy winds coming from it.

Gray: Maybe we're just that good.

Carla: (sweet drops) What? Those two knuckleheads want to fight that demon?

Happy: Aye! That's Gajeel and Gray for ya!

*with Natsu and Laxus*

Natsu and Laxus were thrown in the air and landed on the ground.

Natsu: (quickly got up) Hey! What's the big idea?!

They looked around and actually found themselves on the roof of the castle. The entire castle was seen as an arrow pointed to their location.

Natsu: How the hell did we get up here?! 

Laxus: Looks like Vali must've separated us from the others.

Natsu: Doesn't matter, we gotta get back inside pronto.

However, before they could, they caught a strange scent. The two Dragon Slayers then looked towards the night sky as several dark grey clouds formed, with red lightning coming from them.

Laxus: (scowled) Something's coming this way.

Coming out of the clouds was a massive bird-like demon, surrounded by red lighting. The demon hovered for a few minutes before setting down near the Salamander and the Lightning Dragon Slayer.

Demon: You?! You are my opponents?! I was expecting more.

Natsu: And just who are you pal?

Griffon: I am the terror of the skies! I am Griffon! I am one of the greatest of all of Mundus's generals!

Laxus: 'Mundus'?

Griffon: At the moment however, I am currently in the service of the filthy vermin Vali. However, he has promised me my freedom if I kill you; which is what I now intend to do!

Griffon gave a loud screech.

Natsu: I hate to break it to you, you overgrown turkey, but we don't got time to play with you right now! (surrounded with his fire) So we're gonna kick your ass pronto so we can rescue my friends!

Laxus: (surge with lightning) He's right. If you stand in our way, we're pulverize you to the ground! 

Griffon: (red electric aura grew brighter) Talk is cheap, Dragon Slayers!

*with Drake*

Drake grunted as he stood up. He looked around and found himself in a large cave.

Drake: (grunts) Great, just freaking great! (began to walk out) I hate it when things turn out like this.

However, before he was able to leave; he heard something odd. He turned around and found a hole had formed in the ground. 

Out of the hole, slowly crawled a dark green liquid, trailing with it several pieces of stone and metal. Once the liquid was fully emerged, it began to condense in on itself and build up with the metal and stone. It then began to take an odd, blobbish shape.

Drake sighed as he could guess that if he was to get out, he'd have to kill this thing first.

Drake: Sorry buddy, but we gotta make this quick. (pulls out Ebony and Ivory) I got business to take care of.

*with Lucy and Juvia* 

Lucy and Juvia were still tied up in tentacles as they we're being carried through some kind of horizontal shoot. They both struggled to get loose, but it seemed all their struggles were useless.

A door opened and the tentacles threw the two girls out, and they landed hard on the floor. They both quickly picked themselves up.

Lucy: Juvia, you okay?

Juvia: Yes, I'm fine. Where are we?

They looked around and found themselves outside the castle, on a large castle balcony.

Lucy: You think the others are okay?

Juvia: I believe so. It would seem our opponent has made his move.

Lucy: What do you mean?

Juvia: Divide and Conquer. By separating us, it makes it easier for the enemy to pick us off one-by-one.

???: Right you are. I expect no less from one of Phantom Lord's Element Four.

Both looked surprised when they heard that particular voice. They slowly turned around and looked upward to a smaller balcony just above them, sitting on the edge, looking down on the two was none other than who they were looking for.

Vali: Meaning, that dealing with you two, will be simpler than taking all of you on at once.
