"Penny. . ."
Carla carried Penny's head, Felix carried Oid on his back and thankfully Kid was alive and not sure though those results of scratches and scars did worry him, only a little.
They left the school, and were met with the rising sun and honestly. . . It was beautiful.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, they put Kid down on the grass and they all laid down too.
"What a night. . ."
"Never stayed up that late before. . ."
"Never fought a monster yet here we are. . ."
. . .
"But why take Kid? Was he just, always reliable enough to want him, Billy you said something about his family?"
Billy nods, sitting up a bit as Felix was sat up right,"You don't know? You that story of a kid that fell down the mountain and freed monsters that live among us?", "Yeah. . .", Billy pointed to Kid,"That was Kid's mom. . . Or dad, uhm they're Genderfuild; But, Kid's their child and they were adopted by very powerful monsters.", now it made sense why notes of monsters were in the lab!
Then Bob rushed out,"Are you kids okay?!", "Yep!. . . We saved Kid!", Bob knelt down at Kid, checking for injuries but he was drenched and covered in that green stuff.

Kid felt like he was back on the ground.
Opening his eyes, he was met with the sky and blurry faces of his. . . Friends?
"Wha. . . What the. . .?"
"Kid!"
"Oof!"
Billy, Lily and Theodore hugged him tightly!
"Let him breath guys."
They let him go, Felix just pats him on the shoulder as he sat up,"Good thing you're okay.", Kid felt his clothes sticking to him, his hair covering his eyes slightly and green. . . Goo or liquid?
"What. . . Happened?"
"Nugget's Friend was taken! So Nugget's other friends saved him!"
He did remember feeling sleepy in the office, other memories felt. . . Blurry.
"Penny. . .!"
Kid saw her head, he crawled to her head despite his body having this numb feeling and held her hand.
"Yeah. . . The Principal she. . ."
"Blew her up. . . Saying she was no use to her. . ."
Kid felt so bad, he hugged her head and apologised.
"I'm so sorry. . ."
"It's not your fault. . . Maybe Monty can fix her."
Bob was listening, he sighed and they looked at him,"Uhm; Kids, let's just take you all to the nurses and let your parents know you're here, safe and sound?", they didn't have much of a choice. . . Especially Kid, who was probably still coming off that liquid and the drugs that were used.

While Bob called them all to let them know, Lily had let him know Kid was staying with them so he just let their parents know.
Kid was threw up any liquid or goo, and other kids were checked for injuries and agreed that Kid should shower.
"And Kid!"
Carla held something out; Right his patch!
"Thanks."
He took it and went in.
Felix leaned over,"Why does he wear a patch on his eye? Is it like a medical thing?", Carla shrugged,"Dunno, according to Monty he didn't wear it when they first met but now he does.", and it's not like they see his eyes often, he had a lot of hair and it was extremely curly, long and it covered his eyes a little.
He came back in spare clothes, looking fresh and with his eye patch back on.
"Thank you, for saving me."
"No worries, you helped us a lot; Only fair."
Kid smiled, so thankful and he didn't die though. . . He really hoped Penny could be fixed.
