Mickey whirls his head around, scanning for his foes. Luxord and Larxene teleport in on either side of him.

They both smirk, tossing their knives and cards at him, but he leaps into the air. Marluxia jumps up behind the king, raising his scythe.

With a swift slice forward, Marluxia's petals flurrying in the air, Mickey somersaults backwards, landing safely on the ground. He faces Xemnas and the other three appear between them.

Sora: Your majesty!

Mickey turns to see Sora, Cana, and the Strauss Siblings running toward him

Mickey: Sora! Cana! Mira! Elfman! Lisanna!

Elfman: Hope we're not too late!

Seeing their arrival, Xemnas rises into the air, conjuring energy in his fists. He slams them together and with a flash of light, surrounds himself in black thorns that snake out around the field, encircling the group.

Sora: Look out!

Sora, Cana, and Strauss Siblings got into their fighting stances. Larxene leaps towards them with a vicious cackle, sending bolts of bright lightning crackling into the ground.

Sora puts a barrier in response up to block the attacks as Mirajane changes into her Satan Soul and gathers energy in her right hand. She charges at Marluxia who blocks it with his scythe, but got pushed back as Luxord throws his cards at his enemies.

Sora: What the-

Cana threw her cards at Luxord's as Elfman changes into his Beast Soul and gave a thrust with his fist at him which he blocked with two huge cards.

Lisanna turns to her Animal Soul Cat and pounces at them, delivering fast and quick attacks. Larxene got some scratches which annoyed her as she unleashed a lighting beam at Lisanna.

Lisanna dodges the attack as Sora jumps and delivers multiple slashes at a fast pace, but the three Organization members jumped back away from them.

At a standoff, Xemnas smiles down at them, holding out his hand. He releases a gray wind with black and white thorns in Luxord's direction. Luxord gasped as he felt a surge of power within him.

Mirajane: Huh?

Lisanna: What's happening?!

Xemnas retracts his thorns from the battlefield. He smirks before he disappears in a dark corridor.

Sora: Xemnas!

Elfman: He's running away?!

Luxord walks up to the group with a cackle. He holds up a card, revealing four more cards with a flourish, which give off a red hue.

Luxord: Exactly what I needed.

He scatters his cards in all directions. Surrounding the battlefield, the cards grow to human-size. Sora, Mickey, Cana, and the Strauss Siblings gasps in pure shock. Luxord looks at Cana the Gambler of Fate sneakily pulls another card between two fingers.

Mickey: (gasp) Cana, look out!

Luxord tosses the card and Mickey jumps in front of Cana, knocking the card back. Its face is marked with an X. 

Luxord smiles as the card freezes in midair, engaging a gravity trap which pulls Mickey inside. Mickey appears on the face of the card surrounded by pink and black thorns. The card flies back to Luxord, who catches it.

Sora: No! 

Cana: Mickey! 

Elfman: You wheezel! 

Luxord motions with his hand and the jumbo cards spin clockwise around the field.

Luxord: Cana, was it? How about you and I play one final game. 

Cana: What game?!

Luxord: The rules are simple. All you have to do to win (taps his chest) is find me among these cards and strike me down. (snaps his fingers)

With a flash, he disappears before everyone's eyes. They looks to the cards that have stopped spinning around them.

Cana: Where did he go?!

Marluxia aims his scythe at the group and he and Larxene give a small laugh, readying their weapons.

Sora: We'll handle them, Cana! Save King Mickey!

Cana: Are you sure?!

Mirajane: Don't worry about us!

Lisanna: Just beat that guy in his own game!

Cana: (nods) Okay. Good luck!!

Sora, Mirajane, Elfman, and Lisanna face Marluxia and Larxene while Cana starts finding Luxord among the cards. Cana looks intense at the cards, trying to figure out Luxord's game plan. 

Luxord: Live dangerously, Cana.

Cana: Always the card master, Luxord.

Luxord: Of course I am, my lady.

Cana: Please don't call me that jerk!

Cana throws one of her cards and strikes one of the large cards, but it disintegrates into smoke.

Cana: Damm it! At least that wasn't Mickey.

Cana then throws her cards at the one on her right, but it disintegrates into smoke as well.

Luxord: Too bad!

Suddenly, cards appears underneath Cana before they start dealing damage to her.

Cana: Ahhhh!!

Luxord: Where'd I go?

Cana close her eyes and concentrates deeply on the last two cards, feeling for Luxord's dark power.

Luxord: Over here!

Cana hits the card on her left, revealing the gambler.

Luxord: Impressive!

Cana: No more games! Where's Mickey?!

Luxord: The game is not over. If you want him, you'll have to defeat me.

Luxord conjure an orb of dark energy around him to unleash energy tendrils that reach everywhere, also having a variation where he surrounds himself with an orb of energy before suddenly conjuring his cards around enemies to attack Cana from all directions.

Cana: Card Magic: Prayer's Fountain!

The spell sends powerful streams of water out, repelling Luxord's attack. Luxord then unleashes cards with a Thunder symbol at Cana, but she takes out three cards.

Cana: Card Magic: Jolt of Fate! Explosive Flame! Winds Edge!

Cana throws her cards of lighting, fire, and wind that not only to destroy the thunder cards, but also deal damage to Luxord.

Luxord: It's more fun when you beat the odds.

The cards swirl around the battlefield before settling into position again.

Cana: Now what?

Luxord: Now, let the game begin.

Luxord starts summoning a vortex of cards around the arena where Cana is at before he disappears.

Cana: Oh great!

Luxord: Now how will you find me?

Cana: You know, in the time I've known you I've learned something.

Luxord: Oh really? And what's that?

Cana: You're very smug and arrogant, believing that your a superior card player, and very cocky.

Luxord: Well, that was rude.

Cana: Is it? And you seem to have no problem gambling with other innocent lives. For a time in the past I thought you would be honorable.

Luxord: I am honorable, my dear, in my game that is.

Cana: Then why do take Mickey to make me play?

Luxord: The Organization what's to destroy the Guardians. Plus, we're going to balance light and darkness? Wouldn't you Fairy Tail wizards would do the same?

Cana: Balance light and darkness?! You want darkness to overtake the light!

Luxord: What's the difference?

Cana: If you truly care about the balance you would know that both light and darkness are needed. You and the Organization want one side to overtake the other! Bringing forth the apocalypse!

Luxord: I've heard enough excuses from you. Begone! 

The cards then move towards Cana to attack her.

Cana: Assemble oh, river of light, guided by fairies!

Luxord notice Cana's right-arm had a red marking on it. There was the Fairy Tail emblem, surrounded by an arrow of sorts with wings on the sides.

Luxord: (surprised) Wait, what is that emblem?

Cana raised her arm as the emblem was already shining brightly like a golden sun.

Cana: May your radiance shine and vanquish the fangs of wickedness!

As she chanted, her body was engulfed in a bright surge of golden magic power, forcing Luxord to shield his eyes.

Luxord: What's this light?! And her power is increasing! Who the hell is this girl?!

A large golden halo formed over Cana as she aimed her fist at Luxord.

Cana: Adios, you bastard! Fairy Glitter!

Luxord's body was completely enveloped by that same halo, he began to yell in pain as he felt the light shining through him. Cana increases her power as the gold light shined throughout Luxord, causing him to scream even more before the vortex of cards and himself exploded in the golden light.

Cana kneels in exhaustion from the powerful spell she casted. The darkness twisting off of him like the threads of fate. Luxord stumbles backwards, his cards falling to the ground. He catches himself at his knees. 

Luxord: You were born for these sorts of games. 

He smiles and draws a final card, tossing it to Cana. She catches it and looks puzzled. Cana turns the card around and sees its Mickey on it. 

Cana: Mickey! (looks at Luxord) But, what's this?

Luxord: A wild card. You've earned it. Hang on to it. (starts fading) Could turn the tables.

Cana looks and smiles at him.

Cana: (smiles) Maybe we can play another time. Without fighting.

Luxord: (chuckles) I should like that very much, Cana.

Luxord vanishes, as the card Cana was holding glows pink. It shines brighter as Mickey leaps out of it.

Mickey: Thanks.

Cana: (smiles) Of course Mickey. Are you okay?

Mickey: It was very crowed, but I'm okay thanks to you.

Cana: Great now we can-

Mickey: Cana, you should rest first. You looked exhausted after using that attack.

Cana: No I can-

Mickey: Trust me. Besides, I'm sure Sora and the others can handle this. 

Cana: Ahh. Fine.

Meanwhile, Elfman and Lisanna were dealing with Larxene. Lisanna was in her cat form attacking Larxene with ferocity. 

Larxene: You worm!

Larxene unleashes unblockable lightning spires at Lisanna.

Elfman: Oh no you don't!

Elfman went in front of Lisanna, as he changed into his Lizardman mode and blocked the spires.

Larxene: What?!

Elfman: If you think I'm letting you hurt Lisanna you got another thing coming!

Larxene: I will break you!

Larxene slashes at Elfman with the long knives between her fingers.

Elfman: (changes back) Beast Arm: Black Bull!

Elfman's right arm transformed into a large black arm.

Elfman: (grins) Try and break this! (went to punch her) 

Larxene: (smirks, dodges) Oh, I will.

Suddenly, Larxene splits herself into multiple copies.

Elfman: (surprised) She can make copies of herself?

The copies of Larxene start attacking Elfman with their knives coating in lighting. The Larxene copies throw their knives at Elfman. But Elfman defects the knives easily and charges at the copies.

Larxene unleashes a wall of ball lightning at Elfman. Elfman swipes it away, jumps in the air and smashes the ground hard. The multi copies disappears.

Larxene: That's it! It's time for you to go!

She backflips away from him and tosses her knives in an arc, leaving sparks lingering on the ground. But Elfman smacked Larxene while Lisanna gave her a kick on her head. 

Larxene: You guys are so annoying! 

Larxene starts turning into a bolt of lightning that zips around the battlefield.

Sora: Look out!

Sora jumps in and projects a shield to protect them. But she is too fast, emerging only to strike at him with her electric claws.

Sora: Ahhh!

Sora goes to the ground hard.

Larxene: You're mine!

Larxene leaps high into the air, slamming down at the ground, sending bolts of lightning skyward around the arena.

Mirajane: I don't think so!

Mirajane charges at Larxene, but Marluxia appears behind her and knocks her back with his scythe.

Marluxia: Larxene, stop playing!

Larxene: Yeah, yeah. I'll finish this quick.

Larxene unleashes her multiple copies as she unleashes her lighting beams at the group.

Lisanna: Oh no!

Mickey: Get down!

Everyone avoided the lighting beams.

Elfman: That's it! Lisanna, let's finish her together!

Lisanna: Yeah! 

Elfman rushes in and delivers a hard right hook to her face. 

Lisanna: Animal Soul: Penguin!

Larxene saw Lisanna turned into a giant penguin.

Larxene: What will that do-

Larxene was cut off when Lisanna gave her kick on her body, which send her flying into a wall.

Elfman: (lunged) Beast Arm: Iron Bull!

Elfman's right arm transformed into a large iron fist, which he used to punch Larxene hard in the face. 

Larxene: Piss off! 

Larxene reappears and then unleashes two lightning orbs beside her and then starts spinning around the area while spinning the lightning orbs at Elfman and Lisanna while unleashing lightning, causing the siblings to yell in pain.

Larxene: (smirk) Wow, you guys are so weak! I don't why the Guardians need help from you guys anyway. 

Elfman: Shut up! Don't you dare underestimate Fairy Tail! 

Lisanna: Yeah, we've faced a lot of powerful enemies like! And we've always come out on top! 

Suddenly, Lisanna and Elfman began transforming as Larxene's eyes were widen in surprise. Elfman transforms his body into that of a humanoid lion with horns. 

Lisanna takes the form of a mythical creature, the nine-tailed fox. In this form, she is mostly humanoid, sporting fox ears, fur on her forearms, fox-like claws on her hands, and grown nine tails with each of them resemble that of a fox tail while retaining her human face, hair and legs.

Larxene: What the hell?! Did they changed into new forms?!

Elfman swing his fist at Larxene who blocked, but she was pushed back its strength. 

Elfman: Now Lisanna! 

Lisanna: Fox Impact!

Lisanna strikes the ground with her nine-tails creating an impact strong enough to defeat Larxene. The darkness climbs high above and away, fading into the sky from the solid figure that is Larxene. She breathes heavy through gritted teeth, looking down at herself.

Larxene: Are you kidding? (falls to her knees)

Elfman: Finally, you're done.

Lisanna: Look on the bright side, you're gonna be recompleted.

Larxene: I didn't ask you for your garbage opinion. I lost! To a bunch of losers like you!

Elfman: Losers? Says the one who got her ass kicked.

Larxene: (glares) You wizards are so annoying! But...could be worse. (looks at the sky and starts to fade) Become that geezer's heart tank? No thanks.

Lisanna: What?

Elfman: Then why would you help him?

Larxene: I was really just along for the ride.

Lisanna: I'm sorry. You may be an enemy, but you don't deserve that.

Larxene: What? Are you giving me pity?

Elfman: Is it wrong not too? Cause despite what you've done, you were just being used to further someone's self gain.

Larxene: ...

Lisanna: My brother is right. You don't deserve that at all.

Larxene: You guys are really strange, you know that?

Lisanna: (smiles) And you aren't?

Elfman: Who were you riding with?

Larxene: (small smile and puts a finger to her lips) My secret.

The last vestiges of darkness wipe her away as she fades.

Mickey: Nice work you two.

Lisanna: Thanks.

Elfman: Just one more left.

Meanwhile, Mirajane in her Satan Soul form was fighting Marluxia.

Mirajane: It looks like you're all that's left here.

Marluxia: Doesn't matter, I'll scatter to the winds!

Marluxia teleports near Mirajane and does a swing with his scythe. Mirajane blocked it with her fist coat with dark energy. 

Marluxia coat himself with a blue aura as his armor as he teleports behind Mirajane. Mirajane jumps out of the way as Marluxia then starts summoning rose petals at Mirajane.

Mirajane: Demon Blast!

She shot a dark purple beam which obliterated the petals and head towards Marluxia who blocked it with his scythe, but he was pushed back.

Mirajane appeared in front of Marluxia as she gave a fierce kick to the head, knocking him back quite the distance and breaking his aura armor.

Marluxia: What?!

Mirajane: You're not the only one who has surprises!

Marluxia: I see. Then will you survive this?

Marluxia teleports behind Mirajane, but instead of attack, he just whispers in Mirajane's ear which causes a countdown timer to appear above her head.

Mirajane: Huh? What's this?

Marluxia: This one of my abilities. If the countdown reaches zero, you'll not only lose the battle, but also lose your life. And with each hit from me, the numbers on the timer will be deplete by one.

Mirajane: What?!

Marluxia: You could say that I'm a grim reaper, one that manipulates life and death.

Mirajane: Or one who's nothing but a coward and takes a shortcut to win.

Marluxia: This is war, one must remain victorious. Even in a life and death situation.

Mirajane: Really? So you would throw your life away just to show you're powerful?

Marluxia: What are you getting out?

Mirajane: You see if you take me out like this your "Organization" will question if you really have what it takes to win an actual fight

Marluxia: Of course I do. I was one of the most powerful members of the previous Organization.

Mirajane: Previous? What about now?

Marluxia: Talking is over. Now, I'll take your life.

Marluxia motions with his hands and pulses with dark energy. Using his scythe, he spins like a wheel through the battlefield, glowing pink and black.

Mirajane's mind: Such a waist. Might as well show him who I was before this

Mirajane dodging the attacks while keeping an eye on the timer which was slowly at 90.

Marluxia: It's time to finish this!

Marluxia strikes the center of the field, enveloping the ground in a pool of darkness. Petals emerge and launch Mirajane into the air.

Just as Marluxia was going to deal the final blow. However, Mirajane starts glowing and transformed into something more powerful than her Satan Soul, Halphas.

Marluxia: What the- What is this? She has another transformation?!

Marluxia unleashes his rose petals, only for Mirajane to simply wave her hand, creating an invisible force that completely deflected them.

Marluxia: She deflected them?

Mirajane glares at Marluxa with the devil in her eyes. Marluxia was starting to feel an emotion he hadn't felt, fear. She waved her hand to create a dark magic shockwave that blew Marluxia back.

Immediately, he flew directly toward Mirajane and swing his scythe directly at her, which Mirajane caught with no effort at all.

Marluxia: What?!

Mirajane then delivered a kick to Marluxia's stomach, causing him to cough blood.

Marluxia: Impossible, where did you get this much power?

Mirajane: There's a lot you don't know about me.

Marluxia grits his teeth in anger.

Marluxia: Damn you!

Marluxia starts unleashing pools of Flower-based darkness, and utilizing Doom in a combined fashion.

Marluxia: DIE!!!

Mirajane dodges and prepares for the final blow.

Mirajane: Halphas Blast!

She opened a single palm to fire a massive blast of dark blue and purple energy that completely engulfed Marluxia who yelled in pain as a powerful explosion created a massive crater in the ground.

The scythe clatters to the ground with a great ring before fading into petals on the wind as the last traces of Xehanort's influence leave Marluxia.

He grunts, falling to his knees, his pink hair strewn about his face. He looks down at his hands, small traces of darkness fading from his gloved fingers.

Marluxia: Oh... So, now it all comes back to me. (laughs)

Mirajane looked confused which made her land on the ground and turned back to her human form. It wasn't an evil laugh or a sarcastic laugh. It was a normal, one filled of happiness.

Mirajane: What? Is that a happy laugh?

Marluxia: (nodded) I'm starting to feel happiness in my heart now.

Mirajane: Haven't you always have a heart?

Marluxia: No, I was a Nobody before I became Xehanort's vessel. I didn't have a heart, so I wouldn't feel anything. But now, I'm starting to feel emotions again.

Mirajane: Does it feel good?

Marluxia: (smiles) Yes... My heart is remembering how to feel.

Mirajane smiles in appreciation and happiness for him.

Mirajane: (smiles) I'm glad you can now. That must be good for you.

Marluxia: And now, I am on the cusp of reclaiming my identity... My purpose for being... Thanks to you, Mirajane.

Marluxia then fades away as Mirajane sighs in relief and happiness for Marluxia.

Sora: (walks towards her) Mira, are you alright?

Mirajane: Yeah, I'm okay.

Elfman: (falls on his back) Damn, a real man needs to rest.

Lisanna: (sat down) Yeah, I'm feeling pretty drained.

Mirajane: (sat down as well) I guess we all do, don't we?

Cana: Sora, Mickey, you can go on without us.

Sora: You sure?

Elfman: There are others that need you more than us, we did our part.

Lisanna: Don't worry, we'll be right behind you.

Sora: (smiles) Alright, we'll see you guys later.

Mickey: (to Sora) Sora, I'll go after Xemnas, while you go find the others.

Sora: (nods) Okay. 

Mickey and Sora than split up, leaving the group to recover.
