Asami POV

"It's so nice to be back on Air Temple Island. I just wish Kora was here." I said, "As do I. But she will be arriving any day now." Tenzin said, suddenly (y/n) flew past us in a wheel of blue flames, "NOT BAD KID, BUT YOU'LL NEED TO BE FASTER THAN THAT TO BEAT US!" Bumi said as he and several other air benders flew over (y/n)'s head, "Here we go again." I said as I pinched the bridge of my nose, "This is Fire Lord Zuko all over again." I said as the singular wheel of flames dissipated and was replaced by two smaller wheels of fire, he then fired flames from his hands causing him to go even faster letting him cross the finish line first. "Show off." Bumi said, "He certainly has gotten better at bending." Tenzin said, "Yes, but he's also gotten more than a little rambunctious." I said, "I mean at the ceremony earlier he ran off and Mako found him firing lightning at a tree for who knows what reason!" I said, "Well kids will be kids." Pema said, "I suppose, but he should know better than to run off like that." I said, "I get where you're coming from." Tenzin said, "I just wish Mako would help out a bit more you know." I said.

"What do you mean you're moving?!" I said, "I'm sorry, but my hands are tied, Wu's making me go with him to Ba Sing Se. I'm sorry, I want to stay here with you and (y/n), but like I said it's out of my hands." Mako said, "MAKO! WU DOWN!" Wu shouted as (y/n) finished tying him up, Mako just smacked his forehead, "(y/n) let him go. You'll never get any better practicing on Wu." Mako said as he picked (y/n) up and untied Wu, "SEE I'M GONNA HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT ON MY OWN!" I said, "He has my intenligence and your hot headedness! I can't do this on my own." I said, "Yes, you can. You're stronger than you know, I believe in you." He said, "Does anyone else smell something burning?" Wu asked, "Mako." I said, "I know." Mako said as he sat (y/n) down and put out the small fire (y/n) started on his pants. "Still think I can do this on my own?" I said, "I was the same way when I was his age, and it got me into a lot of trouble, but then I found an outlet for my energy and it helped." He said, "I tried that! The only thing that seems to work is when we're together." I said, "It's obvious what he wants to everyone but you and Wu." I said, "I get it I'm an idiot. But there are things that are out of my control Asami!" He said, suddenly (y/n) ran out of the room, "I have to go deal with this. I sugest you think about what it is you want to say to our son before you go." I said as I left.

"(y/n) sweetie." I said, "I know you don't like it when Mako and I fight, but these things tend to happen, especally when two people care about each other as much as we do." I said, "How about we go out and get some ice cream. Would you like that?" I asked, "Yeah." He said softly, "I love you." I said as I hugged him.
