The ball started out shit. He'd watched the slaves move around awkwardly trying to act like they were having fun. So much for "we let our slaves have fun at balls" when his father literally told them to have fun or no food for a week.

Though it was weird Jeongguk liked it like that. Just him and the workers. No flaunting men and women. No people bragging about how they had the new jewelry.

But the peaceful ball was soon crowded.

"Jeongguk"!

He was sure his frown was frowning when he saw the devil himself.

"Hi Irene.."

"I can't wait for the engagement! Daddy said we can get married right when we both turn 18"!

Nodding Jeongguk looked in the opposite direction. Which lord and behold jimin looking bomb af talking to  his friends. He knew the forks wouldn't stop them. Namjoon and Hoseok were still not getting the idea that Jimin is his.

Anyways when jackass 1 rolls up Jeongguk ran to get jimin.

"Put this on"!

Shoving the mask to Jimin's face he reluctantly put it on.

"Are you okay.."?

Nodding he grabbed jimin.

"Stay close".

Literally half of the night consisted of Jeongguk dragging jimin away from Yoongi. Because that man whore will not taint park jimin. That's Jeongguk job.

But God loves him. Because bam he watched jimin fall to the floor while Yoongi helped him up. The mask on the floor. And oh god it's what he was scared of. Min yoongi looking into Jimin's eyes. Because those eyes put you in a trance.

"O-oh I didn't see you..um there. I'm sorry"!

Looking at jimin he saw that the boy was literally crying for help. The younger boy mouthed "don't talk just nod and walk away". Nodding jimin walked away from Yoongi just like Jeongguk told him too.

"U-um! Can I get your name"?

He's never heard Yoongi stutter. And it was because of something he can't get.

Walking in front of jimin so Yoongi could not run after jimin he glared at Yoongi.

"Im sorry but he is deaf. If you have anything farther to say to him please use sign language".

Smirking Jeongguk walked away leaving a flustered Yoongi.

Laying in bed Jeongguk held jimin tightly.

"I guess today wasn't bad".

"I mean other then the awkward dancing".

"I had fun. I told Yoongi that you were death by the way"!

"Jeongguk how could you"!

Throwing the pillow at one another the couple shared a goodnight kiss. While other was thinking about the orange hair mop.
