It's been a month and fifteen days later. Jade and I have been seriously training for the NWTFO. There were only fifteen days left until the NWTFO event was being held. After hard work for the past weeks, Jade and I went out for a quick treat and got ice cream.
"Strawberry," I said
"Chocolate," Jade said. As we walk back to my place, Jade and I see some street performers. They performed various acts and stunning tricks.
"Jade, you should go perform and show them that your power is far more superior than a classic circus act," I told her. I push Jade and urge her on to to perform. Then I pushed her so hard that she hit one of the performers. The performer calls her out, saying that whoever dared to interrupt has to pay the consequences.
"Who are you?" Jade asked
"Me, I'm Courageous Conor and you, your name?" Conor asked
"It's Jade," she said
"So what do you want me to do?"
"It will be a battle between you and my skilled performers," Conor said. One man started out by lighting a sword on fire and eating it whole. Another man did some fantastic parlour moves. Finally, there was a girl who rode a horse standing up, as the horse leaped over many obstacles. She did well until her foot slipped. She fell off the horse and landed in a bucket full of horse manure. Jade didn't seem to look impressed.
"I've seen better, I can do that with my eyes shut" Jade said
"OOOOOHH," the crowd screams with excitement. Jade then goes and does back flips so high that she lands on the rooftop. Then she jumps off, rolls over, front flips, and cartwheels. For the grand finale she spits out a seismic blast, spelling her name out towards the sky. The crowd gaps with excitement, then start shouting Jade's name.
"That's true entertainment," she says. Conor, jaw dropped, stares at Jade and I as we leave. We arrive at my place, exhausted, so we lay down on the couch.
"If it wasn't for my pishing and awesome motivation, you would have never gotten the praise you got today," I said
"It doesn't matter," she replied
"Well at least a thanks would suffice," I said. Jade rolls her eyes at my statement and sighs as she spread her arms across the floor.
"Hey Jade, do you actually believe in me for the NWTFO or are you just saying things because we're friends?" I asked
"Stop worrying, I believe in you and we will prevail," she said. As Jade turned around towards me I already fell asleep. Jade smiles then turns back to fall asleep as well. RING RING RING. Jade wakes up to her alarm, which read "Pick up clothes from laundromat". Jade put on a sweater and headed out in the dark, cold night. Jade passes the same area where she had "her" performance. The performing cart was still there, but why? AAAAAH, Jade heard a scream and it was coming from the Courageous Conor's cart. Jade took a peek inside and there stood Conor with a whip in his hand. In a corner, tied up was the girl who failed her performance. The girl was covered with bruises and blood dripping down her arms.
"I didn't mean to," the girl said
"You made a foolish mistake now you’ll witness what we do with garbage like you," Conor said. Conor pulls out the whip again and whips the girl who then screams with agony. Jade then busts in,
"Leave her alone," Jade says
"Hey aren't you the girl from earlier today?" he asked. Jade filled with frustration dashes towards Conor and punches him. He picks himself up and then cracks his neck.
"Now you'll see my true potential," he says. Conor produces clay from his hands and aims for Jade. Jade easily dodges, but as she looks behind her  sees that the clay hit a desk and the desk disappeared as little sand particles floated away. Jade tried to land an attack on him, but every single time she did he would block it using a clay shield. Then Jade had an idea, she thought of how in school they were taught that water softens clay. The only available water though was on a table, inside a spray bottle behind Conor. Jade leaped high into the air and grabbed the water. Jade used her seismic blast and Conor blocks it with his clay shield, as expected. Then Jade sprayed the clay shield and as it loosened up she used once more her seismic blast. She knocked out Conor and rushed to untie the mystery girl. Then Jade took her arm and left the cart. They walked and walked a couple blocks more until Jade started talking.
"Who are you?" Jade asks
"I'm new to the area, I've just arrived from a foreign country and now attend Naturewood Academy," the girl replied. Jade gasps because she never seen this girl before.
"I... I've never seen you before," Jade says
"It's okay, nobody sees me, no one talks to me, I just observe," she replies back
"Wait, why'd you decide to work as a street performer?" Jade asked
"I needed the extra money, I thought I'd be happy of I had better things in life," the mystery girl says
" I always see you, Jade, and you always look so happy. I  anted to l the same emotion as you."
"And please don't worry about me like that, the abuse happens regularly anyway," the girl said
"No one should be treated  like that and you can't go around like that, letting others bully you," Jade says
"Do you wanna come over with me," Jade requests
"I'll be fine, I'll just see at school, right?" the girl says
"Right," Jade says. As Jade heads over to Cole's house the mystery girl watches and can't help, but smile
"We'll be very great friends," the mystery girl whispers to herself.
