The Quinjet was nearing its destination and slowly reducing its speed and came to a stop, hovering over its destination. Inside the jet were Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean, Psylocke, Angel, Morph, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Polaris. The team was currently sitting down while Cyclops stood in the middle of everyone, and storm flying the jet.

Cyclops: Alright, team, this is an infiltration mission. There are mutants being held in this facility, and we need to locate them before we go in for a rescue. Nightcrawler, go inside with Morp and Wolverine, locate the Mutants and an exit. If you're spotted, we'll head in and clear out as many as we can. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

*THUD* *THUD* *THUD*

The X-men paused as the thuds got louder and louder. Cyclops readies his visor, same as Havoc, both ready to destroy the jet in order to take down the enemy. The thuds were making their way towards the front of the quinjet, where Storm was piloting. Cyclops' visor starts glowing brighter as he readies to blast the windshield of the Quinjet.

Jean: WAIT!!!!

Jean jumped in front of Cyclops, making him close his visor before he fired. Just then, two figures appeared outside the windshield.

Storm: LUFFY?!?!

Jean: ANNA!?!?!?

Outside the jet was the self-proclaimed king of the mutants, and in his arms was Anna, who was gripping onto Luffy for dear life.

Cyclops: This kid again!!!!

Luffy waved at the X-men, standing dangerously close to the tip of the jet.

Jean: Luffy, stay put! You're over a Hydra military base holding Mutants!

Luffy looks down and sees a large facility, only being visible in the dark by the lights inside the facility. He looks back at Jean and gives her a mischievous smile. Both Jean and Anna, who is still holding onto Luffy for dear life, grew worried by the smile.

Jean: KURT GRAB THEM!!!

Nightcrawler bamfs onto the windshield and attempt to grab Anna and Luffy but was too slow for the future king. Luffy jumped backwards, narrowly avoiding the grasp of Nightcrawler and began his descent on the base.

Kurt: ANNA!!!!!

Anna: LUFFYYYYYYyyyy-

Cyclops: Angel! Storm! Go after them! I'll land the quinjet.

Cyclops grabbed the controls from Storm and opens a hatch in the middle of the quinjet. Both Angel and Storm jump off the jet and try and catch up to Luffy, who is halfway down to the facility. Luffy turns himself so where his feet are aiming at the ground instead of his head. With the ground getting closer and closer, Anna started screaming for dear life and gripped onto Luffy tighter. Eventually, the two make it to the ground and land in the middle of the facility with a large dust cloud surrounding the two.

Before the dust can even settle, Hydra soldiers surround the dust cloud and take aim at it, waiting to see who caused the destruction. As the dust settles down, one figure is made out, then from the dust, something came out swiping at the Hydra soldiers.

Luffy: Gum Gum Whip!!!

The dust cleared out, revealing Luffy and Anna, still clinging onto Luffy. Sirens went off and the hanger door started closing. Luffy, not being that smart, was smart enough to understand that there was something I'm in there they were trying to protect.

Luffy: Second Gear!!!

Immediately, his skin turned pink, and steam started coming out of his body. Anna felt the warmth from his body. She found herself liking it. It felt like she was making direct skin contact again. Much to her dismay, his rapid speed caught her completely off guard. In mere moments, Luffy had cleared 10 meters. Whatever he did, it made him incredibly fast.

As the hanger doors finally close, they could hear Storm using her mutant abilities to take down all the Hydra agents. And Angel was picking up some agents and throwing them at each other, nit as helpful, but it's the thought that counts. Back inside the hanger, Luffy and Anna noticed how unusually empty it was, seeing as there was a whole army outside, but the hanger was empty.

Luffy: Oh, its empty! Nice.

Anna immediately got off Luffy and punched him in the back of the head.

Anna: YOU IDIOT!!!!!!

Luffy: Gah!!!

Anna: You kidnap me! You take me to a warzone! You jump off a plane with me! You almost got me killed! YOU ALMOST GOT ME KILLED!!!

Luffy: But you're not dead! I'm sure your power would've kept you safe.

Anna: You don't even know what my ability is!!!!!

Luffy: Oh..... what is your power?

Anna rubs her face with her hands and groans.

Anna: I can absorb the life out of people and gain their abilities by making direct skin contact.

Luffy: Wow, that's cool! Like this?

Luffy grabs Anna's face and immediately feels weak and his ability being drained. Anna, in response, smacked his hand away from her.

Anna: NO, YOU IDIOT!!!!

Although it was only for a brief moment, Anna could feel a great sense of joy from her current situation. She couldn't help but laugh, holding her gut as she did so.

Anna: Hahahaha, why am I laughing?!?!

Luffy: I don't know, but I'm having fun! Shishishi. Come on, let's go find some Mutants.

Anna: Hahaha, okay.

Searching around the hanger for a moment, Luffy found a button hidden, not really, behind some boxes. Immediately, he pressed the button, and a hidden door started opening. Luffy and Anna both look into what looked like an elevator shaft but no elevator. Smiling, Luffy picked up Anna and jumped down the hole.

Storm: Any eyes on Luffy and Anna?

Angel: I don't see them!

Storm: Jean, can you detect them anywhere?

Jean: They're going down! Very, very far down!

Cyclops: We'll catch up with them later. Right now, we have to focus on these guys.

Kurt: Are we really going to leave them alone? At least one of us should go after them!

Logan: Anna will be fine, Kurt. The kid is strong.

Kurt: I hope you're right, mine friend.

Meanwhile, in the hidden bunker of the Hydra facility, two Hydra soldiers are standing guard by the elevator.

Hydra soldier: So what did you pack for lunch?

Bob: A peanut butter jelly sandwich and an apple.

Hydra soldier: That's it?!

Bob: Yeah, it's really good.

Hydra soldier: You have one lunch break, and you bring a pre schoolers dream lunch? Is that even enough to get you through the day?!

Bob: It gets me through the day.

Hydra soldier: Jesus, man.

Bob: What's wrong with a PB&J sandwich? It's good.

Hydra soldier: It's a waste of ingredients if you ask me.

Bob: Alright, Gordon Ramsey, what did you bring for lunch!?

Hydra soldier: Check it out.

Setting his gun aside, the Hydra soldier reaches for a plastic bag containing his lunch, opens it up, and shows Bob.

Hydra soldier: Feas your taste buds! An entire T-bone stake, mash potato's, and a dab of A1 sauce. Look how jucy it is.

Gently, he poked the steak with his fork and a fair amount of juice cane out of the stake.

Hydra soldier: Can't wait to eat this.

BOOM

The elevator doors were kicked down, and both the Hydra soldiers were pinned under them. His lunch, on the other hand, was surprisingly fine. It landed perfectly fine and slid down the hall. Sadly, its safety didn't last long as an arm stretched out from the elevator shaft and grabbed the lunch.

Luffy: No wonder it smells good down here.

Setting Anna down, Luffy proceeds to stuff the entire stake down his gullet.

Anna: Luffy!!! STOP JUMPING OFF THINGS WHILE HOLDING ME HOSTAGE!!!!

Luffy: But then how else will you go down with me?

Anna: I WOULDN'T!!!!

Luffy: Well, that's no fun.

Their bickering was cut short due to an alarm blaring throughout the facility. Soon enough, the entire hallway was filled with Hydra soldiers, their guns pointing directly at them.

Hydra soldier: OPEN FIRE!!!!

Immediately, Luffy spread his arms, making himself a bigger target. Anna, on the other hand, closes her eyes tightly and covers her face. Much to her surprise, she was still alive. She slowly opened her eyes after the firing stopped and looked over at Luffy. Her eyes widen as she notices his skin, stretching a few feet back from the bullets that hit him. Not only that, but she also noticed her skin was also stretching back just as far as his was.

Letting out a small chuckle, Luffy flexed his entire body, causing the bullets in his body to shoot back the way they came. Anna, not knowing how his abilities worked, let the bullets come out naturally and let them come back out, shooting the as well but nowhere near the same velocity as Luffy.

The bullets shot back from the both of them cleared the hallway that was once filled with soldiers. Now, it was just filled with bodies. Anna looked at the scene, clearly shocked by the display of his abilities.

Luffy: That was fun! Let's go!

Now, with the hallway goons taken care of, Luffy started running down the hallway with no idea of where the mutants were being held.

Anna: Luffy, wait!!!

Quickly, she ran after Luffy. While running, they would occasionally run into some Hydra soldiers, but Luffy would take them down almost immediately. They would shoot at the duo, but the bullets would bounce off them, literally, and usually end up hurting the person who initially fired at them.

Soon enough, they came up to a large metal door. Due to the alarms, Anna assumed that this was a security measure. Whatever was behind this door, it was something important. Sadly, it seems like they would have to turn around and find another way around or turn off-

Luffy: Gum-Gum Giant Pistol!!!!

Luffy suddenly enlarged his entire fist and bust the metal door down. Anna looked at the damage in complete shock.

Anna: Wasn't his powers just rubber related?

Luffy: Let's keep going!

Anna: WAIT, A MINUTE!!! WHAT WAS THAT?!?!

Luffy: What was what?

Anna: Your fist got huge!!!! That's not how rubber works at all!!!

Luffy: Oh that! That's my Gum-Gum Giant pistol. I inflate my bones to make my fist huge, and it hits harder!

Anna: That still doesn't explain how that works. The way you use your abilities doesn't make sense. If your bones are filled with air, it doesn't make it harder!!!

Luffy: That's why I yell out my attack! If you name your attack, it makes you stronger.

Anna: That- It's- wha‐Huh?!?!?

Luffy: Yup, all my attacks have names, I yell them when I wanna hit someone really hard. Oh, since you have my powers, you should try out my Gum-Gum Bazooka! You just stretch your arms back and shoot th back forward into the guy you're fighting.

Anna: I'm not doing that.

Luffy: Well, your punches will always be weak. Shi shi shi.

Now, with the door busted open, Luffy and Anna ran down the hallway. Although their path gets altered when a purple portrait opens in front of Luffy and he runs in. Anna, meanwhile, stops in her tracks as the portal closes and luffy tries jumping back through.

As the portal closes, Anna catches a glimpse of someone standing at the end of the hallway she was running in. There stood a woman in a green suit and puple skin with what looked to be glowing daggers in her hands.

???: Well, he looked annoying. Thank me later.

Anna took a step back while the woman walked forward.

Anna: Who are you?!

???: Blink. Not giving you my real name, but it's what people call me.

Anna: That's a stupid name.

Blink: If you say so. Now you can either come with me quietly and into a cell, or I'll beat you till you're black and blue, then throw you into a cell.

Anna slowly put her hands up in an awkward position, kept her face covered. Blink, seeing this, laughs at her then while twirling her dagger.

Meanwhile, Luffy looked around the room and spotted a man with a skull mas leaning on a wall in the room.

Luffy: Hey you! Skull face, where is Anna!?!?!

Skull: Right to the point, could at least say hello. No matter, I'll end this quick.

Luffy: Hey, I asked you a question!!!

The skull face man took out a sword and shield from his back.

Skull: Show me what you got, kid!

Luffy: Second Gear!!!

Skull: Second Gear?!?!

Luffy: Gum-Gum Jet Pistol!!!

Immediately, the skull guy felt an immense pain coming from his gut as he's launched back into the wall he was leaning on. Due to the pain, the skull guy was knocked out immediately. Meanwhile, Luffy looked at the downed enemy kinda disappointed.

Luffy: Hey. You okay?

Luffy lifted his arm and let go, only for it to fall back down. Just to be sure, he was actually unconscious he would slap him around a bit. Seeing as he wasn't getting up, Luffy smiled and started walking towards a nearby door.

Just as luffy was about to bash the door down, a female scientist opened it and looked completely shocked.

Luffy:....

Woman:....

Luffy: Thanks.

Luffy walked past the woman but was stopped by the woman who grabbed his arm.

Woman: Wait! I need your help?

Luffy looked at the woman, confused but smiled at her nonetheless.

Luffy: Sorry, but I've got mutants to save.

Woman: Wait, please just listen! I need you to take a mutant in the facility.

Luffy: I'm already doing that.

Woman: She's not with the others. She's special, please take her with you.

Luffy: Why, what's so special about her?

Woman: She's a clone and.... she's my daughter.

Luffy: Are her powers cool?

Woman: What?

Luffy: Are her powers cool?

Woman: I guess? She has the same powers as Wolverine, down to the Adamantium skeleton.

Luffy: What's adamantium?

Woman: The strongest metal in the world.

Luffy: Whoa, that's cool!!! Alright, I'll take her. I need cool people in my crew!

Woman: Your crew? You mean the X-men?

Luffy: Nope, I'm not an X-man. I'm Monkey D Luffy, and I'm gonna be King of the Mutants!!!
