1. Welcome to Auradon

*Bella's P.O.V*

Today is the day. Today the kids from the Isle of the Lost are arriving. I'm so excited. I mean, it's about time we had someone other than the stuck up princes and princesses come to this school. And yes, I'm aware that I, myself, am a princess, but I certainly don't act like one. Or at least, not like the snobby ones at Auradon Prep. Although, not everyone here is mean and prejudice. Like, for example, my roommate, Lonnie, who happens to be Mulan's daughter. She's actually really nice and open minded, which is why she's my only real friend around here. But anyway, back to the villains' kids. I'm so proud of my brother for deciding to give them a chance, and not judging them because of who their parents are.

"Bella, hurry up, they'll be here soon!" Ben shouted through the door of Lonnie and I's dorm.

"I'm almost ready!" I shouted back, finishing off my hair. I was wearing a simple yellow dress that stopped just above the knee, a cropped blue cardigan of which I left the buttons undone, and a pair of black flats. My hair was in a braided half-up-half-down style, and around my neck and wrist was the diamond necklace and matching bracelet that used to belong to Mom.

Eventually, I was ready. I met Ben outside my dorm and he escorted me downstairs and out to the courtyard, where we were met with Fairy Godmother and Ben's girlfriend, Audrey. In my opinion, Ben could do so much better. She's one of the most stuck up girls here. She boasts about our royalty to everyone, including mine. I hate it because I don't really care about any of this prince, princess, king or queen stuff. It's who's you are as a person that counts, not royalty or wealth or anything stupid like that.

Soon enough, the marching band started playing as a black limo pulled up. The doors opened and two boys fell out, fighting over something. Not exactly what I was expecting, but okay. There were four kids; a girl with short purple hair dressed in pink, purple and green, a girl with long, wavy hair dressed from head to toe in navy blue clothes that matched the colour of her hair, and then there were the two guys rolling around on the floor; a muscular guy with long brown hair dressed in lots of leather (although, to be fair, they were all wearing a lot of leather), and lastly there was a guy with curly, whitish blonde hair with brown roots, dressed in red, white and black. Judging by what they were wearing, I could tell who was who; the one with purple hair was Maleficent's daughter, Mal, the one with navy blue hair was the Evil Queen's daughter, Evie, the one dressed in excessive leather was Jafar's son, Jay and the one dressed in red, white and black was Cruella De Vil's son, Carlos. I'll admit, I found him rather cute.

"Guys, guys, guys, we have an audience." Mal hissed at Jay and Carlos, who were still playing Tug-of-War with what appeared to be a blue piece of clothing or something.

"Just cleaning up." Jay chuckled, helping Carlos up off the ground. I had to stifle my laughter as I noticed the chocolate all over Carlos' face.

"Leave it like you found it," Fairy Godmother sang, before adding, "And by that I mean just leave it." Jay obeyed and threw whatever it was back in the limo. He then looked at Audrey and smirked, sauntering over.

"Hello Foxy, the name's Jay." He winked. I rolled my eyes. Of course he would be flirting with Little Miss Perfect. Audrey simply giggled, clearly unimpressed.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep!" Fairy Godmother greeted, "I'm Fairy Godmother, headmistress."

"Fairy Godmother? As in, Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo?" Mal asked.

"Bibbidi-Bobbidi, you know it!" Fairy Godmother winked.

"Yeah, I always wandered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared out of nowhere with that sparkling wand, and that warm smile... And that sparking wand..." Mal said. The way she spoke sounded suspicious, but I didn't want to judge her.

"Yes, well, that was a long time ago. And, as I always say, don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future!" Fairy Godmother exclaimed.

"It's so good to finally meet you all. I'm Ben-"

"Prince Ben, soon to be king!" Audrey cut my brother off. I rolled my eyes. See what I mean? She's obsessed with our royal heritages.

"You had me at prince." Evie stepped forward, smiling, "My mother's the Evil Queen which makes me a princess." She did a little curtsy.

"The Evil Queen has no royal status here, and neither do you." Audrey said rudely, with the fakest smile I've ever seen.

"This is Audrey." Said Ben.

"Princess Audrey, his girlfriend. Right, Benny Boo?" Audrey squealed, grabbing Ben's hand. I swear, could've thrown up right there.

"And, um, this is Bella, my little sister." Ben introduced me, letting go of Audrey's hand to ruffle my hair. I swatted his hand away and glared at him. Is he trying to embarrass me in front of the new kids?!

"Ben, Audrey and Bella are going to show you all around," Fairy Godmother informed the villains' kids, "And I'll see you tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from 8 until 11 and as you may have heard, I have a little thing about curfews." She rambled on, before walking off, the marching band following her so it was just me, Ben, Audrey and the VKs. Ben walked up to them and gave a more formal introduction.

"It is so great to finally m-meet you all," He stuttered slightly as Jay punched him in the shoulder to greet him, but it was a little too hard. He then shook Mal's hand and paused for a second to look at her. "This is a momentous occasion, that I hope will go down in history.... Is that chocolate?" He shook Carlos' hand, who's face was still covered in chocolate and Ben got a little sidetracked, before getting back to his speech, "As the day our two peoples began to heal!"

"Or the day you showed four people where the bathrooms are." Mal said, making me giggle and Ben chuckle. Audrey, of course, just scowled because she has no sense of humour.

"A little bit over the top?" Ben asked. Just a little, Ben.

"Oh, more than a little bit." Mal replied.

"Well, there goes my first impression." Ben smirked. I'm pretty sure he was flirting with her. I'd be sure to tease him about that later.

"Hey, you're Maleficent's daughter, aren't you?" Audrey butted in, "Yeah, I totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff." She continued, "Oh, my mother's Aurora, Sleeping-"

"Beauty." Mal finished for her, "Yeah, I've heard the name. And, you know what, I totally do not blame your grandparents for inviting everyone in the whole world but my mother to their stupid christening."

"Water under the bridge." Audrey said with a fake laugh.

"Totes." Mal said with a laugh just as fake. You could literally cut the tension with a knife.

"Okay, how about a tour?" I suggested, hoping to end the conversation before anyone got hurt.

"Good idea, Bella." Ben praised, before spreading his arms towards the school, "Auradon Prep; originally built over 3,000 years ago and converted into a high school by our father when he became king." We started walking towards the entrance, only stopping when we passed Dad's statue and Ben clapped, making the head of the statue morph into the beast. Carlos shrieked in fear and jumped into Jay's arms.

"Carlos, it's okay. Our father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man, to remind us that anything is possible." Ben assured the teenager.

"Does he shed much?" Mal joked. I laughed.

"Yeah, Mom won't let him on a couch." Ben said, acting serious until he smiled and Mal smirked. We continued walking into the school but Carlos stayed behind and clapped his hands, hoping to change the statue back to man.

"You can try all you want, but it only works for the males of the royal family." I told him before we ran to catch up with the others.

"Do you guys have magic here at Auradon?" Mal asked as we walked into the school's foyer, "You know, like wands and things like that?"

"Yeah, it exists, of course, but it's pretty much retired," Ben answered, "Most of us are just ordinary mortals."

"Who just happen to be kings and queens." Mal said, which of course, opened the flood gates to Audrey's obsession.

"That's true! Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years!" Audrey said, grabbing Ben's arm and wrapping around herself.

"Yeah, but it's not all about how high up or royal you are. It's who you are as a person that counts." I spoke up, earning a glare from Audrey. As you can probably tell, our hatred towards one another is mutual. At that moment, one of the seven dwarfs' sons came down the stairs.

"Doug!" Ben beamed at the son of Dopey. Doug walked down the rest of the stairs and Ben wrapped a friendly arm around him, walking away from Audrey. "This is Doug, he's going to help you with class schedules and show you where the dorms are, along with Bella." Ben explained, since I had agreed to help show the VKs while he was busy with all of his king duties. "I'll see you later, okay?" Ben told the four new kids, "And if there's anything you need, feel free to-"

"Ask Doug or Bella." Audrey interrupted. I rolled my eyes at her as she dragged Ben away.

"Hi guys, I'm Dopey's son. As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and..." He trailed off, not being able to remember the seventh dwarf, which is obviously Sneezy. Come on, Doug, get it together!

"I'm Evie, Evil Queen's daughter." Evie introduced herself, walking up to Doug. Well, I guess that makes sense, considering they're both descendants of people from the Snow White tale.

"Okay, so, about your classes... I, uh, put in the requirements already. History of the Woodlands and Pirates, Safety of the Internet and Remedial Goodness 101." Doug explained nervously.

"Let me guess, new class?" Mal assumed. Doug nodded sheepishly. "C'mon, guys, let's go find our dorms." She said to her friends and they all ran in the wrong direction.

"Um, wrong way, guys." I said with a small chuckle, pointing to the right set of stairs, "Come on, I'll show you all to your dorms."

"Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and..."

"Sneezy." Carlos reminded Doug as he passed him, before following me and the others upstairs. I showed the girls their rooms and I could tell Mal wasn't impressed by all the pink frills, but she'll just have to get used to it. After dealing with the Mal and Evie, I showed the boys their room.

"Okay, boys, this is your dorm." I said, entering their room, "And don't forget; if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me, Ben or Doug. Although, you probably should hesitate to ask Audrey. She's not the sweetest girl here at Auradon Prep."

"Actually, Princess Bella, there is something I need to know..." Carlos trailed off.

"Carlos, please, just call me Bella. My parents may be king and queen, but I am the furthest from a princess you will find at this school. What is it that you to know?" I asked.

"Where's the chocolate kept in this place?" He wondered. I couldn't help but giggle at his adorableness.

"In the kitchen. If you want, I could sneak you in there sometime and get you some?" I offered and his eyes lit up. It was pretty cute, I have to say. "But, for now, I'll leave you guys to get settled. Goodnight." I smiled warmly, before exiting their room and going into my own, where Lonnie was studying.

"Hey B, where have you been all afternoon?" She asked me.

"Showing the new kids around." I explained.

"You mean the villains?" She questioned.

"They're not villains, Lonnie, their parents are." I corrected her.

"Right, sorry." She apologised.

"It's okay. I going to have a shower, be back in a bit." I said, going into our bathroom. I had a quick shower and put on my yellow nightgown, before going back into our room.

I did some studying of my own, before Lonnie and I decided to turn the lights out and go to sleep.
