GEORGES POV

I woke up to the soft turning of pages. I slowly sat up, squinting my eyes as the room was filled with the afternoon sun. I felt my brown hair tangled and messy on my head, my eyes feeling crusty with sleep. I noticed Samuel reading next to me, paying rapt attention to the book and flipping through the pages at rapid speed. I smiled at his glasses that were worn upon his nose making him look adorable. "Good morning. Or should I say, afternoon"? I chuckled sleepily. Samuel looked up from his book smiling "Apologies, did I wake you"? I shook my head and stumbled out of the bed stretching. "No, I usually sleep 'till noon. Its common". I walked to my closet and picked out a plain and baggy shirt. 'Keep the conversation going, don't let it slip!'. "So" I slipped my shirt over my head "What is it your reading"? I heard him blow a puff of air "Just some, uh. Just some Shakespeare". I turned around, my face bright with surprise and a tinge of red. "Really? No offense to you, I enjoy Shakespeare and haven't really found anyone who shares my interest". I walked over to him and sat next to him. I smiled "This one is my favorite". When he didn't answer I looked at him. He was staring at my shirtless form and snapped his head up "W-What"? I stood up and slipped a shirt on, my face warm "I said that is one of my favorite poems, Sonnet 16". Samuel looked dissapointed  but nodded "Yes, I enjoy it as well....Could I read you one of my favorites"? Samuel nawed at his lip awaiting my answer. I smiled 'This is good! Progress!' I nodded "Yes, thank you". Samuel eagerly flipped thtough his pages till he found one he liked. He took a deep breathe.
"Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no; it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests, and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
   If this be error and upon me proved,
   I never writ, nor no man ever loved...".

I gaped at him, the words flowing out of his mouth beautifuly, every word making my heart beat faster. "Beautiful". I murmmerd staring at his unparalleled features. Samuel looked up sheepishly "Thank you, it is quite beautiful. Its my favorite". He set the book aside and removed his glasses. Samuel scooted closer on the edge of his bed, the scene making me smile. 'We look like school girls sharing secrets' I laughed in my head. "So my position in the royal advisary, what exactly is my job? What do I do"? Samuel asked failing to hide the giddyness in his voice. I half-shrug "You really just give me advice when I need it. But trust me, it isnt as dull as it sounds! I need extremely bright people for this, like yourself. However you may become my favorite seeing as you arent a prick like the other snobs". Samuel blinked and then we both burst into laughter. "W-Well atleast im not a prick". He laughed. I simmered to a giggle "I promise my accusations are not false. They have enormous heads on them. I feared you may be too fragile". Samuel showed a face of mock offense turned his chin upwards "Im not fragile I promise you"! I laughed and made a mock bow. "Oh my apologiese mighty Samuel"! He rolled his eyes "Your apologie is...DENIED! DEATH"! I fake gasped. "You can not kill the King-"! My rant was cut off by a pillow being thrown to my face. I growled with a mad smirk and threw it right back at him. Samuel gasped "You are such a child for the King of England"! He gripped the pillow and smacked me. "I am not the one who started this war"! I smacked him back. Soon feathers fell around the room, making a strange sort of feathery snow. "Sir we-" the deep voice from the doorway stopped abruptly. We both snapped our heads to the dorrway to see the ship captin trying not to burst out laughing. I straightened and regained my kingly facade. "What is it you wish to speak with me"? I blew a feather away from my face. His smile widened as he dipped into a bow "We are at England your highness". I nodded and seatted my hand "Good now leave". He backed away and shut the door. I turned to see Samuel giddy but nervouse. I placed a hand on his shoulder "Are you ready"? He smiled and straightened his back, his smile infectouse. "Yes. Lets go".
