The life of a mutant was never an easy one. With the discrimination, racism, and damn near murders being overlooked by the general public. It's enough to send every mutant into hiding.... almost every mutant. Some mutants would rather cause havoc on the people who hate them, others would try their best to save the people that despise them, and one just wants to eat.

Chef: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE NO MONEY!?!?!

Straw Hat: I have no money.

There was currently a boy in an all you can eat buffet who is, quite literally, eating all he can.

Chef: WHOSE GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THIS FOOD THEN?!?!

Straw Hat: I mean, it's all you can eat, isn't it?

Chef: YOU HAVE TO PAY BEFORE YOU EAT!!!!

Straw Hat: That's dumb.

While the man looks like he's about to pop a blood vessel, a sudden crash catches everyone's attention. A man was thrown through the window of the restaurant and crashed into the wall. Then, an even bigger blob of a man came rushing into the restaurant.

Blob: Something smells good.

The blob looks over at the straw hat boy and sees him eating a large amount of meat. Meanwhile, the man who was thrown through the window just started getting back up. Once he saw the blob man heading towards the boy, who was still eating the entire buffet, he immediately jumped into action.

Short man: Run away, you idiot!!!!

The sudden shout caused the boy to turn around with enough time to see the Blob smack him away.... his head, at least. The boys head had stretched far from the smack of the Blob, so far that it had entered several other buildings. Then his head started returning to his body at incredible speeds.

Straw Hat: DON'T TOUCH MY FOOD!!!

The boy headbutted the Blob so hard that he knocked him back outside the building and rendered him unconscious. Seeing as he wasn't getting back up, the boy smiled and continued to feast on his buffet. Meanwhile, the short man stood astounded at the raw strength the boy possesses. Seeing as people were trying to steal his food, the boy grabbed it all and swallowed it whole, making his stomach turn big and round. He then got up and walked out of the restaurant.

Short Man: Kid, wait!!!!

The short man ran out to catch up to the kid, but as soon as he turned the corner, the kid was already gone. Even with his comedically large stomach, the boy had disappeared into the crowd. The short man grunts due to losing sight of the boy, then looks back at the Blob. A giant lump appeared on his forehead, where he got hit. The short man kicked him, earning a groan from the Blob.

Short Man: At least he ain't dead.

The short man then taps the red X on his belt, which doubles as a radio for his earpiece.

Short Man: Charles, I think I found another mutant.

A few days later, that very same boy is seen sleeping under a tree not too far off from a road. His attire consists of sandles, baggy pants, a jacket, and his signature straw hat, which he is currently using as a cover for his face from the sun. While the boy takes his nap, a figure approaches him and covers him from the sun.

Tall man: Get up!

Taking his hat off, he sees the men standing over him. One tall beast looking man and another red devil looking man. The two of them looking down at the boy with a mean face, as the boy would put it.

Straw Hat: Nah, I'm comfortable here.

Tall man: Not a request. Magneto wants a word with you!

Straw Hat: Nah, I'm good.

Tall man: Not a REQUEST!

The tall man grabbed the Straw Hat from the boy and tossed it aside and grabbed him by his jacket. Just before the devil, man could touch the beast man, Straw Hat punched the Tall man so hard that he sent him flying. The boy bends down and grabs his Straw hat from the floor and pits it on.

Straw Hat: Hehe. Nope.

BAMF

The devil man dissappears and reappears behind Straw hat, but he is fast to react and jumps further away from him.

He bamfs all over the place but can't touch Straw hat, almost like he knew where he would appear before he appeared. Time and time again, he would try and touch him, but he never could get close enough to do so.

Straw Hat: Can't touch me!

All the while, the boy kept taunting the devil man, making it harder and harder to keep concentration. Eventually, the devil Bamfed but appeared behind nothing.

Straw Hat: Behind you!

The devil man turned and was immediately met with a fist to the jaw. While it didn't knock him out, it discombobulated him for a few, enough for him to receive another punch to the gut that would also send him flying.

Lucky the devil man was caught bt the tall beast of man, who was now back in action. With a grunt, the man tossed the devil aside, ready to tear the boy apart.

Tall Man: To hell with what Magneto wants, I'm tearing this little shit to pieces!

The boy smiles and lets out a small chuckle, then spreads his legs out and punches the floor. Immediately, his body turns pinkish, and steam starts emitting from the boys body.

Just before they could get into the action, the clear skies start turning dark and immediately start to rain and thunder. The boy doesn't seem fazed by the sudden weather change and is still ready to fight. Meanwhile, the other two mutants only grow wary.

Tall man: Storm!!!

Devil man: Change of plans, we have to go!

The devil man grabs ahold of his accomplice and Bamf away. Meanwhile, Straw Hat straightens up and looks up at the sky while holding onto his Straw Hat, keeping it from flying away.

From the sky came a dark skin woman depending towards the boy. The woman in question was wearing a black outfit with a cape that connects to her wrist and a crown on her head. The woman lands in front of the boy, and the sky starts to clear up again. The woman looks down at the boy and smiles, seeing as he was not harmed by the other mutants, but just as she was about to talk, the boy shouts.

Straw Hat: WOAHHHHH THAT WAS SO COOOOOOL!!!! DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!

Storm: You don't seem all to bother by what happened. I'm glad you're alright.

Straw Hat: Bothered? By what? You're weather powers? Why would I be bothered? They're awesome!!!

Storm: I meant about the people who attacked you.

Straw Hat: Oh them, nah, I wasn't bothered. I get attacked all the time, but I always win!

Storm couldn't help but feel bad for the boy. Living a life of a mutant was something she could relate to all too well. Although looking at the boy smile like that, you'd never be able to tell.

Storm: You can call me Ororo, but most people know me as Storm.

Straw Hat: Ok, Stormy! I'm Monkey D Luffy, and I'm gonna be King of the Mutants.

Ororo stoo quite for a moment before speaking up.

Ororo: That's quite the goal you've set out for yourself. I'm sure you can tell us more back at the school

Luffy: Nah, I'm good.

Ororo: Huh.

Luffy: I don't like school, I'd rather stay out here.

Ororo: But you'll most likely be attracted by the brotherhood again.

Luffy: That's alright, I'll just beat them up, I'm pretty strong!

Ororo: I must ask you to reconsider.

Luffy: Nah, I'm good.

Ororo: But you'll be in danger! I can't, in good conscious, leave you on your own. Is there any way I could change your mind?

Luffy: Hmmmmm, is the food good?

Ororo: I like it.

Luffy: Alright, but if the food is bad, I'm leaving.

Ororo: Thank you. *click* Storm here. We're ready to go.

Luffy looks a storm, confusing as to why she's talking to her button. His confusion is subsided by the jet that appears out of the sky and lands in front of them.

Luffy: WOAHHHHH, SO COOL!!!!!! CAN I FLY IT!??!?!

Ororo: Maybe another time. Let's go meet everyone.

Luffy: Okay!

Ororo sighs in relief, another successful mission.
