I threw my arm over my eyes.

~Sigh why do these things happen to me.~ Suddenly a voice rang throughout my apartment "Please gather in the hall in 50 minutes!! I repeat please gather in the hall in 50 minutes!!"

~Tch guess that's remi~, raising up I changed. ~no time for a shower ~ I stepped out the door and walked to the hall, ~seems like I'm not the first one here~.

Glancing at the twin's I passed. I spotted a slightly familiar face but didn't bother with it. We stood waiting.

[20 minutes later]

All of the remaining participants arrived, Remi finally spoke " it's good to see everyone well rested, let's continue with round two!". I don't know if he expected us to cheer but he looked disappointed. He snapped his finger and the room then started rebuilding itself. Yells of surprise echoed all over the room.

The lights dimmed and had an aquamine glow, the room had a slight chill in the air.

The room was now designed in two halfs, one for chess and the other for archery. ~hmm how boring~ I thought, Remi then started to explain this round.

" This round will be a game of chess and archery, but of course there's a catch! For each bullseye you score, you will get 100 points and guarantee your survival. Now for chess it will have 2 rounds per pair, and each time you win a round you will also receive 100 points and guarantee your survival. To also survive this round please get at least two bullseye's or more" He said enthusiastically as always and continued.

" But if you fail to succeed, it will result in your death. Try your best to win and interest the Kings. Now line up to the table with the box over there and pick a card, red card means archery while blue is chess." He instructed.

We each took turns picking a card. Some people cheered in relief, some cursed their luck. I didn't mind my red card since archery is one of the things I learned growing up. I yawned and waited for everyone to be done choosing so we could get it over with.

Eventually the round started. I was the 15th person, so my turn wouldn't show up soon. I picked my bow.

And sat down waiting. The first person walked up and aimed at the target. She was a blonde who looked to be in her last year of highschool and immediately shot her arrows one by one. Not one missed hitting the bullseye.

I whistled, it looked like it had some good people here. Who knows I might have to take this seriously.

I looked over to the chess side and saw one of the blue haired guys winning, ~heh looks like lucks on his side~. I knew those two blue haired twins were trouble. I'll have to keep an eye on them, after all they seem way to familiar.

I looked back in front of me and the 8th person unfortunately died. Well the quicker they finish the faster I get to rest.

( Time skip tsuki's turn)

I stepped up feeling eyes on me, ~what do they think I'll get stage fright?~ I joked in my mind, I held up my bow and took out one of my arrows. I aimed at the target and narrowed my eyes towards it. The arrow felt cold to the touch, and I released it. It flashed straight to the bullseye and hitted it. I let out a breath I didn't think I was holding. Notifications erupted.

I shot my next arrow and earned another bullseye, and more silver notification screens from the kings.

~This is pretty easy, I should hurry up and finish so I can sit down~

Another arrow was shot by me but missed the bullseye earning me 80 points instead. I cursed in my head. *Sigh* I walked back to where I was before and ate an energy bar I had in my pocket. More people lived and more people died.

It's not like I don't care for the people dying but would they show the same care towards me? The answer is no. Human's are selfish by nature and it'll stay that way. No matter how many people die in here I won't waste my tears on strangers who'll forget me in a heartbeat.

Soon enough the round was finished. A person who was not Remi walked up to the platform " The second round has been completed successfully, the third round will begin in three hours. I wish you mortals good luck, you may call me Raziel. I'm your second host, it was very unfortunate meeting you." He finished and shot me a glare.

~I don't think I've met him before? Anyway, three hours until the third round, I guess I'll go back to my room for now~

I walked back to my apartment feeling content with how I did. Weirdly, these rounds were easy. I pondered on wether the third round will be like the first two or not. I reached my apartment opening the door I walked straight to the living room and sat down. My head felt stuffy from all the thinking so I walked to the fridge for a bottle of water and downed it.

But my head still felt stuffy. And it started feeling hot, I unbuttoned my hood and slipped it off. My head felt like it was in the clouds, my body shuddered and my heart rate sped up. I felt an immense urge to see the colour red. Blood I want to see painted on my walls. My heart beat sped up and my breathing grew heavy. My hand's itched to have a weapon in it. 'To puncture and to ki-~ I punched myself for even thinking that and sat down panting, I didn't know what happened but it seemed to fade away now.

~but why did I want to see that at? Like is their something wrong with me? Or uh am I going crazy~ I pondered but just brushed it off I'll find out about it soon. But for now I should rest.

The past hours flew by. And we were once again in a different room from last time.

It had a round dome above us and the sun shone through it. Yet it seemed different to our normal sun. The surrounding plants looked completely out of place to what I'm used to. It had a purple and a red door on either side.

" The third round consists of a game of hide and seek, the seekers will be equipped with the weapons they choose. Once you find a non seeker player please eliminate them immediately, doing so will award you points and coins. Now, it will have safe zones spawned for hiders. If a seeker chooses to use a safe zone instead of finding the hiders, a fee of 2000 points and coins each will be taken. But do know that safe zones are limited; a fee of 350 points will have to be paid. So it's first come first

Serve. Hiders can eliminate seekers if they wish. Of course their coins and points will be transferred to you. If seekers kill/find a certain amount of hiders before the timer runs out then either side passes, if not then all seekers will be eliminated. Afterall we can always have robots participate to fulfill the requirement of people in the rest of the rounds." He finished speaking and gestured to his left which held armed robots.

This round might seem simple when you look at the explanation but, he didn't say that seekers couldn't kill each other which means it's still somewhat of a free for all, ~plus he didn't mention how many hider's needed to be found or eliminated..~

And it seems I wasn't the only one to notice this...

~This is going to be complicated(fun)~
