Hi Everyone. ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ So...there is going to be 3 parts of this scene. The chapters will continue but, be shorter than a normal chapter. Due to people not liking POV switches in a single chapter. This chapter took me 3 days alone to write. I hope that it will be good enough to have y'all coming back for more.

Monica POV

"Get in, your majesty." Nicola teased me, the smile on her face made my heart so happy, her green eyes sparkled with happiness. In case you wondered, she loves shopping. I, on the other hand, not so much.

I walked to the SUV and opened the door. The smell of the mint cleaning substance hitting my senses, guess Alexander had the SUV cleaned. 'No shit, Shakespeare .' Ella said proudly.

"Mummy." Lily squealed in Alexander's arms as he handed her to me. His face held so much worry, he kind of looks constipated. I mentally laughed at myself as he stared at me.

He looks so darn good. 

I bit my lower lip as he leaned in closer to me. "Be safe, please," he whispered in my ear, his voice low and husky. His hot breath sent a shiver down my spine, making me very aware of the efffect he has on me. 

"I'm sending one of the guards to follow you. He will be in his own SUV," he said loudly, most likely because he wants the other to hear as well. 

I huffed at his overprotectiveness and just glared at him.  He still looks good though, his jeans sat tightly and his shirt, well that could have been part of his skin. I still prefer him without it though.

"Don't look at me like that, love. It's for your own safety. I have meetings to attend, otherwise, I would have gone with you." He said, closing the door of the SUV. 

'Well great... there goes the view.' Ella said.

"Men," Bella shouted loudly, as she closed her door. 

My door flew open again, Alexander was just standing there, he really did look worried. "Here," he said, handing me his card.

"Its fine, Alec. I do have some money. Keep your card." I said, smiling at him. 

Why do I want to stay home now?

"Just take it, it's ours, not mine." My heart fluttered at the word, ours. My cheeks started to heat up as he stared into my eyes and I sweat he was undressing me... just as I, was undressing him. In our minds anyway.  

"If the two of you are done flirting, can we go now?" Nicola bumped in, making Alexander growl. 

"Respect." He snapped. I took the card from Alexander and kissed him goodbye, my heart ached and Ella whined as we drove away from our home. Ours.

The road out of the territory was surrounded by trees, the sun peeking through, here and there. As I watched Lily, the sun rays fell on her face, enhancing the color of her eyes. 

The light danced over her face. 

Sun, 

shadow, 

sun, shadow... 

over and over.

'Stay alert.' Ella said coldly, pulling me from my thoughts.

'Why? What's wrong?' I asked back.

'Don't know, something is going to happen. I feel it.' 

'Does Alexander know?' I asked.

'No. It's better if he doesn't, meetings, remember?' Sshe said, cutting me off.

The ride back home was quiet, okay I was quiet. Everyone was having so much fun, I couldn't bare tell them what Ella told me, besides, nothing has happened... I felt agitated the entire day and not even mentioning being on edge. The least Ella could do was be more specific. 

Nicola had more bags in the back of the SUV than the rest of us combined. She went full out shopping mode. I can't even remember how many shops we had to go into. She even dragged me into Victoria's secret, when Bella and Lily were having some ice cream.  I was so focused on keeping an eye out, that I did not even have a moment to just relax with Lily. My number one priority was to keep her safe. That was all my mind could do, is still doing.

Lily got herself six new balls. She kept talking about, having fun with her friends and her new balls. Her little face held so much innocence and happiness. I watched her closely as she kept talking. 

She will be fine if I kept looking at her right? Nothing can happen if she is under my constant watch, right?  

The SUV passed the first line of trees before we enter the pack grounds. The royal pack and grounds were big, the biggest of all of the packs. The view was breathtaking, that is if you are like me, a nature-loving wolf. 

Underneath the trees, one could not only see small specs of plants, but also blue and yellow flowers, wildflowers.

"You okay?" Bella asked, smiling beside me. 

Her words were not even cold when a tree fell in front of us, in the middle of the fucken road.

"What the fuck!" Nicola shouted.

Frightened gasps echoed through the SUV, as the screeching sound of the brakes, filled the silence in my mind.  

All I could do was grab Lily and shove her underneath my body, everything happened so fast that the darn guard hit us in the back of the SUV. 

My chest was pounding with fear and worry as we eventually stopped, I hit my head against the back window as the SUV was pushed back into the tree line. All I heard was the sound of glass breaking as I was hurled back.

I held on to Lily again, the best way I can, trying to keep her safe.

How? Who the fuck, what the fuck just happened?  My mind was racing, as I gasped on my own breath, trying to figure this out.

To say Lily was a crying mess was an understatement. She was hysterical, her little hands shaking, as she tried to hold onto me. I tried my best, not to put any weight on her, so I fell down on my seat next to her, trying to just breathe.

'Focus!' Ella snapped at me.

'I'm trying. My fucken head hurts.' I snapped back. I could smell blood, I could taste my own, in my mouth. At that moment I wanted to hurl at the smell of it, which was alarming for me. We don't despise the smell of blood... 

We are wolves after all.

'Just keep them safe. Check them all now. Common! GET UP! You're the Luna! Own up to it!' she shouted and, she had the decency to fucken growl at me. She challenged me for control, but there was no way... 

"Back off, Ella!" I shouted, my words traveling through the SUV. 

I tried to get out, which was a fucked up mess! The door would not budge. At least Bella was okay... I don't know about the baby though. She had a few scratches but other than that, she was fine.

Guess that's the bonus of being asleep while someone is driving, your body is much more relaxed.

Nicola on the other hand was out cold, blood streamed from her leg, she was thrown into the goddess darn tree. 

"FUCK!!" I shouted. 

I could feel the tears stream down my face as my lip trembled, I tried to control it, the sobs, but they escaped. Not for me, but for the ones I love, here in this darn mess. 

"Mommy." Lily choked out, her hair was a mess and her poor face held so much confusion.

"Its okay, princess. You stay close to aunty Bella. Mommy is going to try to get out to help aunty Nicola." I said, cupping her face and placing a kiss on her forehead. 

No matter how much I tried, the door would not budge. I felt like screaming, just go full-on sociopath on the darn door. My head was pounding and the nausea was not really helping me.

I felt like I was living everything in slow motion, like the moment was frozen and I hated it! To be honest, I'm shit scared. 

'Need help with the door?' Ella asked

'Please.'

Without even any trouble Ella took over, she kicked the darn door open with once kicking and it flew out of place, landing with a loud thud in the road. 

Oh, the power of a wolf.

'Thank you, Ella. I'm sorry.' 

'It's Okay, but someone is watching us. Here,' she responded, handing me back control. 

The moment our souls crossed paths from switching, I felt a piercing pinch in my arm, the burning sensation stopped once I opened my eyes.

I rubbed my arm, but being back in my own body just gave me a bigger headache, the nausea was worse and quite honestly I felt like I've been hurled like a ragdoll.

I stepped out of my seat, but the moment my feet touched the ground and I wanted to stand, I collapsed, my legs felt like jelly, the movement was still there, but I felt weak like I've been drained of all my strength.

"My seatbelt is stuck," Bella said nervously, as I tried to get back up again. 

"Stupid.... darn it!" I said, to myself. I tried to talk to Alexander through my head, but that also did not work. Why am I so darn useless?

I realized that I don't really know how this mind link works, so there is only one way. I had to talk to Alexander.

"Bella. Min... Ale... Ple-." I said softly. My voice was so raspy and wheezy I could barely hear myself.

And then,

the darkness came.
