Archie's POV

This morning, the dining table is filled with variety of foods, even more than our usual servings as we have guests here. As we all sit in our chairs, the maids serve us the food. Mother-in-law said she'll help Gia by feeding her and that I should eat my breakfast. She has been feeding Gia from the time we came back. She's so affectionate towards us and loves Gia alot. Even having alot of food in the plate, all I do is keep pushing it around, not feeling like eating.

"What's wrong?" Kian whispers softly so that others won't hear us.

"Nothing." I state making him narrow his eyes.

"How can you say nothing when you're not eating your food? Obviously there's something." He insists.

"Um..I don't like this food." I reply not liking the food laid in my plate.

"That's your favourite dish, isn't it?" He says confused.

"It is but I'm not feeling like eating it now." I tell him alittle annoyed because he's asking me many questions.

"I'll call the chef and ask her to prepare something else, then. What do you want to eat?" He asks patiently.

"I want to eat cheese bread." I tell him and he nods before calling the chef and telling her to make a cheese bread immediately.

The chef nods at him and hurriedly goes to do what Kian asked her. He too stops eating as he wait for my food to arrive. While waiting, he gives me strange looks and stares at me as if he's thinking something deep.

"What?" I query feeling uneasy with his stare.

"You're behaving weird. I haven't observed before but now that I think about it, you were acting odd yesterday as well. One moment you were crying while saying I should have married a lady. But the next moment, when I said I would like to do what you wanted you cried even more and warned me not to marry." He explains.

"You think just because I said you should marry, I want you to get married again? You think that makes me happy, seeing you with someone else?" I utter, tears already wetting my eyes, "fine, you want to marry right, just go and marry anyone you want. I won't stop you."

I wail and instantly stand up from my seat before leaving the table, surprising the others. Making my way to our room, I wipe my tears as they freely flow. He keeps talking about marriage, does he really want to marry again because of babies? That thought alone makes me cry more harder.

"Archie." I hear Kian's voice calling my name but I don't turn to him instead I start running.

Once reaching our chamber, I enter inside and plop down on the bed before finally letting out loud cries. I don't want to cry, it feels stupid but I can't help it. He's constantly reminding me of marriage and making me feel bad. He said it's fine if we can't have more babies but then why does he remind me of marriage.

"Archie, what's wrong?" He asks worriedly after chasing me to our room.

I don't respond anything and just continue to cry while staring at him. Seeing him is making me cry even more. What if it's my last time seeing him? He's definitely going to get married again and I'll have to leave him. I can't be here when he brings another wife for himself. Where should I go this time? And what about Gia? They all love her so much, I'm sure they won't give her to me. I'll be alone again and that makes me so sad, I can't help but sob in distract.

"Something is not right with you, I'm going to take you to the physician now." He states because all I do is cry and that's worrying him.

Not bothering with him, I turn to the other side and cry more harder. But this time I'm not crying because of Kian's marriage but because I'm feeling hungry. I want to eat cheese bread. Instead of asking me to eat, he said he'll take me to the physician. He's not understanding me anymore.

"What are you doing?" I question him, still crying, shocked when he lifts me of the bed and carries me out.

He doesn't answer me, just continues to walk. Every guard and other maids look at us confused as Kian carries a crying mess of me. Ten minutes of walk later, we reach the physician lab and the guy looks up at us surprised.

"Good day, king. What can I do for you?" He greets Kian and asks what's wrong.

"Archie is behaving weird. Have a check up on him." Kian tells him and I narrow my eyes at him because now he's doubting my sanity.

"As you wish, king. Please follow me." He says and directs us to the bed.

Kian lays me on the bed and sits beside me, holding my hand. I turn away from him and keep my eyes the other side. The physician searches for the medical kit and starts examining me. He checks my eyes, mouth, heartbeat and nerves. Though I know I'm fine and that nothing is wrong with me, I can't help but feel nervous. What if Kian is right and I end up with some serious disease? As if to confirm my suspicion, the physician looks at me shocked before going to the room next to where we are.

He gets back few minutes later with a machine and I widen my eyes looking at it. Is my disease that serious that he had to bring such a machine to check up on me? Fear creeps over my heart and I immediately turn to look at Kian while squeezing his hand in mine. He gazes down at me with concern before bending down and placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"I think my disease is so serious." I mumble staring at him helplessly.

"Don't say that, he's just checking you. He didn't say anything yet." He assures but I know he feels the same. I can see that in his eyes.

We stay in silence as the physician do is work. He checks me again.

"King." stopping my thoughts, the physician calls Kian.

Even being scared and nervous, Kian still nods at the physician telling him to continue.

"Queen is pregnant and I doubt it may be more than one baby. congratulations, king." He announces with a happy smile shocking us.

I'm pregnant? We're having baby again? I'm not having any disease, it's just our baby! Why is everything so much to take in?

"Is this machine right?" I ask out of no where.

I'm genuinely concerned because when I was pregnant with Gia in Dean's kingdom, the physician there found out about it when I started showing. He just checked my body and came to know. But here, he used this machine to find out whether I'm pregnant or not. I didn't even know this kind of things exist.

"Yes, queen. This machine is right. You might doubt as it's not usually found in any places. But the prior king had an opportunity to visit foreign kingdom and that's where he brought this from. These kind of machines aren't still available in our country." He explains and I understand.

"So, I'm pregnant now, for real?" I question just to confirm again.

The physician chuckles before nodding at me, "yes, my queen you're four weeks pregnant."

A wide smile appears on my face when everything registers in my mind. I'm pregnant, we're going to have a baby. Kian's wish is getting true. I expect the same amount of happiness on Kian's face and turn to him but my smile falls as he stays stoic. Is he not happy? We're finally having the baby he wanted, why is he so shocked?

"Kian, what's wrong?" I ask feeling anxious seeing him.

"You said more than one? Are we having twins?" Instead of answering me, he asks the physician.

But that gains my attention as well. He did say more than one. What if that's true, carrying one was already hard what will happen to me if it's two?

"Yes, king. You're having babies. It can be 2 or 3 even." He states and that's the last thing I remember before I go unconscious.

When I wake up, I find myself in our room laying on the bed. I sit up and realise Kian is sitting next to me while facing me. He looks worried and dazed that he didn't even know I'm awake even when he's watching me.

"Kian." I call him making him snap out of his thoughts.

"Archie, you woke up. How are you feeling?" He questions me hurriedly.

I stare at him confused as why he's so worried but then I remember our visit to the physician and me fainting after learning that I'm pregnant. Not just pregnant but pregnant with more than one baby. Taking the pillow, I throw it at him but he catches it before it would hit him.

"Archie, what's wrong?" He queries confused.

"Kian, you idiot! Why did you put more than one baby in me?" I wail as tears flow from my eyes, "I told you not to do it too much but you never listened to me. Now, see there are more."

He smiles as I scold him making me sob more, "why are you smiling?"

"I'm smiling because I'm happy. We're going to have babies, Archie. I'm soo happy that you're pregnant." He says moving closer to me.

"But you were looking lost a minute ago?" I question him sniffing.

"That's because you passed out after hearing about our babies. I was worried about you." He replies and wipes my tears.

"Don't cry, aren't you happy that we're having babies?" He asks softly while holding my cheek.

"I am." I tell him, "but not just one, how do I carry them? It was already so difficult with Gia when she was only one."

"I'm here for you, Archie. I'll take care of you. I'll make sure nothing happens to you or to the babies. I'll do anything so that you won't have hard time during your pregnancy." He comforts me making me feel better.

"Okay," I utter and move to sit on his lap which he gladly accepts, "but I'm still angry that you put more babies in me." I huff at him with a pout.

"I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention. How will I know how many babies you'll conceive!" He says but still apologises.

"Don't say all that, just be happy that I'm forgiving you." I scold him earning a chuckle from him.

"Thank you, Archie, for everything." He whispers while placing a kiss on my head.

Humming at him, I make myself comfortable on him as I throw my legs on both his sides and wrap my hands around his neck. Nesting my face on his shoulder, I take in his scent which calms me. And that's when my stomach groans making loud noises and I close my eyes in embarrassment as he chuckles once again.

"Let's get something for you to eat, the babies seems hungry." He states and I nod against his neck, I'm so ready to eat.

"Cheese bread please." I request my interest.

"Cheese bread it is." He nods.

Kian then calls rema and tells her to inform the cook to prepare fresh cheese breads for me. Rema leaves with a nod to do the same. A while later, my cheese breads arrive and I have them stomach full. Kian then leaves for work and I take a nap as I feel sleepy.
