Alaric comes hopping down the stairs into the hallway of the werewolf transition cages. "Annie," He sighs as he stares at the girl, curled up in the corner. "Come here." Her green eyes peer up at him as she crawls over, leaning against the bars. "How are you?" He asks quietly.

She wipes a tear from her face. "Tired." She admits. Veins slowly show under her eyes. She's hungry. Alaric stands, pulling out a bag of chips, handing it to her through the cage. She yanks it from his grasp. She hadn't eaten in days. Not that they hadn't fed her, she just didn't want any. "How's Hope?" She asks.

"She's fine, Annie." He says. "I'll come back tomorrow and we can talk about you getting started on classes." He stands, walking away. Her breathing become heavy.

"Please don't leave me, I don't want to be alone, please! It hurts!" She screams. A petrifying scream fills the vents of The Salvatore school, causing Josie and Lizzie Saltzman to jump in their beds, sharing a sad look.

Hope Mikaelson hears Anastasia Kings screams, even from the Gates. Alaric approaches her. "Will she be okay?" She asks.

He sighs, putting his hands in his pockets. "It's hard to say. Her transitions are all over the place."

Her screams didn't end until she passed out from pain.
