#ClassFanfiction
I'd like to take a moment to tell you about my biggest achievement this school year. No, it has nothing to do with choir (for which I had my concert three hours ago :D), or my grades, or anything like that. It's the fact that I was able to convince my English teacher to let us write fanfiction in class for a grade. Twice.
I'm seriously so proud. FREAKING FANFICTION. IN CLASS. TWICE. So the first one was a continued ending of Fahrenheit 451, the book we read in the beginning of this semester, and the other one, which we did today, is an alternate ending to Romeo and Juliet. I'll post it in the next hashtag in a few minutes.
Also, as I'm the unofficial official narrator of the class because of my "amazing reading skills," I was asked to read someone's poem (relating to Romeo and Juliet; not everyone did fanfics) out loud to the class. So I read it in the dramatic, emotional voice that it was written in. After that, someone asked me to read their's the same way, but after glancing at it, I asked them if I could do it slightly differently...
So then I sang the poem in a country voice, folk song style! Imagine me, in front of a class, singing the words, "Oh, Romeo; oh, Romeo. Where'd you go, oh where'd you go..?" in a very twangy, country voice. It was fun. :D
