* Khloii's POV*

I turn down the street, where the sign reads "Smokers Lake".

I keep checking behind me making sure I don't since my mom or dad. Especially my dad.

I continue driving until I get to this abandoned house, a few people are lounging in front of it and a few are hanging from it, literally hanging upside down from it.

I park the car and text my best friend, Nicole.

She just moved her from Hawaii but the bad thing is she's not a vampire. Like she's a real human.

Yes I know what your saying, "How can you befriend a human and not kill her??"

Cause she's different, I don't know how but she is.

I text her letting her know I made it and I'm outside.

I don't get out the car yet because once I open this door, I will smell nothing but humans, and I would be ready to eat.

But since I've been hanging with Nicole, I've been good with not eating random humans like my idiot brother has.

Yes I hang around humans as well but I' good at hiding the fact I'm a vampire.

Only Nicole knows and she accepts me as long as I don't eat her.

I hear a knock and look up and see Nicole standing outside my car, I unlock the door and wait till she gets in.

"Hey bitch, what's going on??" She says getting in and hugging me.

I smile, "What's up hoe, and nun waiting on your ass to get here. So why are we here??" I ask

She pulls out a bag out her pocket, " This is why"

The bag contained something but I never seen it before so I don't know.

She opens the bag and takes a big sniff and just smiles.

I smell it from over here and it doesn't really have a smell.

She turns her head and smiles, "Come on Khloii, let's go inside." She says opening the door.

I open the door getting out, my senses instantly hit all these people are lucky Nicole is with me, cuz all they ass would be gone.

Nicole grabs my hand and we walk to the front door and she opens it and we walk inside.

There are people laying on the floor, some sitting on the couch, and some standing around.

This big Mexican guy walk up to Nicole and gives her a dap.

"What's up Miguel? This is my best friend Khloii." She introduces me

I get a better look and this guy is something serious, he is sexy as hell for a big guy. I never was attracted to heavier guys, but Miguel I can make an exception for him.

He had a full beard, with a few tattoos and had pearl white teeth.

He smiled at me and then winked, I blush and look around.

He then looks at Nicole and starts talking, "So Nic, you got the bag??"

She holds it up and Miguel grabs it and holds it in the air.

Nicole turns to me and ask, "Hey did you get the $300 from your dad, Count Dracula??" She giggles

I shot her a look like stop before you run out. She stops then apologizes with her eyes.

"Yea I got it" I pull it out my pocket and hand it to her. She takes it counts it and hand it to Miguel.

"Ok go ahead Nicole." He says and she starts to walk away and I go to follow her.

But Miguel holds up his hand and I stop with my face confused.

"Hold on baby girl I wanna get to know you." He says licking his lips

I smile and look down.

I look up and Miguel has gotten closer to my face.

I start getting nervous, I never been this close to a guy.

I was a sheltered child, growing up as the daughter of Michael Jackson the most powerful vampire. He encloses you and hides you from the world until you finally get to spread your wings to fly solo.

I never had a boyfriend, never had sex, never even kissed a boy, but apparently I'm cute enough to get anybody I want. 😊😊

Miguel grabs my hand and we walk into the kitchen, where he lets go and gets a cup and puts a drink together.

He turns back to me and hands me the cup, I grab for it and I go to drink it but I smell what Nicole had early in the bag and I hesitate but I drink it any way.

It had a dry taste to it, but it taste good. Sweet with a kick.

Miguel grabs his cup and we walk to the couch and have a seat.

"So tell me about yourself.." He says sipping his drink

Before I could talk my head starts spinning.

I get a tight pain in my head and it hurts so bad, I look at Miguel and he is smiling.

I stand up but I almost fall but he catches me.

"I need to go home now" I say

"No baby girl you just got here I wanna get to know you." He says rubbing my butt.

I get the strength to push him off and run to what looks like the bathroom.

I shut and lock the door.

And sit on the toilet, while my head spins out of control.

I think about how my family life is, everyone has a secret and I know they will soon come out. I'm the only one without one. For now.

I stand up and look in the mirror, "Everyone can have fun why can't I?? I've been hidden from the world for so long 120 years to long. I'm going to have fun."

I open the door and see Miguel standing there looking worried.

"You ok baby girl" he says holding out his hands

I walk up to him and kiss his cheek, "I'm fine thanks"

He smiles and takes my hand and walks me to where Nicole is.

I see she is leaning on a table, and I hear her sniff.

She turns around and I see her face is covered in white stuff and she has what looks like a cigarette but it's brown with green stuff in it.

Miguel hands me a little hand held mirror with white powder on it.

"Sniff it" he says

I listen to what he says and I sniff the stuff and it burns my nose really bad.

I then start to feel relaxed...

I can get use to this.
