It was day two of the NWTFO and the battles were going to get tough.
"Today is the day of the one v one matches," Mrs. Alcott announced, "The overall points on the leaderboard show that The Red Team has zero points and The Orange Team has two points. The Green Team has two points and The Blue Teams has zero points. The Purple Team has zero points and The Gray Team has two points. The Pink Team has zero points and The Unique Team (Cole, Jade, and Bridey) has zero points." Today was the day where the winners of the battle earned their team five points for winning a one v one match.
"The first match will be Cassie Hope and vs June Arlene," Mrs. Alcott declared. The two girls run up to the battlefield. As Cassie comes up she is wished good luck by June, her opponent. Cassie kindly thanks her and resumes with the event.
"Are you girls ready?" Mrs. Alcott asked
"Yeah," Cassie and June both said
"OK... ready begin," Mrs. Alcott stated. Cassie disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"Hey where'd she go," June wondered. June looked all around for Cassie but she couldn't spot her. Cassie materialized out of nowhere and kicks June in the face knocking her down to the sandy ground. June swiftly recoups stability.
"Mystic Mist of Drowse," June called out. A thick red smoke filled the area, but Cassie blocks smoke with smoke.
"Smoke Tornado," Cassie called out and a terrible gust of wind blew around and around forming a tornado. The tornado rushes towards June and lashes its winds at her. June wasn't able to dodge the attack so she takes the hit. Then Cassie used an ability called Optic Smoke Blast and fogs June eyes. Now June isn't able to see and she screams in pain as she suffered loss of eye sight. Even though she wasn't able to see she cast a spell called Mental Projection and there a puddle of clear too appeared on the arena's ground. Out of the goo a phoenix that blazed with fire launched out.

The beast tried blasting Cassie with fire but Cassie continued to dodge the attacks. In the meantime while Cassie was busy, June casted once more another spell to help her with her eye problems.
"Another pair of eyes so I can see the marvelous and wonderful things of nature. Cleanse my eyes of impurities and aid the souls of the need, Boundless Awakening," June whispers as her eyes clear out and the fog vanishes. June called out another creature to aid her in battle. A lightning dragon that starts to swarm around Cassie.

"This is no problem for me," Cassie declared proudly. Cassie pulls out a gun.
"Smoke Vortex," Cassie said and a spiral of smoke attacks the dragon only slowing it down. While the dragon was being slowed down and struggling, Cassie covers the lion beast with smoke. The smoke simmers the fire of the beast down.
"Fog," Cassie shouts out and the beast bursts in many bits of flames. Cassie's fog wore off on the dragon and the dragon broke free. The dragon rushes at Cassie and slashes her with its iron claws. Cassie stood up and looked at her arm which appeared to be penetrated with blood gushing out from it.
"How can I beat her, she's only a Rank Three Hypnokinesis wielder," Cassie thought, " I got it, instead of me trying to attack the dragon, I should attack its source instead, June. Cassie saw June kneeled down on the ground glowing in a grayish color. She ran up to June and tried to attack but bounced backwards.
"I can't get close to her, probably due to the way she's glowing," Cassie whispered to herself. Cassie contaminates the air around June. June starts to hyperventilate because of the loss of oxygen. Cassie strikes June again in the back and then kicks her core making June fall on the ground unconscious.
"Our winner is Cassie Hope from The Blue Team earning her team five points," Mrs Alcott announced, "Now next up our one v one match will have another pair of lovely girls,"
"Maya Stellara and her opponent Bridey Orvieto," Mrs. Alcott says, "But we'll be back after a short break." Everyone stood up to either stretch, use the bathroom, or went to buy more food.
"AAAAH," a screech came from the girl's bathroom. Mrs. Alcott ran into the bathroom. Mrs. Alcott came back out and had a worried face on.
"Someone, anyone, CALL FOR HELP," she screamed before being dragged back into the bathroom. Everyone looked curious so they've all gathered around the girl's bathroom. Out of the bathroom came a huge black cloud that swirled around the entire academy.
"Jade, what's going on," I asked
"I don't know Cole, but this looks dangerous," Jade said. The black cloud forms and becomes a huge monster that starts tearing down the arena.

Jade looks worried for all the vulnerable students out there so she climbs to the tip of the arena where she was able to everything that was going on.

JADE POV

"EVERYONE EVACUATE," I called out to the students. No one heard me they just kept running, screaming, and panicking.
"Wait, I think I know what will work," I thought. I rushed to find Sabrina Gates who I found running wildly like the rest of the students did.
"Sabrina please come with me, I need your help," I called out to her.
"Sure," she quickly calmed down and followed me back to the top of the building.
"Sabrina uses some sort of sonic screaming to get everyone's attention," I said. Sabrina does as she's told and as she does I blast a seismic blast into the air. Everyone looked up at us to see what happened.
"Why are you causing commotion Sabrina," a voice said from the crowd of students.
"There is no time for this, everyone needs to evacuate immediately," Jade told them. Everyone did so, just not in an orderly way.
"Tom, Crystal, and Kiersten, would you please stay and help fend off the monster. Jonah will you go and make sure all the students leave safely," I say.
"You heard her guys, everyone out, NICE AND ORDERLY," Jonah shouts to the students.
"Thank you Sabrina, now please evacuate with the rest of the students," I tell her
"Make it out safely," Sabrina says back to me. I face the monster and blast it in the face knocking it off its feet. Tom throws fireballs at it to keep it off balanced, but it swallows it and throws it back. We dodge just in time to land another attack. Crystal used her ice to freeze the monster's feet in place.
"White paper," Kiersten says and creates a dome that traps the monster in its place. I then attack from the right side of the monstrous beast and knocks it on its side. Kiersten uses her paper sword to spice off the limbs of the beast. It looked as if the beast has been defeated but instead it swirled up in a gust of wind again and transformed into a huge dragon beast.

It then rushes its claw at Tom and Kiersten and they fall to the ground unable to move. I rushed toward Crystal and pushed her out the way so she didn't get hit. I then had an idea.
"Crystal could you fend off the dragon, just for a little bit," I asked her. I then rushed to find June Arlene.
"It'll probably be equal if dragon fights dragon. I get out of the arena.
" June we need your help over into the arena," I tell her
"Nope I'm not trying to get killed in there, not today," she says
"Please, please, please, please, please, come on June we REALLY need you," I beg
"Fine, I'll just ask Jules to heal me if I get injured," June says. We run back to the arena and June kneels down to the ground and starts chanting an incantation. Then suddenly a dragon appeared from the clouds. It was a different dragon than the one she summoned with her match against Cassie.

Both dragons go at it and June's dragon projection strikes it with its sharp metal tail. Then the mysterious black dragon bursts out a green mist that fogs the entire arena. June's dragon flies up into the air repeatedly and rapidly around the arena clearing the green mist that covered the battlefield. While June's dragon was distracted clearing the mist, the dangerous dragon lashed at June who was unable to block the dragon's attack on time.
"Red paper," Kiersten says and threw fireballs at June's dragon. June's dragon swallowed it and became a fire dragon. Crystal threw icicles at Junes dragon and now it became a fire-ice mix dragon.

June's dragon then bursts out a fire-ice blast and hits the dragon who fell onto the ground. The monstrous dragon got back up. The dragon looks at June, who is lying on the ground. It rushes towards her and grabs her body. It starts clamping its claws and almost POPS June's body in a a single squeeze. Out of nowhere June's dragon flies high in the air then rushes down striking its head through the guts of the dangerous and harmful dragon. The dragon's body then unravelled into black mist and a boy fell out landing on the ground insentient.

COLE'S POV

Everyone enters the arena again and crowds around the inert boy. Jade took his arms and brought him straight to the infirmary where he was healed by Jules and the nurse, but was still insensible. There in the same room was Crystal, Tom, and Kiersten who lost most of their power due to fighting the black dragon boy, I guess. Mrs. Alcott walks back into the infirmary and stares at us all.
"Everyone needs to return back to the arena except for the patients being treated. Everyone needs to head back to their seats in five minutes, the event must go on," Mrs. Alcott announced.
"Wait the event is continuing after we've just been in a catastrophic mess," Jade asked confusingly.
"Yes, BUT we'll have to shorten today due to how much time we've lost fighting the evil black... I mean the possessed boy. We all follow Mrs. Alcott's orders and head back to the arena.

--BACK IN THE ARENA--

Everyone is seated peacefully and calmly back where they have started from.
"The Annual NWTFO will be continuing on," Mrs. Alcott declared. Everyone from the crowds above began to cheer.
"Now everyone the moment we've been waiting for, the next one v one match where Bridey Orvieto goes up against Maya Stellara," Mrs. Alcott stated. Once again the crowd went wild cheering on and on.
"Are our competitors ready?" Mrs. Alcott says. Both Bridey and Maya agree and so the match begins.
"Ready, Set, GO!!!," Mrs. Alcott exclaimed
"Now I can fight you, fairly. And this time you'll be the one who suffers. Electrical Arc Emission," Bridey shouts and blasts of electricity shoot towards Maya who easily dodges them all.
"My turn," Maya declared. Maya uses an ability called Cosmic Breath where out of her mouth shoots out cosmic energy. Bridey quickly blocks Maya's attacks with an electric block. Maya lunges onto Bridey and Bridey grabs onto her. They both roll over onto each other. Hey both lash off and give each other cold stares. Maya decides to finish the match quickly, so she uses her ability Cosmic Fusion and fuses with all the cosmic energy stored within her.

She then flashes towards Bridey and punches her on the arm with her energy filled fist, making her kneel down before Maya.
"This will be the end of you," Maya says and rushes towards Bridey.
"Mystic Mist of Energy," Bridey shouts and out her mouth came a pink-green mist. The pink-green mist then forms a magical horse which Bridey used to ride. On the horse she rushes to Maya. Maya dodges her attacks and carelessly kicks Bridey of the horse.
"I can't take it anymore, I will NOT let you win," Bridey says. Bridey then uses a fusion incantation spell she learned at her old school.
"To the moon, to the sun, to the skies, to the earth. Here our proclamation and let us begin our preparation. Let us shine bright and let us UNITE: Electricity and Mystic Mist," Bridey proclaimed and she then fuses with her horse and became a centaur. Bridey then pulls out a bow and arrow and lights them up with the electricity flowing through her hands. Bridey shoots Maya in the right shoulder knocking Maya off her feet. Maya pulled the arrow out of her arm and slowly stood back up again. Bridey galloped towards Maya, knocking her down once again. Bridey then begins stomping on Maya's injured shoulder, crushing it.
"CRACK," Maya's shoulder went. Maya couldn't anything to escape so she closed her eyes and opened them.
"Open the cosmos of the galaxy," Maya shouts out

Then out of thin air sharp yellow blades that looked like stars rained down from the sky and started attacking Bridey. Many of the blades hit Bridey's legs which cost her to lose her fusion and return back to normal. Maya slowly stood up and pulled out a sword and slashed it towards Bridey. Bridey vanished into thin air in an instant and came right back being Maya and shot her with a huge electrical blast.

Maya flew back, face planted into the dusty ground and laid inert in defeat. That gave The Unique Team five points because of Bridey's win against Maya. My jaw drops to the ground. I was shocked at how strong Bridey was. Bridey came back to the teams seating area.
"Congratulations, you did a great job out there Bridey," Jade congratulated Bridey.
"Okay guys, this is the last one v one match of the day," Mrs. Alcott divulged. It was a final match between Flynn Wilson from The Gray Team and Jax Orion from The Purple Team. Flynn and Jax prepare for battle.
"GO!" Mrs. Alcott shouts.
"Balance Beamer," Jax says and Flynn spins upside down. Jax dashes towards Flynn.
"Gravitational Cut," Jax said. In the air a sharp blast tries cutting Flynn's arm, but Flynn uses his force field to block the attack. Flynn gets back up and speeds towards Jax and kicks him in the jaw, then grabs his arm and threw him roughly on the sharp surface of the earth. Jax got back up and blasted energy from his hands that sped towards Flynn. Flynn dodged it and ran up to Jax. Then Jax pulled a sword out of his sword strap.
"Sword Beam," Jax said. The blast hit Flynn who was unable to block the shot. Flynn tried to get back up but couldn't move because he was paralyzed after getting shot with a sword beam.
"Imma end you quickly," Jax says and raised the hilt of his sword and strikes it at Flynn's leg finishing him off. This ends day two of The Annual NWTFO with The Purple Team earning five points. Everyone left the arena hearing back home.

--BACK IN THE INFIRMARY--

"Where am I?" Crystal asked
"In very good hands," a creep voice says
"Mmmmm... mmmmm," a voice struggled to speak in the corner of the room
"Shut up," the mystery voice says and kicks whatever was in the corner.
"You're next," the voice says to Crystal.
"HELP ME, PLEASE, HEEEEEEEEELP," Crystal screeched.
